Educational Value- This has some very important educational value because these are the most common bones in the human body, and it gives a brief introduction to where they are located.

Personal Reaction- I really thought this activity was useful for studying the major bones in the human body. It first shows you an image of the entire human body placed together, and then it scrambles them allowing the student to recreate the human body. I really like how when the parts are scrambled it shows the names of the bones when you click on them. Ease of use- This was a very simple simulation to use. It was click and drag with the mouse.

Age/developmentally appropriateness- This simulation would be appropriate for upper elementary and beginning middle school. This is the age when you start to learn about the names of the body parts. How this fits in my theme- I am a sixth grade science teacher so this would fit into my science theme very easily. I could integrate this into my class as a review game for individual practice. I could use this as an extension for the human body and the students can have fun using this simulation.

Personal Reaction- I was not impressed with the website at first. Had some problems loading it and had to install plug-ins and allow them to run. A lot of technical issues if this happens for this particular website. Using the simulation was interesting and was a good tool to see the progress of the rock cycle. Educational Value- This has a lot of educational value for teaching the rock cycle. This could easily be incorporated to help students elaborate on learning the rock cycle. Age/developmentally appropriateness- This is for middle school students during their learning of the different types of cycles. It gives good vocabulary reinforcement.

Ease of use- The website was very simple to interact with. All a user needs to do is read what you want to do on the right hand side of the screen. A student than continues to decide what he wants to do next to the rock, showing the student how the rock cycle is a continuing process.

How this fits in my theme- This easily fits into my theme when we cover rocks and sediments. This will help students with vocabulary by giving them a visual.

Personal Reaction- This was an awesome website for students to understand measurements. It allows students to manipulate beakers and a liquid to come up with a certain ounce of a beaker they dont have. Ease of use- Very easy to use allows students to just click on what they want to do and fill, empty, or transfer their liquid. Educational Value- A lot of educational value for both science and in math.

How this fits in my theme- This fits in my theme because we often use different liquids to test certain materials. Having students know how to use and manipulate measurements will help me with setting up labs.

Age/developmentally appropriateness- Middle school level

Ease of use- Fun to use, but for some will be difficult to find the exact speeds and angle to hit the target. This is what would make it fun for the entire class though. Age/developmentally appropriateness- For middle school and even high school students.

Personal Reaction- An awesome simulation which will allow all students would enjoy. I really enjoyed this simulation. It allows the user to manipulate so many variables.

Educational Value- Has a lot of educational value for students. Introduces students to some basic physics that shows how valuable this topic is.

How this fits in my theme- This would fit into my introductory physics standard. It will introduce students to vocabulary and the importance of those vocabulary words.

http://www.carolina.com/category/teacher+resources/interactive+science+games+and+simulatio ns/cellcraft.do - 6-2: The student will demonstrate an understanding of structures, processes, and responses of plants that allow them to survive and reproduce. (Life Science)- I would use this website to familiarize my students with cells, cell structure and cell vocabulary. http://www.explorelearning.com/index.cfm?method=cResource.dspDetail&ResourceID=435 -6-4: The student will demonstrate an understanding of the relationship between Earth's atmospheric properties and processes and its weather and climate. (Earth Science)- This would elaborate on student understanding of why the water cycle is never ending and allows them to have some fun with it. http://www.explorelearning.com/index.cfm?method=cResource.dspDetail&ResourceID=427 -6-4: The student will demonstrate an understanding of the relationship between Earth's atmospheric properties and processes and its weather and climate. (Earth Science)- This lesson would help introduce how hurricanes move and get stronger, I would use this during the weather unit.
