Rev. 5: 10

Themes of the Months - 2011

n Luke 7: 36-50, we have the story of a woman that achieved a non-erasable footprint. She started out as a popular sinner in her City, but by the end of the passage, not only that her sins were forgiven, her name also went down in record as one of those that loved Jesus and that equally pleased Him. It was the custom of the Jews to arrange for the washing of the feet of their visitors because of the desert soil they walked upon. It was also part of their custom to hug and kiss on cheek while greeting and as well as rinse and anoint the head of their visitors with ointment because of dust. Jesus was invited to dinner by a Pharisee. Unfortunately, this man however did not carry out any of these three required traditions. But the woman in question came to Jesus timidly from behind; rinse his feet with her tears; dried them with the hairs on her head; kissed Jesus feet ceaselessly; and anoint His feet with an expensive ointment! Today as Jesus prophesied we still talk about her good (Mark 14: 9). Most times, footprints on soils get cleaned off by agents of erosion almost immediately. However, some footprints are so large and deep that they therefore last. From this month of July 2011, God is preparing our destinies to be such that will leave an impressive footprint on the earth surface, a print that will show our love for God and provide the proof that we have pleased Him.

deer runs about 40 miles per hour, against mans 10mph. It can jump a foot fence and swim 13mph! The advantage the dear has is not its height, length; but it is specially designed legs to meet up with the fore feet; thereby generating great speed, as well as the ability to ascend and descend hills with ease. Every motion of the kind is favoured through with single focused consistency, making it the most sure footed of all mountain animals. No wonder, David said, The Lord is my strength, and he has made my feet like hinds feet, and makes me walk on high places (Psalms 18:33) Assuredly, it was God that made David to walk in Israel. How could the eighth son have become the king when there are seven seniors before him? After his blunder with Beersheba, how would he have enjoyed test oration if God had not strengthened his feet? The same confession was made by Prophet Habakkuk in his prayers (Habakkuk 3:19). The almighty God has certain high places he has prepared for us in the months ahead. He has therefore desire to strengthen our feet in the month of August! He will take us to heights where the air is pure; the view is awesome and where there are less distractions in Jesus Name.

he Bible is full of ear tingling stories, for example: The illiterate fishermen who became the greatest philosophers and miracle workers of their time (Acts 4:13); Saul who became Paul, persecutor of Jesus Christ who became the persecuted for Christ (Acts 9: 1-20); Moses, the inadequate and speech impaired who became a terror to the greatest emperor of his time, and a quiet person who led over a million stubborn people for 40 years (Ex. 10: 16-17); The 90 years old Sarah who became pregnant and delivered of a baby boy naturally (Gen. 21: 1-7); The virgin called Mary who became pregnant without sexual intercourse and gave birth to the Messiah (Mt. 1: 18-25); A whale swallowing up a disobedient prophet and later commanded by God to vomit him ashore when he repented (Jonah 1, 2); etc. So, in I Sam. 3: 11, God told Samuel that He was about to do something that will tingle both ears of those who will hear it. He was going to reverse what He had promised that the Levites will be priests forever (I Sam. 2:30) and so introduced someone from another tribe entirely! This month of September, God will orchestrate and publish ear tingling stories about Everlasting Fathers Assembly positively. Stories that will seem like fabrication or untrue will God physically demonstrate in our midst in Jesus name.

seal could be defined as something such as stamp that authenticates, confirms, or attest that an object is under high security and as such should not be tampered with. Seal often shows that a completed transaction has occurred; it is often a mark of identification and ownership; and it is often a mark of protection or security. When such authentication is from God Himself, it is said to be Divine seal. Approval on the other hand is the action of officially agreeing to something or accepting something as satisfactory; or the belief that someone or something is good or acceptable. So when God considers something or someone acceptable, good or satisfactory and as such put His stamp on the object for exemplary treatment, a Divine seal of approval is then enacted. In Rev. 7: 1-8, four angels were instructed to hold back the four winds of the Earth as punishment from God. As they were about to do so, a superior angel was sent to them to refrain until some special persons were sealed on their foreheads to receive protection from the impending danger. 144,000 Jews were sealed to be immune from shortage of oxygen and the dearth of terrestrial organisms that will result from inadequate gases. The world we live today is undoubtedly experiencing the anger and wrath of God. The world is convulsing from shortage of oxygen. This has affected the earth, the trees and the seas with their associated organisms. The good news however is that an instruction has gone out from God to place a seal of approval on some of His servants which by the grace of God, Everlasting Fathers Assembly is inclusive. The convulsion in the Universe, the shocking effect on Mankind and global fainting on all will not affect us in Jesus name.

arvellous can be defined as causing wonder or astonishment; miraculous; supernatural; of highest or best kind of quality; first-rate. Expression on the other hand can be defined as lively or vivid representation of meaning, sentiment, or feeling; significant and impressive indication, whether by language, appearance, or gesture. This sort of expression was displayed by God to the Israelites at the Red Sea. They thought they had been cornered up and that there was no way of escape from their enemies. But God showed them miraculous gestures that shocked them to their marrows. By the following morning, all the host of Egyptians that had cornered them up became dead corpses floating on the Red Sea bank, together with their horses and chariots (Ex. 14: 1-31). In this month of November, God will display His marvellous expressions through us and for us positively in Jesus name. We will experience miraculous appearances; supernatural gestures and astonishing manifestations in Jesus name.

uman instinct always suggests to us that there is something special at the other side. So we always try to peep and even jump over in order to find out what the other side offers. This could be explained by a popular saying, The grass is always greener at the other side. Sometimes the other side offers elevation and fulfilments; at other times however, the journey to the other side can be regretful except it was initiated by God. In Luke 8: 22-25, one day Jesus told His disciples that they should go to the other side of Lake Galilee. On reaching the middle, a storm arose that troubled the boat to the extent that they almost drown. Jesus then spoke to the wind and the sea to be calm and it was so! A careful study of the passage shows that the reason why Jesus risked the life of everyone was only to deliver a man who his case seems to have gone out of hand and to show His supremacy over nature. The man has been written off as a totally unredeemable case. Jesus set him free, commission him to become an evangelist and came again to this side of the lake. There is therefore deliverance, peace, honour, amazement, commissioning and testimonies at the other side prompted by God. These and many other blessings are promised by God for us in this month of December and beyond as we heed His call to work for and walk with Him. Anyone among us going through a rough wind and wave will this month receive peace and calm in Jesus name.

