1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED. By submitting an entry to the GE Lights Contest, you are agreeing to be bound by the following legal terms. The GE Lights Contest (the "Event") will begin at 5:00:00 PM Eastern Time ("ET") on July 27th, 2012 and end at 11:59:59 PM ET on August 12th, 2012 ("Promotion Period"). The Event is sponsored by General Electric Company ("GE" or Sponsor). Multiple entries by the same individual are permitted. Participation is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. You are responsible for checking applicable laws in your jurisdiction before participating in the Event to make sure that your participation is legal and to ensure that you comply with all relevant laws. You are responsible for obtaining all passports, visas, and other government-required documents and permissions needed to use a prize. ELIGIBILITY: The Event is open to individuals who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of registration. In order to participate, you must have a mobile device with either a data plan or wifi access and with the Instagram and/or Viddy application(s) installed. Employees and contractors of General Electric Company, Viddy, Inc., Instagram, Inc., iStrategylabs LLC ("Administrator") (collectively "Promotion Entities") and their affiliates or subsidiaries are not eligible to enter or win. HOW TO ENTER: To enter, use the Instagram and/or Viddy application(s) on your mobile device to snap photos and/or videos during the Promotion Period. Photos and/or videos should relate to GE lighting, lighting in general and/or sustainable environments built through better lighting technology. Post your photo or video to Instagram or Viddy during the Promotion Period with a caption describing the photo/video and the hashtag "#GElights" (collectively the photo/video and associated caption are your "Entry"). Your Entry will appear automatically on the GE Lights Facebook Tab at http://facebook.com/ecomagination (the "Event Webpage") and by entering, you expressly agree to such posting. Multiple entries are permitted, but you must use the #GElights hashtag in the caption of each photo or video entered. Photos and/or videos taken and/or posted outside the Promotion Period will be disqualified. PUBLIC VOTING: During the Voting Period, members of the general public who have an active Instagram and/or Viddy account will be permitted to vote on entries via Instagram, Viddy and/or Webstagram, by Liking an Entry on its platform of origin. The user of each active account will be permitted to vote a maximum of ONE time on each Entry during the entire Voting Period, to last from July 27-August 12. As an entrant, you are encouraged to tell others about your Entry and ask them to vote for their favorite entries, but any activity that GE deems fraudulent, unfair, or unethical (such as automated voting using bots, scripts, or other software tools, or one individual casting votes using multiple Instagram and/or Viddy accounts, or payment or other consideration in exchange for votes) is not permitted and may result in an Entry being removed and/or the entrant disqualified, in GEs sole discretion. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: Entries will be judged based on the following criteria (a) total votes on Viddy or total votes on Instagram; and (b) relevance to GEs Power of Illumination theme. Representatives of GE will review the top ten (10) entries with the highest number of votes on each platform to select one entry from each platform with the greatest relevance to GEs Power of Illumination theme. One (1) potential winner will be selected from each platform (Instagram and Viddy) for a total of two (2) winners. Potential winners will be notified via Instagram or Viddy comment posted on the photo or video in the winning entry on or about August 31, 2012. The potential winners will have three (3) days to respond via e-mail with their full contact information to claim their prize. Each potential winner must also sign and return a Declaration of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (Declaration) within seven (7) days following receipt in order to claim the prize. If a potential winner fails to respond to the comment by providing full contact information within the designated time, or if the potential winner fails to sign and return the Declaration within the required time frame, or if the potential winner declines the prize, or is discovered to be ineligible

