Steps for Online Resetting of Corporate Internet Banking Password

(A) Online Password Request Submission


For online request of password resetting please follow the below mention steps: 1. Visit Corporate Internet Banking (CIB) site. 2. Click on the option Online Request for Password Resetting from the link Online Options

3. On clicking the link 'Online Request for Resetting Passwords' the below screen will appear :

4. Enter the required data Corporate Id & User Id for whose passwords have to be reset. E Mail Id ( This email Id should be the same as the one registered in the Internet Banking system of the bank. To know the email id registered, please check in the 'My Profile' option under 'Customize Module' ) Confirm E-Mail Id Password to Reset (Sign on, Transaction or Both) Passcode (This is a temporary passcode and must be of 8 character long and alphanumeric) Imp. Note: Please keep remember the passcode you entered as it will be required at the time of retrieving the online passwords. 5. Click on Submit Button. 6. If the data entered is correct and match with bank's records the request will be submitted and an unique Reference Id will be generated for future reference. Imp. Note: Please note down this reference id as it will required at the time of retrieval of online password.

7. On successful submission of request password will be generated and an email would be sent to you on the registered mail id instantly.

(B) When Password Received by User


After successful submission of request the password will be generated and an e mail would be sent to your registered e mail id instantly. After receiving mail following step should follow: Following is the screen shot of e mail sent by bank:

2. Fill the required fields Corporate Id & User Id (for whose passwords request had been submitted) Request Id (which was generated at the time of placing request) Passcode (the same passcode which was entered at the time of placing request)

3. If the combination of the above data is correct, system will show the password to user.

4. Once the password(s) are viewed click on the button Proceed button that assures that password has been viewed. Important Notes: a) Viewing password is a one time activity so the same passwords cannot be viewed second time hence please note down the passwords carefully b) The password on the url must be viewed within seven days of the mail date as after 7 days URL will get expired.

(C) Activation of Passwords The password(s) which are displayed by the system through online facility would be in a disabled state. To get the same activated the below mentioned steps need to be followed: 1. If request is placed for the user who has only view access then he can activate password him/herself.

2. In case of the users with transaction access, for activation of the password the below mentioned steps need to be followed:

a) After viewing password send an acknowledgment letter mentioning Corporate Id, User Id, Account Number, Date, request Id and should be signed by the user for activation of passwords. b) Acknowledgment can be sent through following channels Fax the letter on (022) 42514557 Email the scanned copy of the letter to corporatecare@icicibank.com Submit it to the nearest ICICI Bank branch Imp. Note: (1) Request letter needs to be signed by user and signature should be as per bank record. (2) Your request will be rejected if bank does not receive the acknowledgment letter within 1 month from the date of placing the request.