From The Pastor

raditionally, kings do not manifest anyhow. They enter on stage majestically with prior herald by a town crier. Priests also do not manifest anyhow. They are always preceded by altar boys and priests in training before they step out. Whenever you see a king, introduction is not necessary, because it will be obvious. Their royal robes; the sceptre in their hands; the horses or chariot they ride on; the throne they sit on; the crown on their heads; and the entourage that goes with them are some distinguish characteristics features of kings. The priests on the other hand are identifiable by their special collar; their robes; their ornaments; their caps; their altar boys; etc. In both instances, they possess the empowerment to reign on Earth. The bible talks about the Millennial Reign of Christ where saints will reign with him for 1,000 years on earth (Rev. 5:10). However, even as we live today, regardless of the influence of the Prince of this world around us, we ought to reign as kings and priests. David is unarguably one of the kings in Israel and history that manifested greatly on the earth. He was a mighty warrior. The kingdom of Israel became vast under David with many lands paying tribute to him. He was very rich that he was able to save substantially for his sons reign. The height of his manifestation was that God Himself put a seal of approval upon his life (Acts 13:22).

Manifestations Kings and Priests

Samuel was one of the priests in Israel and in history that manifested greatly. From a nobody in particular, he became the High Priest in Israel. God made sure that whatever he said came to pass (I Sam. 3:19). In this current year of our existence at Everlasting Fathers Assembly, some of us will manifest as kings; while others will manifest as priests. For the kings, they will be made to rule. They will occupy positions of authority and Pastor Samuel Obafaiye governance. God will place sceptre in their hands and clothe them with honour. They will also ride on high places. For the priests, they will be arrayed with ornaments of beauty. Their lives will be made colourful, they will enjoy good followership and God will establish their sayings. The sweetest thing is that one can function in the two offices like David did (I Sam. 30:7-8). May God establish His promise and cause us to manifest indeed as kings and priests unto him on earth in Jesus name.

ccording to the Bible passage, Brethren the life we live on this earth is compared to or is like a race. It is the race of life and how we run the race will determine how we will live our lives on this earth, that is what we will receive from life and ultimately where we will end up at the end of our lives. The Bible makes us to understand that it is either Heaven or Hell. Just like Apostle Paul has rightly said in our Bible passage 1 Cor. 9:24 (Know ye not that they which run in a race). For people that are ready to run a race a command would normally come as thus: On your Marks, Get Set, and Go. Just like the Theme of the month of January as spoken by The Lord through the Prophet of the house, says Ready Momentum Brethren I can assure you that before we can be on our marks, before we start a race we need to be ready, we need to be in the right shape and form physically, spiritually and emotionally. Before we can gather our speed for our Ready Momentum we need to have done the necessary things. The Bible says in the Book of Eph. 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day having done all to stand. Brethren we are in the very end of the last days (evil days), the devil knows he has but a short time and all he is doing is making people fall out of the race of life, so they can loose out here and in eternity. But I have good news for someone here today peradventure the enemy has cornered you in a corner, my prayer is that The Lord Himself will deliver you today and grant you His speed to cover all lost ground in the name that is above all names. Brethren for us to be on our marks, for us to be ready, for us to take off to great things, we need to have prepared ourselves. For us to gather enough speed (momentum) to take off into Gods greater glory for us in this New Year and beyond we need to shed off all unnecessary weight that could easily beset us to fall or trip on our way? For us to keep our eyes on the finish line, this should be the focus of every runner. The Bible says in the Book of Heb. 12: 1-2 That Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith, our focus should be on Him at all times. Peter walked on water for a few moments until he took his eyes off Jesus and cast his eyes on the storm that was raging and almost sank if not that he cried out to the Lord for deliverance. From the Bible passage Heb. 12:1 we understand that the weights we need to lay aside for us to be victorious at the end of this race of life is sin in whatever form it might present itself. Brethren sin is sin, there is no scale or weight of measurement we can place sin on to justify our actions. Little sin, Big sin is counted before the sight of God as sin, the Bible (Hab. 1:13) makes us to understand that God is of a purer eyes and can not behold iniquity. The Bible in Rom. 3:10 further emphases that no sin will be allowed into Heaven. Disobedience in whatever form (either to God, to authorities God has put in place and to the laws of the Land). The list is end-less: unforgiveness, envy,

