Excitement, nervousness, and joy, that are the things that filled me before going to our immersion.

It was my first time to participate in this kind of event thats why I am clueless about what to see and what to do in my first immersion. And just after a week, everything became easier and happier to me. Teaching and inspiring kids are always been a relief and joy to me. I was filled with excitement, happiness and nervousness right in the moment I found out that I will be having the chance of doing this through this subject, NSTP. In the first day of our immersion, there are couple of questions came across into my mind, How many kids are we supposed to teach, Are they going to be nice or naughty to us, What does the place looks like and other stuff, and other related stuff. After some few weeks in doing this immersion, all the questions I have in my mind was answered. Doing this entire process had contributed to different good effects to me. One of the greatest things I gained and learned with this immersion was the importance of the children in our society and so helping and making the happy is a must for every citizen like me. Through this process I was also able to improve the way I handle patience. Also, these entire things allow me to do one of the greatest things a man can do, which is to inspire other people. Of no doubt, this NSTP-02 immersion was a fun filled activity that I will keep for the rest of my life. Making the kids happy, teaching and sharing different helpful things with the kids every week were the highlight of the immersion that struck me the most. For the twenty-seven hours I had spent in the center, all of the kids I had taught became close and significant to me. All of them have different values and characteristics that are very special for me. They are all very enthusiastic, happy at all times and most of all very persistent in doing and accomplishing things. From the beginning, handling different behavior of kids became the hardest thing to me. The kids we handle differ with their values, some are very quiet and shy which we had hard times in making them speak and participate before the class, some are too naughty, and some are too noisy. But with the groups cooperation together with the activities we had presented to them, we were able to handle them properly, effectively and efficiently. The six benildean core values namely, deeply rooted in faith, sense of nationhood, socially responsible, creativity, professionally competent, and appreaciation of individual worth.
