This belief along with considerable enthusiasm and commitment has resulted in the author instigating greater community recognition of the value of life-long education both here and internationally. The development of courses ranging from half-day seminars to on-going programs up to the level of a Masters Degree in Hotel Management have been a part of Michaels educational developments. The development, (in conjunction with Emeritus Professor Rod Treyvaud,) of the MBA program in International Hotel Management, was recognized as the largest MBA program for practicing hotel managers in the Asia- Pacific area. The author has experience in the Vocational Education field, Universities and private providers. His current company T&T Education is a major provider of computer simulation programs both in the Hotel and Restaurant industry, software for this in conjunction with H&L Australia has been purchased by major educational providers in Australia, including Cordon Bleu, Swiss Hotels Association School in Adelaide, Regency Hotel School. The programs have been used by many Asian Hotel associations, and a variety of hotel and restaurant managers. (Please see attached program descriptions in separate files). Currently T&T Education is conducting a 3 month project for the Chatrium Group in Thailand and Myanmar, which apart from all of the food and beverage areas, include the complete repositioning of this group that has grown from just over 400 rooms three years ago in a single property to over 2000 rooms in 5 properties.