j e a l o u s y, b a c k - b i t i n g , g o s s i p , covetousness, fornication, adultery, slandering, bearing false witness, pride, lies, stealing of Tithe, etc. Brethren the amazing thing is that the devil knows the Bible more than some of us, may the Lord have mercy upon us. The devil will rob a fellow of the 90% and leave Gods 10% because he knows too well that he can not rob God, even he knows the consequences. Ways we can prepare ourselves for Running to Obtain 1Kings 19:41-46 The first thing Elijah did after delivering that wonderful prophesy to King Ahab, as we will note from previous verses that there had not been any rain in the land for 3 years plus. PRAY: As Ahab went up as he had been commanded to eat and drink, Elijah did not do likewise but he went up to the top of Mt. Carmel and cast himself down upon the earth and put his face between his knees and prayed to the God of heaven and the earth (a position of total surrender to His maker to do that which no man can do) and he did it seven times until he got a positive answer from God. He asked until his joy was full (John 16:24) Brethren we need to pray so that we dont become a prey. Our prayer account must be credited at all times. PREPARE: Prepare thy chariot and get thee down that the rain stop thee not. Before a pilot takes off or a learner driver wants to drives off there are checks they need to carry out before they eventually take off: Cockpit checks for Pilots and Cockpit drills for car drivers. POSITIONING: Brethren our positioning matters if we want to operate under Gods speed. Are you positioned in His will, I want to believe that there is a general will of God for all His children and then there are specific wills for specific children. For example, a general will for Gods children concerning marriage and relations is found in 2 Cor. 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers, for what fellowship hath righteousness with un-righteousness and what communion hath light with darkness. Brethren we need to find out the mind of God concerning everything that pertains to us, which is His perfect for us Brethren we also need to be careful of the people we surround ourselves with. The Bible makes us understand that evil association corrupts good manners 1 Cor. 15:33. There are 4 categories of people in life: people that add; people that subtract; people that multiply and those that divide. We must stay away from people who subtract and divide in life, people who wont add to our lives, or encourage us but discourage us. These are dream killers or destiny killers. May the Good Lord help us all in Jesus name.

Themes of the Months - 2012

eady can be defined as completely prepared or in fit condition for immediate action or use; duly equipped, completed, adjusted, or arranged, as for an occasion or purpose. Momentum on the other hand can be described as the force or speed of movement or impetus - the energy with which a body moves. For forty years that the Children of Israel journeyed through the wilderness and for many years after that when they had settled in Canaan, the presence of God was within a tent. No one thought of the idea to build a temple, a habitation that is worthy for the Almighty until the reign of David. Unfortunately for David though, God refused that he should build a place of abode for Him; principally because he had shed innocent blood. However, God agreed that Davids successor Solomon would be eligible to build Him a place. Not only that Solomon was very blessed to be the qualified candidate; he enjoyed ready momentum in building of the temple. The architectural designs, the gold, silver, bronze, iron, precious stones, woods, and even sands to build the temple were already prepared by his father. Contracts with the suppliers and experts were also signed prior to Solomons rule. When he got on the throne, he just started building with ease (I Chro. 22: 1-20) In this month of January, God will use it to make us gather momentum that will propel us through the year 2012 powerfully. We will begin to sign contracts that will elevate us in the year. All the gold, silver, precious stones, iron, woods, sands, etc. that we would require in 2012 would be duly arranged this January by the Almighty Father in Jesus name. upernatural is defined as something of, pertaining to, or being above or beyond what is natural; unexplainable by natural law or phenomena; abnormal. It could be said to be something of, pertaining to characteristic of, or attributed to God or a deity. Recovery on the other hand is the restoration to a former or better condition; the action or process of regaining possession or control of something stolen or lost; or the obtaining of a right. After the death of King Saul and his 6 sons, including the 5 sons born by his daughter Merab (I Sam. 31:2; II Sam. 4:7; 21:7-9), Ziba the Chief servant of King Saul confiscated everything that belong to King Saul to himself. A time however came when God made David to remember his covenant with Jonathan, he then requested if there was anyone in the linage of Saul that he could show kindness. Mephibosheth name came up. He was the only surviving male in that linage. He was however lame from 5 years old, having fell from a horse as his nurse was saving him from assassination. Since then, he began to live as a reject hiding in a poor location (II Sam. 4:4) called Lo Debar. From that destitute state, King David ordered that Mephibosheth be brought to Jerusalem; that he would then eat at the Kings table and be placed on a prince allowance. He would also be given back all the estates of his grandfather as a king and he took ownership of at least 36 servants! (II Sam. 9:1-13). What a supernatural recovery! This February, whatever anyone has stolen from you justly or unjustly will be supernaturally restored by the kindness of God. Whatever pertains to you that had been damaged will be put into better condition. Any of your right that has been withheld will be regained in Jesus name. vertake can be defined as been able to catch up with; draw even or level with; or to pass after catching up with. It could also mean to come upon someone or something unexpectedly and as such takes such a thing or one by surprise. In I Sam. 16:1-13, we have the story of a father Jesse who had eight sons and was privileged to be chosen by God as the father of the next king in Israel. When Samuel the kingmaker visited, one would have thought that Jesse would line up all his eight sons before Samuel, but he paraded the first seven and it took Samuel curiosity to joggle his memory before he remembered that he had an eight son David. The rejected David was anointed by Samuel in front of his overtakers and the Spirit of God descended upon him afterwards. This enabled him to slay Goliath and in no time he was rubbing shoulders with kings, princes and princesses. He was also made a Commander in the Army, whereas his previous overtakers that normally hush him up were mere soldiers (I Sam. 18:1-5). What challenges have overtaken you in life? What are the problems that have overwhelmed your spirit or soul? What are those things contending with your progress and advancement in life? Who are the people you have started the journey of life with that has made you feel inadequate? Whether it is people, spirits or situations, you are overtaking them this month of March and beyond. May Gods hands lift you up and drop you in their front and cause you to remain there till the end of the race in Jesus name. n Mark 5:21-42, Jesus returned to Capernaum as soon as He was chased away from the land of the Gadarenes after the deliverance of the maniac of the region. He was approached by a ruler of the synagogue (Jarius) who pleaded with him to come and lay His hands on his daughter who was at the point of death. As Jesus was going with him, the incidence of the woman with the issue of blood delayed Him and the fact that multitude were pressing on Him. Before they could get to Jairus house, his daughter had died. The bearer of the message told him not to bother Jesus anymore for the case is now unredeemable. Jesus overheard the statement and encouraged Jairus not to lose hope. On getting to the house, Jesus chased the mourners away, went inside with the parent of the child; including Peter, James and John. He simply just spoke to the dead corpse and said, Talitha cumi which means Damsel, I say unto thee arise. The dead girl arose, ate and started her life back! In this month of April, the Almighty God will wake up whatever has slept within us; He will silence every kind of ado; He will call us to Himself and show us mighty deeds. He will make us to walk with great and majestic strides. He will also cause people to be astonished about us with great astonishment in Jesus name. od is not a man that He should lie; neither is He the son of man that He should repent (Num. 23:19). God however has several ways He speaks: He can render a statement; He can make a promise; He can enact a covenant; and He can even swear! Our God does not change, however God being sovereign can wilfully alter His previous statement and replace it with another as He so wish. This He has done before (I Sam. 2:30). But there are certain words spoken by God that He is bound to keep: these are Divine surety or Divine certainty. I have come to know that when God is talking and says, Surely; Verily, verily; Indeed; As I live; Truly; etc., this is Divine certainty. He would have committed Himself to do that which He says. When the children of Israel provoked God and said that they were no longer going to Canaan and were even making plans to go back to Egypt, God spoke to Moses and said, surely all those that provoke Him will not enter into Canaan and so it was (Num. 14: 20-23). On the other hand, when Jesus earthly ministry was over and needed to go back to Heaven, He envisaged the despair that will come upon His disciples and so told them, surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age and so it was and is (Mt. 28:20). In this month of May, God says our lives shall not be characterized by maybe, likely or probably. He says that He will personally guarantee our comfort, safety, provision and attainments in life.

