2 Hazard (hazards) identification Apply individual protection measures to protect respiratory organs, skin, eyes. Avoid direct contact with the product, do not take meals and do not smoke at the workplace, keep personal hygiene measures. The personnel should be subjected to preventive and periodical medical examination. Production premises should be equipped with running cold drinking water supply, ventilation, sanitary and personal service rooms with hot water supply. The production premises should be equipped with first-aid kit, holding the medicines for first aid to the injured persons. As per the impact on organism, is related to hazard class 4 in accordance with GOST 12.1.007. The given product is not classified as dangerous one as per Directives 67/548/EEC and 1999/45/. Under the influence of external heat sources at over 1000, diammonium phosphate and urea, included in the fertilizer, are decomposed with emitting of ammonia gas phase. The product is hygroscopic, absorbs atmospheric moisture from air. Substances, contact with which may cause dangerous reaction: strong oxidizers, strong alkali. Dangerous products of decomposition: ammonia; phosphorus, nitrogen and sulphur oxides. 11 Toxicological information Inhalative action: CL 50 >2000 mg/kg. In clinical picture of acute intoxication prevail the lungs system injury symptoms: obstructed respiration, rhinitis, general sluggishness, adynamy. Threshold concentration Limch is 10 mg/m3. In this event the regenerative functions in central nervous system (CNS), liver, blood were observed. Introduction into stomach: LD50>5000 mg/kg, the clinical picture of acute intoxication was characterized by spasms, hemodynamic syndrome, respiratory distortions.
