I sat on the many corrurxttees, City Council presentetions, liaison with other departments and rhe contactors, and worked with.in a budget and a "Desrgn Build" philosophy that had nor been tried prior on a project of this type.

Reorganized the Investigations Bureaq best practices reviews with ten cities in California of our size or Iatger. The subsequent Staff Rcpon was used by the Chicf of Police ro acquire additional revenues from the General Ftrnd and various grant opportunities to expand our role in yiolent crime suppression, Property crime and identity theft software enhancements, domestic violence, child exploitation, and many other day to day enhancernents.

Converted our budget "Payroll Deduction Fi.le" to an Excel spreadsheet making it much easier and to track the changes in staffing in swom aod civilian personncl, as well as on. going operational costs and changes. It also put all funding sources together in a chronological sequence assuring grearer accountability and accuracy. This process and program has recently been adopted as a city wide model.