elebration could be defined as a joyful occasion for special festivities to mark some happy event. Honour on the other hand could be defined as fame or glory; great respect, regard, esteem, etc.; high or noble rank. Honour could come upon a man in several ways: some are born with it e.g. Royals; some attained it by diligence and hard work e.g. Professors; while some were made honourable by calling e.g. Priests. In Chapter 3 of the Book of Esther, we are made to know that Mordecai was a diligent and hardworking man; he was always sited at his duty post. However, Haman hated him because he wouldnt do obeisance unto him. There was a plot therefore by Haman not only to kill Mordecai, but the whole of Jewish race. This made the Jews to fast and prayed for 3 days and afterwards God overturned tables against Haman. God joggled the memory of the King to remember the loyalty of Mordecai which had gone unrewarded. This led the King to authorise a celebration of honour for Mordecai, ironically it had to be implemented by Haman (Esther 6:1-12). In this month of June, your Royal descent will speak for you. Your diligence and hard work will be remembered and your calling be celebrated in Jesus name. May the King of kings authorise your celebration of honour; and may He force your assailants and persecutors to supervise your jubilation in Jesus name.

PROPHECY FOR 2012

Astounding is defined as bewildering or striking dumb with wonder; or so surprisingly impressive as to stun or overwhelm. While accomplishments could be defined as the act of carrying out or achieving; something achieved or successfully completed; gained skills or talent; attainment of social grace, style, and poise.

he year 2012 approaching, the Spirit of God had told me that it will be our year of: Astounding Accomplishments

The bible records that Elisha was able to fulfil the condition set by Elijah and so received the double portion of his masters anointing! The sons of prophet that thought Elisha was already stranded at the other side of Jordan bowed before him and called him Master after he parted the Jordan River and walked through it on dry ground! (2 Kings 2: 1-15). All the people that are thinking that you will be stranded next year, they will bow to you throughout

By Pastor Samuel Obafaiye

After God ordered Elijah to anoint Elisha as his successor; Elisha left his lucrative mechanized farming and became a servant to Elijah. He would run errands for him and take care of his master. The time came when God was prepared to take Elijah away; Elishas contemporaries began to make mockery of him that he would soon be like them, but Elisha was determined not to remain as an ordinary son of a prophet; but as someone spectacular. So he demanded for the double portion of the anointing of God upon his master.

the year in Jesus name. Every circumstance and situation that is waiting to make mockery of you in 2012 will be your stepping stone to victory in Jesus name. In the year 2012, the Spirit of God says He will make us to achieve feats that are astounding; we will gain talents and skills that are staggering; and also enjoy attainments of social grace, style and poise that are startling!

May Your Footsteps Terrorise Your Overtakers

ne of the things that can distract someone at the front of a race is the sound of the footsteps of the person behind them. Though the person behind might still be a bit way off, depending on the terrain, size of feet, footwear and serenity of the area, the sound of the approaching feet may vary. In Judges 6:1-15, we have the story of the Children of Israel been oppressed, tormented and terrorised by their overtakers - the Midianites. The Children of Israel were living dangerously in mountain clefts, caves and in very difficult terrains because of the overtakers! Not only that they force the Israelites to live rough, the forces of Midian always target the havesting time of crops in Israel and move in the fields by eating and destroying what is left. This happened for seven years until the Children of Israel cried unto God for help. God then chose Gideon to rescue the people. On the face level, Gideon did not look like someone who could overtake the Midianites. He was fearful - beating wheat in a pit rather than on a hill top. Though Gideon was a mighty warrior, that wouldn't have guaranteed his victory. He will only overtake because 'the Lord is with him'. - you are hiding in a pit, God will bring you to hill top - you are questioning the faithfulness of God, "I change not, if you can just believe".- how can I overtake? I am weak and small. The Lord will be with you.300 men slew 120,000 out of 135,000 (Jdgs. 8:10) without losing a soul! You will not suffer any loss in the battles of life. Interestingly, God told Gideon to go to the enemy's camp with his servant. On getting there, one Midian soldier was relaying his dream to others. Judgs. 7:10-14 - loaf of barley tumbled on the camp Barley is inferior to wheat so is their loaf of bread. At the time Israel was inferior to Midian, Gideon inferior to Midian commanders. Not too long though overtaking the overtakers happened. You may be inferior or less in value today, God will however cause your value and worth to increase in Jesus name. In 2 Kgs. 6:24-33, the Syrian Army had overtaken the Children of Israel to the extent that Samaria had been besieged and no one could go out. Foods were so scarce that the Israelites began to eat their children in turns. The King of Israel then threatened the life of Elisha for not coming with a solution. Elisha prophesied that an overtaking is coming for the Israelites in 24 hours. It happened that in less than 24 hours, God made the Syrians to perceived the footsteps of the coalition of Israelites army with other nations coming after them. The Syrian army therefore ran away, leaving all their stuffs and raids behind. Is there anything negative that has besiege your life? Is there anything that is mitigating against your feeding? Have you been moved to selling something precious in order to feed? Today, God will cause you to overtake all these negative circumstance. Ecclesiates 2:26 26 For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.

