Brownwiththinredstripinit Note:Therearetwowiresinbrownwithathinredstrip;youneedthethickeroneofthe two.Findthembothbeforeassumingyouhavetherightone.Iftotalclosuredoesntwork whenyoulockthecar,chancesareyouhavethewrongoneconnected! Soonceyouhavefoundthesetwowires,youneedtotapintothemusingyourlengthof wire.Youhavetwochoicesforthis: 1. Usingscotchconnectors,jointhelengthofwiretoeachoftheidentifiedwiresas listedabove 2. Striptheinsulationback,wraptheendsofthelengthofthewireontothebare wiresyouexposed,andthensoldertheminplace(checkitworksbeforeyousolder itinplace!)andtheninsulatetheexposedwires.
