Directions: Choose one of the following topics and write a five paragraph expository essay. Make sure to consult your Five Paragraph Essay colored outline as a guide. You should have yours in your plastic sleeve in your binder (see example on back). For your expository essay, you will need to have 3 reasons to support the topic you have chosen (paragraph 2, 3, and 4). If you cannot think of 3 good reasons and can explain those reasons using 4-5 sentences each, then you should pick ano ther topic. Focus your attention on the introduction paragraph and the conclusion paragraph. Notice that these 2 paragraphs briefly state your 3 reasons in 3 short sentenc es (underlined in the example).