TEACHING

By Pastor Samuel Obafaiye

May your overtakers hear a mighty noise behind them and abandon all their wealth for you in Jesus name. May what has been used to purnish you become your strength in Jesus name. After God delivered the Children of Israel from bondage. About a million people were making the journey of foot. God took them through the Red Sea miraculously. The news of this and other miracles made nations along their path to Canaan to be terrified. In Joshua 2: 8-11, Rahab confessed to the terror that has come over Jericho and it's inhabitants. Jericho was a fortified city, yet they were afraid of civilians that do not have an organised army! 8 And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof; 9 And she said unto the men, I know that the Lord hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you. 10 For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed. 11 And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there Poster Design by Brother Ayodotun Afolami remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the Lord your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath. May your advancement become a terror to your overtakers. May everything that stand before your settlement and elevation in life faint because of you. May the news of what the Lord had done for you in the past haunt your overtakers of today. At the news of your coming, may the hearts of all your overtakers melt, may their courage disappear. The Children of Israel enjoyed the same thing in Goshen. Not too long after the death of Joseph, the Isrealites had multiplied in Egypt that their overtakers were becoming uncomfortable that they might overrun them anytime soon. Exodus 1:6-22, the king of Egypt and all his people devise a cruel way to curb the Israelites overtaking them, by killing the male newborn. Even so, they still got their freedom 80 years later. What are the strategies that your overtakers have put in place in order to curb your growth? Those strategies will not work in Jesus name. Every slave master that has oppressed you in life thus far, their era stopped today in Jesus name. May the Almighty release you from every embittered of the enemy. No one will be able to cut off the object and source of your deliverance in Jesus name. Isaac was a sojourner in Gerar, yet his overtakers were so afraid of his footsteps. In Genesis 26:12-31, Isaac planted crops in famine when people were managing their leftover and he reaped a hundred fold. He became so great that the king begged him to move away, that he has become too powerful for them! Not only that, but considering where his God might take him to, the king of Gerar later came and make a treaty with Isaac, that he will never do them any harm in the future. You might be a sojourner in United Kingdom, but you will not be a commoner. May God cause you to be noticed. When others are struggling to survive, may you enjoy abundance. May those that have overtaken you before be forced to make treaty with you. There is however a pitiful story of a man in the scripture that God promoted to overtake his overtaker, but through ignorance and carelessness, he lost his position as well as his life. In I Kgs 13:1-32, God chose a young prophet to travel from Judah to

You are gifted to make a mark - Ephesian 4: 7-13

-By Pastor Yomi Obadimeji
You need to recognise that you are gifted. There is the need to recognise your dominant gift. That is what will make way for you. David is known as the writer of the Book of Psalms. He was a great singer. But his dominant gift was that he was a mighty man of valour; a fearless warrior. He killed lions, bears and Goliath. After killing Goliath, his indelible mark began to manifest! Joseph is known as a dreamer and an interpreter of dreams. But that was not his dominant gift. His dominant gifting was having compassion on people and exhibiting a discerning spirit. He was able to discern that the Butler and the Baker were not happy and that led to the interpretation of the dreams they told him and two years later, the interpretation of the dream of Pharaoh. Paul was a successful lawyer and barrister at law. He was a great speaker. However his dominant gift was the ease at which he was able to relate with people to become a great apostle of Jesus Christ. So for you to leave an indelible mark, you must: Recognise your gift (Mt. 7: 11) Jesus had to recognise His own. Know that it is the Holy Spirit that gives the gift (I cor. 12: 4) The gifts you have are relative to your assignment and not to another persons (I Cor. 12: 11-12) Your gift is given to fulfil a purpose and not to be idle (Ex. 36: 1-2) Your gift is to solve problems (Prov. 3: 27) Your dominant gift will become a seed in the lives of others. God will then compensate you (Ephes. 6: 8) Your gift will be removed from you if you do not use it (Mt. 25: 28-30). Your significance as a person is not in the similarity with others. Be yourself. Excerpts of sermon delivered at the 5th Anniversary of RCCG EFA Leeds. Pastor Yomi Obadimeji is the RCCG Zonal Pastor in Charge of Manchester & Senior Pastor of RCCG Strong Tower Manchester.

