Instructions Officers Visual Aids/Materials, Opinion/Feedback

As the Council members know, visual aids are now something to be looked forward to per area session, this is courtesy of the CFIO, and however, there are still concerns that need to addressed: Visual aids vary from area to area. Despite the fact that lessons from the different areas are the same, the approach to how the visual aids are to be made/prepared for each area session may be different. With this I ask the Instructions Officer per area to help me with the visual aids. This does not necessarily mean each Instructions Officer has to help me make/prepare the visual aids, this means that an Instructions Officer per area ought to have the say to how visual aids in a particular area [session] ought to be. With that, there would be a Google Document open for editing to people who have the link (that would mean the whole Council) this document shall be used to note/list how different areas would request different type of visual aids. Instructions on how to use the Google Document can be found below: The first column is the Lesson Proper. Here the lesson for a particular session would be put. An outline may be followed, which can be requested from the CFIO (this is exclusive of Balara). This is NOT to be touched unless it is to be filled up or updated. The second column is the Request Date. The date of request for visual aids is to be placed here following the recommended format: (D/M/Y - Time). E.g. (31/07/12 - 10:58 am) The third column is the Quantity of the visual aids. Here the IOs per area will put how many of a particular visual aid they willl be requesting. The format would be as follows: (Number per section/student, Number of sections/students, Quantity total) E.g. (1 per section, 6 sections, 6 total) E.g. (1 per student, 6 sections of 50 students each, 300 total) The fourth column is the Visual Aid Base. The IOs will place where they want the content of their visual aid request to be, such as Manila Paper, Cartolina, Bond Paper, etc. The format would be as follows: (Visual Aid Base) E.g. (Cartolina) E.g. (Half Cartolina) The fifth column is the Visual Aid Content. IOs will put what they want as the content of their visual aid. Kindly try to be as specific as possible. There is no format to be followed but be specific. E.g. (The cartolina is to be divided into four parts, first part would include...) The sixth column is the Materials. Materials that the IOs think are necessary for the area session are placed here. Format would be as follows: (Materials Quantity) E.g. (Masking Tape 3 rolls, Popsicle Stick 500 pieces)

I highly encourage the Instructions Officers to give their opinions and or suggestions on regular basis, when it comes to the teaching sessions. Thank you for your time and I wish you a pleasant day.
