Guidelines for submission of Ph.

D thesis in Digi tal Format to CSIR-URDIP The thesis should be submitted in MS Word format or as PDF document. No compres sion should be used. The thesis should be submitted on a CD-ROM as a single file. Author is responsi ble for the appearance of the document. Author should submit the following documents: The document containing complete thesis as submitted to the University (Soft cop y should be submitted) (Please refer to Appendix 1 for format specification) The document containing title of the thesis, name of the author etc. in a tabul ar format (Please refer Appendix 2 for format sp ecification) Supporting documents (Please refer Appendix 3 for format specification) URDIP makes no changes to the app earance and content of the thesis. APPENDIX 1 Kindly observe the following specifications while preparing the document. Image specification All the images appearing in the document should be either in JPEG or GIF form at only. Specification for Chemical Structures and other Graphs All Chemical Structures and Graphs should be either in JPEG or GIF format only . All other formats should be converted to ei ther JPEG or GIF format. All the images & chemical structure should be integrated into the documen t at a ppropriate places. Patent number and title should be provided, including Patent title, Author names, Application no., Filed date, Issue date(If Issued) and Synopsis You must follow the above format only. Please don t change the order. The above template file may be downloaded from here . The duly filled form has to accompany the thesis CD-ROM. The soft copy of the sa me should be included in the CD-ROM. APPENDIX 3 Covering letter should mention the file name and its description. Ki ndly mentio n the CSIR Sanction Number.