ne of the most wonderful revelations of the Bible is that God is our Father. What do you think of when you hear the word "father"? Do you automatically think of protection, provision, warmth, and tenderness? Or does the word "father" paint different kinds of pictures for you? God reveals Himself in the Bible as a gentle, forgiving Father, intimately involved with each and every detail of our lives. It is not only a beautiful picture, but a true one. However, every person seems to have a different idea of what God is like, because they unconsciously tend to attach the feelings and impressions that they have of their own earthly father to their concept of their Heavenly Father. Each person's own experience with human authority is usually transferred over to how they relate to God. Good experiences bring us closer to knowing and understanding God, just as bad experiences create distorted pictures of our Father's love for us. What did God have in mind when He created the family? The Bible says, "God makes a home for the lonely (Psalm 68:6 NASB) A family involves a circle of relationship including an adult male and female, into which tiny, dependent human beings are born and raised. Why do we enter the world as such helpless, inadequate persons, and then slowly grow up physically, mentally, and emotionally into self-sufficient adults? Have you ever wondered why God didn't come up with some sort of reproduction system that would produce a physically completed person such as His original creation of Adam and Eve? I believe God wanted us to come into this world totally dependent and helpless, because He intends the family unit to be a place where His love is demonstrated to both parent and child. As parents we begin to really understand God's heart towards us as His children. And as children, it is God's will for us to see His love revealed through parental tenderness, mercy, and discipline. But what if the ideal did not happen? What if you have been failed in some way by parental authority? So many have suffered hurt and rejection by their families that it has become hard for them to see God as He really is. Understanding the character of God is essential if we are to love Him, serve Him, and be like Him.

For ease of communication I will be referring almost exclusively to God's qualities of fatherhood. I want you to look back into your personal past and see if your relationship with God has been hindered in any way because of a failure or absence of tender loving care from one or both of your parents. Parental Authority Our past experiences dictate our response when God reaches out to us. A weeping prophet named Hosea heard the voice of God (Hosea 11:1-4 LB) God's authority is not harsh and vindictive, but to the contrary, He is unspeakably gentle and longsuffering. God is slow to anger and delights to be merciful. It is only right that we correct disobedience, but our children should always know that we discipline them because we love them, and not because we are venting our momentary frustration. Our Heavenly Father is at this very moment being slandered and misrepresented all over the world by man's cruelty and selfishness. Not only in the home, but in all forms of human government. His laws of love have been ignored and our mangled hearts continue on in carrying out injustice to all those smaller and weaker than ourselves. A BROKEN-HEARTED FATHER who is rejected by the little ones He yearns to heal. It was God who gave this command to parents in Ephesians 6:4 By Minister Caroline Ndlovu

May God Have Respect For Obafaiye You By Pastor Sam

above them all in Jesus name. May it be that every time you knock on heaven, may answer come for you in Jesus name.
In Numbers 16: 1-35, we have the story of Korah, Dathan, Abiram and 250 princes of Israel challenged Moses leadership and prophethood. Moses asked them to bring their instrument of worship (censer and incense) and stand before God to see whom the Lord will have regard for. It happened that at the end God showcased Moses as His own and destroy the other group in a strange manner. May God's respect upon your life showcase you to humanity in Jesus name. May God elevate you more than the princes of this world.

hat is respect? It is a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something brought about by their abilities, qualities or achievements. The word respect is synonymous with honour, esteem or regard. May God give regard to you. May God honour you in life. May God esteem you high in Jesus name.

You might be thinking in your heart that what is Pastor saying. How can God respect man? How can the Creator respect the creature? The Bible makes us to know it's possible: Psalm 138: 6 Gen. 4:1-7 makes us to understand that two brothers born of the same parents went before God to give their offering for the 1st time in their life, it happened that God had accepted the offering of one of Abel and despised that of Cain. This was because He had respect to the person of Abel and not that of Cain as regarding their deed. May all your offerings to God meet with respect and regard from Him in Jesus name. In Judges 13:2-23, God sent an angel to Samson's mother to prepare herself as she was to give birth to a Nazarite. When Manoah - Samson's father came back, his wife told him the instruction she got, thinking that it was a man of God that came before, Manoah prayed that God should send the messenger to them again. Despite the fact that God do not repeat Himself (Psaml 62:11). He still chose to give regard to Manoah request and send the angel the second time. I pray that God will show respect to your requests in Jesus name. May the Lord give regard to your petitions and supplications in Jesus name. In I Kings 18:15-38, there was one of the greatest spiritual context of all times. One prophet in one camp and over 850 prophets on the other side who were backed by the king and his queen. The context was to bring down fire from heaven to consume their sacrifice on the altar. It happened that the God of Elijah sent fire on his altar because his God had respect for him. May God make fire to be at your altar continually. Regardless of the number of people against you, may God have respect for you

In Romans 9: 10-16, we have an account of God concerning two brothers even when they were yet to be born. God said I have regard for Jacob who happened to be junior and disregard for Esau who incidentally is the senior. This is because God knew their qualities ahead of time. May the Spirit of God have respect for your personality. May God admire your attitude and your disposition to life. May your destiny be pleasing to God in Jesus name. BENEFITS OF DIVINE RESPECT When God have respect for you, others gives you greater regard (Dan. 2:46) Your issues becomes personal to God (Num. 12:1-15) WHAT TO DO TO OBTAIN DIVINE RESPECT Humble yourself before God and reverence Him. Respect begat respect. (I Peter 5:6) - Manoah did Offer sacrificial offerings to the Lord - Abel did Cherish your gift and use it faithfully - Esau did not, but Jacod desired to. Be meek, do not fight for yourself - Moses did Be sincere with God - Elijah did Prayers Almighty Father, grant me the ability and grace to earn your respect in Jesus name. Almighty Father, let your respect and honour for my life be vividly evident in Jesus name. Almighty Father, hide me and my family under your pavilion away from any harm in Jesus name.

