In a more specific way fraction can be describe as a ratio of two whole numbers in which
number of mathematical number system are participating.
Here ratio can be defined as one whole number can be divided by another whole number. In
the below we show you the demonstration of fractional number:
a / b is a category of fractional number, in which a can be consider as a numerator value
which is popularly known as dividend and b can be consider as a denominator value which is
popularly known as divisor of fractional number. Examples of fractional number are 3 / 4, 5 / 6
and so on.
In the same aspect, percentage can be described as a way of expressing a value or number
in the form of ratio by divisor of 100 or as a fraction of 100. Generally we all are very well
aware about the topic of percentage. It means to say that percent refers as divided by 100.
In mathematics, percentage can be described by the symbol percent. Suppose we write a
number 45 percent then it can be expanded as 45 / 100.
In the given examples we are performing the concept of converting the percent value in
simpler form by dividing 100 to 45. If we want to convert the simple value in the form of
percent then we need to multiply the value by 100.
After understanding the concept of fractional number and percent we can easily perform the
task of fraction to percent calculator.
To perform the conversion of fractional number into percent, this calculator required to follow
two below given step that are:
A ) first of all get the fraction value then divide the numerator of the fractional number by there
corresponding denominator value.

B ) After obtaining the output from the above division we need to multiply the obtained result
by 100. The final result will be in the form of percentage.
Example: Perform the transformation of fractional value 2 / 3 in the form of percent by using
fraction to percent calculator?
Solution: First divide the numerator by denominator:
2/ 3 = 0.333
After that convert the obtained result into percent by multiplying by 100
0.333 * 100 = 33.3 percent