or otherwise to have violated these Official Rules, that potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner will be selected for the applicable platform (Instagram or Viddy) according to the criteria described above. GE is not responsible for notifications that are misdirected, addresses that are no longer correct, misdirected, misdelivered or otherwise failed mail or courier communications, or for any other communications failure beyond the control of GE. 7. PRIZE: Between August 27 and August 31 , 2012, GE will announce the Winner on the Event Tab. Two prizes will be awarded. Each Winner will receive a trip for the Winner (the "Trip") to visit Tower Bridge in London, England, United Kingdom. The Trip includes (a) round-trip economyclass airfare for Winner from the gateway airport nearest Winners place of residence to London, England (both airports determined in GEs sole discretion), (b) business-class hotel accommodations for at least three (3) consecutive nights, (c) ground transportation between the London-area airport and the hotel for winner, (d) a guided tour of Tower Bridge, (e) meals and incidental expenses (up to $300), to be awarded in the form of a prepaid debit card, and (f) $3,000 cash. The Winners will also each receive a re-lamping of their home up to a value of $3,000 from GE Lighting, including an in-home lighting audit and consultation from a local GE lighting expert. At Sponsors discretion, and if so directed by Winners or required by applicable law in Sponsors sole determination, all or part of the cash portion of the prize may be paid by Sponsor directly to a taxing authority in the winners place of residence on behalf of winner, and except for such direct payment of the cash portion of the prize, all taxes shall be the sole responsibility of winner. Prize does not include assistance with or travel costs or other expenses associated with obtaining a passport or visa, if required. No substitution of prizes is permitted except that GE may substitute a prize or prize component for a prize or prize component of equal or greater value should any prize or prize component become unavailable for any reason, in GEs sole discretion. Prize is not assignable or transferable. Limit one prize per person. If Winner cannot take the Trip for any reason, Winner will forfeit the prize and GE may, at its option and in its sole discretion, select an alternate winner or the prize may not be awarded. All of the prize elements are subject to change and shall be determined by GE in its sole discretion. Approximate retail value of each prize is US$6,000. Actual prize value depends on the location of the Winners residence, dates of travel, size of home relamping project and other variables. This is a contest of skill. Your chances of winning depend upon how many votes your Entry receives on the applicable platform and how well your Entry reflects the theme of the Power of Illumination compared to the other Entries. Travel must be completed by December 31, 2012 or the Trip portion of the prize will be forfeited in its entirety and Sponsor will have no further obligation to Winner. Any difference between stated value and actual value will not be awarded. Winner is responsible for any costs and expenses associated with the prize that are not specifically noted in these rules, including but limited to additional ground transportation, meals, laundry service, longdistance telephone calls, souvenirs, costs of entry fees and other activities, insurance, and other personal expenses associated with the Trip, and for electrical upfitting, electricity sourcing, fixtures and other expenses associated with the relamping project. Winners are responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents prior to travel. Certain black-out dates and other restrictions may apply. Both Trip and relamping portions of the Prize are subject to availability and scheduling at a mutually convenient time. All travel must be booked through Sponsor. Sponsor will attempt to accommodate Winners preferred itinerary and timing, but all specifics thereof will be at Sponsors discretion. If Winner cannot comply with these restrictions or any other portion of these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited in its entirety and an alternate Winner will be chosen. In the event the winner lives within 100 miles of the London, England, United Kingdom, ground transportation only (not air transportation) will be provided to and from the hotel from Winners residence. Flight details are subject to availability and airline carriers regulations and conditions apply. The trip may not be combined with any other offer and travel may not qualify for frequent flyer miles. Airline tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and are not valid for upgrades. The hotel accommodations, airline tickets, and other components of the Trip will be determined at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Changes are not permitted after air ticket issue. prize substitution if a Winner is unable to take scheduled trip by reason of illness, family emergency, personal events, terrorism, labor strikes, weather, or other acts beyond Sponsors control. 8. OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES: GE does not claim any ownership rights in your Entry. By using the "#GElights" hashtag to submit an Entry, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and grant GE a non-exclusive, fully paid-up and royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, delete from, add to, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce and translate your Entry, including without limitation the right to distribute all or part of your Entry in any media formats through any media channels. By submitting an Entry, you consent to the use, by GE, its affiliates, subsidiaries, parents, and licensees, of your name, likeness, and image, your home town, country of residence and the photo(s) and/or video(s) submitted in the Entry(ies) in connection with the Event and GEs related marketing activities, in any media or format now known or hereafter invented, in any and all locations, without any payment to or further approval from you. You agree that this consent is perpetual and cannot be revoked. For uses beyond the consent that you grant above, you agree that GEs use of your personal data will be governed by the Privacy Policy posted on the GE Ecomagination Facebook Page. You acknowledge that the Event is not sponsored by, endorsed by, administered by, or associated with Facebook, and that your Entry is being provided to GE and not to Facebook. You agree that nothing in these Rules grants you a right or license to use the GE name or any GE trademark or service mark. 9. WARRANTIES: By submitting an Entry, you represent and warrant that your Entry: a. b. c. d. e. f. is your own original work; does not contain material or images that is, in GEs sole judgment, obscene, inappropriate, offensive, or defamatory; does not violate or infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity or other rights of any person or entity; does not contain malicious code, such as viruses, timebombs, cancelbots, worms, Trojan horses or other potentially harmful programs or other material or information; does not and will not violate any applicable law, statute, ordinance, rule or regulation; and does not trigger any reporting or royalty obligation to any third party.

You further represent and warrant that the rights that you are granting under these Official Rules do not conflict in any way with any other agreement to which you are a party, or with any commitments, restrictions, or obligations that you are under to any other person or entity. If your Entry contains an image or representation of an identifiable feature of a person other than yourself (for example, if enough of someone elses face were shown so that that person could be identified), then you represent and warrant that you obtained the express approval of that person before submitting your Entry. By entering, you acknowledge and agree that GE shall have the right to remove from the Event Webpage and/or disqualify from the Event any Entry deemed to violate any of these warranties or any other aspect of these Official Rules, in its sole discretion.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Event, you agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless GE, iStrategyLabs LLC, Facebook, Instagram, Viddy, and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotions agencies, and each of their respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders, and employees, as well as each judge

(collectively "Released Entities") from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions and any liability of any kind resulting from or arising out of your participation in the Event or inability to participate in the Event, and your use and enjoyment of any prize or prize-related activity. Released Entities are not responsible for any miscommunications such as technical failures related to computer, telephone, mobile device, cable, wireless, or unavailable network or server connections, related technical failures, or other failures related to hardware, software or virus, or incomplete, late or misdirected entries. Any compromise to the fair and proper conduct of this Event may result in the disqualification of an Entry, termination of the Event, or other remedial action, at the sole discretion of the GE. GE and its agents shall have the right to remove any Entry from the Event Webpage at any time, if, in their sole discretion, an Entry is determined to be obscene, offensive, inappropriate, or to infringe or violate the rights of any person or entity. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, the entrant will be deemed to be the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Instagram or Viddy account used to post the Entry. Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet Access Provider, Online Service Provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the applicable email address. 11. 12. WAIVER: By entering the Event, you waive all rights to seek injunctive or equitable relief, or to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or attorneys fees. LAW & JURISDICTION: You agree that these terms and the relationship between you and GE shall be governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New York. Any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with this Event must be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in the state of New York. TAX INFORMATION: Except as expressly provided in these Official Rules, all governmental reporting of prizes and all federal, state, local, and other taxes on prizes and any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use are the sole responsibility of the applicable Winner. If a Winner is a U.S. citizen, a 1099 tax form in the amount of $6000 will be issued to the Winner. Event Tab upon confirmation and will remain posted for a minimum of 30 days.