SINGLES FILE
Ruth clung to her (she must have heard the tale of Gods mighty hand upon Israel and the prosperity that had overwhelmed the land, above all that God had visited Israel). Look, said Naomi, your sister-in-law is going back to her people and her gods. Go back with her. It is possible that Naomi, although in a strange land still remembered the God of Israel, the gods of Moab were not sufficient enough to hold her sway but she realised that there were gods in the land and the wives returning meant returning to their kindred and their gods. 16 But Ruth replied, Dont urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. 17 Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the LORD deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me. This is absolutely a place of choice, choose ye this day, its all about the one question Im I in or out? She had no clue of what was in stock for her, Naomi absolutely from all perception had nothing to offer her, Naomi had no life to give her, she had no fame or fortune she was returning to but Ruth held strong. Ruths ordeal was a perfect excuse to go back like Orpah did, nothing would have been counted as crime against her obviously the bond of the vow was broken, till death do us path; non recorded against Orpah which would have been the case for Ruth, in fact, no one would have blamed her for going back to her mother, her gods, her family would have been longing to receive her back to themselves but she chose to stay dont urge me to leave you or turn back from you; that is boldness. Somehow many would have called her a fool for following Naomi, there was no promise of anything, absolutely futile from a logical point of view to return with Naomi to a land where God forbade her entry but she was determined. She was faithful to keeping her promise of Nothing will separate me from YOU. Ruth understood the meaning of selflessness, value for another. She couldnt abandon Naomi in her grievous predicament, she considered herself less important so that she could serve Naomi, that, I call humility, endearing. Well you could as well call it love, its an opinion. My sincere plea, before you open your mouth wide, holding one hand up to recite the vow, please understand the meaning of every word and its consequence if broken. Be sure to be perfectly fit to say the vows and to uphold the words till death otherwise, forever remain silent. Reading through Philippians 2:1-5, I understood what Paul meant by, consider yourself less important for the good of others. Such an example we all crave, the question is, have you ever given up your priority for the benefit of another? A food for thought! Greatness is a word so desired by all but the price for it could be very demoralising. Are you willing to pay the price? A single act can earn you a place of remembrance as it did to Ruth, Mary of Bethany, Mary Magdalene, Rebekah Can you beat that? By Brother Ukeme Asuquo Okon

ften times I have heard arguments on the subject about Ruth, while many claim her popular statement that has become the so-called epilogue of marital vow or translated into one of many marriage rhythms was spoken or borne out of love or pity for Naomi, other schools of thought claim she had nothing to lose. I could as well convince myself that her statement was borne of love or pity but for the sake of understanding, let us revisit the incidence and determine the nitty gritty that warranted the statement. Obviously, for such a woman that lost everything, no child to call her own (no record of that), No home or name to hold on to anymore, what else did she have? Nothing! ! For point of emphasis, which we will focus on later, two women were involved in the same situation, had the same problem, lost their husbands at the same time (probably) and were both given the same choice but they both decided on their fate and... You would realise at the end that everything about life is a matter of choice! Choice! Choice! Please follow the story; Ruth chapter 1 vs 2 And the name of the man was Elimelech, and the name of his wife Naomi, and the name of his two sons Mahlon and Chilion, Ephrathites of Bethlehem-judah. And they came into the country of Moab, and continued there. Remember that Moab and its descendants were cursed. Deut 23:1-3. An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the LORD for ever which means by virtue of living in Moab, Gods law was broken. The Ephrathites were from the linage of Ephrath, wife of Caleb. Notice also from the bible that the generation had not passed tracing the genealogy; so it was possible that the curse was very much on the first generation. 3 Now Elimelek, Naomis husband, died, and she was left with her two sons. 4 They married Moabite women, one named Orpah and the other Ruth. After they had lived there about ten years, 5 both Mahlon and Kilion also died, and Naomi was left without her two sons and her husband Here again, the bible did not record that the two women had children but from evidence, they were barren but that is not the focus, just a point of emphasis. Naomi lost her husband and two children likewise the women, Ruth and Orpah in the pace of ten years. What fate were they left with? They could just abandon the old wretched widow (I guess she would have been mocked and called a witch the African style) and returned to their people after all, it was their land, forget the past and move on. Naomi on the other hand was a stranger; there was nothing left to hold on to as possession from a foreign land. She lost her name, her fame, her glory as a woman and everything one can think of. Reading on, Then Naomi said to her two daughters-in-law, Go back, each of you, to your mothers home Then Orpah kissed her mother-in-law goodbye, but

Bethel and deliver His message to King Jeroboam, ignoring the old prophet that lived in that city. The message was delivered properly, but the young prophet was tricked by his overtaker - the old prophet not to comply with his returning instructions. Unfortunately, that was his last assignment! May your Divine speed not hindered by ignorance and carelessness. May you not disobey the instructions that God has stipulate to use to grant you overtaking speed in life in Jesus name. Prayers 1. Almighty Father, render powerless every evil counsel against me in life. 2. Almighty Father, render every door of attack on my spiritual, financial, and physical progress to be shut in Jesus name. 3. Almighty Father, let terrifying noise be sent to the camps of my enemies. 4. In the name of Jesus, I command every spiritual robbers that has stolen from me to return all my wares in Jesus name. 5. Deut 28:2 - Almighty Father, let blessings overtake me in life. Let me overtake every curse of life in Jesus name. 6. Need to Pursue- Almigthy Father, grant me the power to pursue all my overtakers vigorously and catch up with them.

