League Description
The Northern Vermont Indoor Soccer league would like to welcome all interested individuals to participate in one of the most popular sports in the world. Indoor soccer is played by many countries around the world. The best soccer clubs and players play indoor soccer because it forces them to play in tight spaces and allows them to get a lot of touches on the ball. This indoor soccer league will be played without boards. It is played on a small surface, the size of a full size basketball court. This game provides the opportunity for individuals to develop the fundamentals of soccer because it mirrors the outdoor game. Many outdoor sessions are based on small sided games that forces players to get more involved in the play and establish more touches on the ball. This league will force players to think, play, and decide faster because it is played in a smaller more defined space. It is great for the development of players touch and technique because it forces you to play simple, quick, and in tight spaces. Therefore, an individuals ball handling and off the ball movement is essential to be successful. This league will promote 1v1 play and accuracy of passing and shots.