he statement above seems to be turned upside down. What people are familiar with (Christian inclusive) is Alpha & Omega, the beginning and the end. Nevertheless, the statement only revealed the personalities of God further. It shows the TIMELESSNESS of God who has no beginning and no end. Man and everything that happens to man has beginning and definitely an end. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 talks about a time for everything. In the eight verses, there are 28 different times; time of peace being the end. This is for those who accepted the only invaluable but free gift given to mankind- Jesus Christ. In this world, the end of something marks the beginning of another; the end of one day is the beginning of another day. As a week is ending, another one is starting. Once a year ends another one begins. For God, he is the same and his years

have no end Psalm 102:27 Another fact about this statement is that it shows that God does not work by the calendar of man. Gods timing is different from man. For man, a day begins in the morning and ends in the evening. In other words, morning and evening makes one day. At creation the bible recorded in Genesis 1:5 that God called the light day and darkness night and the evening and morning were first day. Genesis 1:8 and God called the firmament heaven and the evening and the morning were the second day. from mans point of view, it should have been recorded morning and evening first day, morning and evening second day etc. The end of compromise marks the beginning of righteousness, end of night marks the beginning of a day, end of bondage is the beginning of freedom. End of prayer is the beginning of impartation. Every mountain has a peak no matter the height and every peak has a bottom. God who started a day in the evening and called it a complete day in the morning will begin a new thing in the life of a man who thinks all hope is lost, no way out or it is completely finished. However this can only happen when such an individual declare to God that my time is in your hands, take over. This is the only moment God is waiting for and he will come in full force. God has no beginning and no end, the way he works is unsearchable and he indeed is God of the end and God of the beginning. By Minister Gabriel Adunmade

Flap Your Wings To Rise

od told us at the first service of this year that while others may crawl, limp, walk, joggle and even run this year, that by the grace of God, we will be flying through. So God gave us the word of command to prepare for take-off. In the following weeks, God consolidated His word by telling us that it is our set time for God's special favours. He equally admonished us to be ready for the astounding accomplishments He has promised us; and also encouraged us to run well this year that we might obtain what He has promised. Today, God has asked me to instruct us to 'flap' our 'wings' in order to rise and then fly. I therefore consider carefully all objects that are known for flying; all of them (except kites and small balloons) do generate internal energies within them that enables them to rise, fly and cruise. Insects, birds, hot air balloons, helicopters, planes and rockets would need to flap their wings or generate momentum in order to rise from the ground surface and fly above. There was this song that reigned a couple of years ago by R. Kelly, 'I believe I can fly...'. However, believing only would not make one to fly but by activating one's faith. I love the way James put it 'Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead being alone' (James 2:17). So in 2012, for us to enjoy astounding accomplishments, God asked me to tell everyone to flap their wings to rise. (example of hen and bird feeding together, try to catch them, hen will run, but the bird will fly out of reach). Your enemies will not catch up with you in Jesus name. With God all things are possible. What I have however found out in the Scripture is that most of those that experienced astounding accomplishments in the Bible, God normally wait for them flap their wings, and then He lifted them up. In 2 Kgs 4:1-7, the Bible tells us about a woman whom her husband died and left her debts to pay back. The woman could not pay and so creditors came to take her two sons into slavery. She ran to Elisha, instead of the man of God to pray for money to descend from heaven or that her creditors will forgive her, Elisha asked her to borrow pots and pour oil out of the little jar she had into the borrowed pots. She obeyed and she sold the oil, pay her debt and live ever happily after on the rest. What a flap of wings! (1) Shame of borrowing pots. (2) Fear of looking stupid to her sons. (3) The risk to her small oil. What is your problem? Does it have to do with money? Do you have something that can quickly generate money? It might be that you need to obtain a loan, produce much of the thing, return your loan and feed on the rest. If you are that person, may God give you direction. E.g. Richard Branson In John 5: 1-6, the Bible records the story of a man who had been sick for 38 years and was only able to lie at a spot. Jesus asked him if he wanted to be healed, but he was telling stories. Jesus then commanded him to rise up; take up his bed and walk. This was a man that needed a lot of effort to get up. How would he carry his bed? And then to walk with it? What Jesus was saying to the man was to activate his faith in Him. What is that your bed that you have lied down on for so long? Do not let that bed carry you around anymore.

Overcome the bed and progress. Note that if the man had questioned Jesus command, he would probably have lied down there all his life. In John 9:1-7, the Bible tells of the account of the man that was born blind and how Jesus healed him. Jesus could have commanded his eyes to be opened instantly, instead He first made clay into mud by adding spit, rub the mud on the man's eyes, and then asked him to go and wash in a pool at another part of town to regain his sight! This must be very challenging for the man. He already could not see, why put mud over the eyes again? And how would he find his way to the pool having been blind from birth? But thank God the man obeyed and came back home seeing. Is what you are believing God for seem to be getting worse? Are you expecting light and it seems that it's getting darker? Walk with it in faith. The Living Water will grant you your miracle. In 2 Kgs 5:1-14, the Bible again tells us about Naaman, the commander of Syrian Army. He had enjoyed great military victories from the Lord! But yet a leper. He was advised to go to Israel that Elisha would heal him. He came with faith and hope that Elisha would rub his hands on his own skin and that would be it. A thought that was very possible. Elisha however asked him to go to the River Jordan to dip himself seven times and be clean! There were problems with this: the Jordan River is a dirty water and he had to remove his dress in front of his servants. What a disgrace he thought! His servants however advices him to 'flap his wings', that is complete his part of the instruction and see what will happen. Thank God he was cleansed! What is the 'but' in your life that you are trying to remove? Do you have a specified way for him? Is God trying to use another way that looks unpleasant? Focus on the removal of the thing rather than how. God will grant you a joyous song in the end in Jesus name. The Bible again tells us of the 4 lepers in 2 Kgs 4-14, that flap their wings to become millionaires. They were initially to die of hunger, but they encourage themselves to advance to the camp of their enemies. As they confronted their fears, they enjoyed astounding accomplishment. What is the situation you are in? What are you afraid of? Who or what is scaring you? Your miracle might be tied to where your fear is coming from. Flap your wings of faith and courage, then see what God can do. Almighty Father, put your finger on anything and everything that might be slowing me down in life and remove them. Almighty Father, let everything that disturbs my greatness in life be extinguished by your Fire in Jesus name. Almighty Father, let every work done in the dark against my life be exposed and cancelled in the open in Jesus name.
