Two Videos are taken by private spectators on the deepest step downhill of the Mountaincourse and 100 Yards later at the second road junction after the point, where the PetrolSuperbikes make big wheelies. This lucky, unorganised moment document, that the crowd enjoys in a kind of electrical hype, no one expected. They do it not for the fastest or first electric race-bikes, they went on overexcited, when the slowest and last without a chance, pass them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkY-kn0J9bc Of cause there are still some small parts of mocking scorn and the laughing is about me and my brave rider Gilbert Shaun. But this laughing is not only about us, this laughing is with us, cause the crowd feel, that we also smile about the provocation we draw with our heart. There is also a little historic moment, that might not easy to be seen. To brake the border of English speed limit on motorway, on secondary roads on the Isle of Man, done by a road legal electric bike. With the freedom of own rules over 1000 years, the Isle of Man demonstrate, what mostly classified as impossible, secondary roads without speed limit. Similar, it seems to be impossible to a electric bike, that looks like a Scooter, was build in China and offers only 6 kW engine power, to runs with it so phenomenal fast. And really, in the standard version, this called InnoScooter offers only 56 miles (90 km/h) top speed. How is it possible to get 89 miles (143 km/h) without tuning the engine? One mystery is the optimal position of speed traps at the TT Zero race. No, it is not the Sulby straight, where they have measured this year the fastest electric Czyzs-bike with 135 mph (217 km/h). The top ICE racer clocks a record speed of 202 miles (325 km). Botton of Bray Hill is the fastest part on the Mountain course for electric bikes. The data system of MotoCzyzs recorded a over all top speed of over 140 mph, witch comes very near to 230 km/h. This is necessary, when full charged Lithium batteries offers extra voltage up to 10% for the first half mile. In combination with a more and more sloping road, the electric bikes reach top speed after only 35-45 seconds from a standing start at the grandstand. The advantage of more power and gravitation at the first mile are the second and third mystery. How can we measure top speed when there was no speed trap? It is possible, when we count the seconds been shown on videos: The first bike shows the seconds with a onboard video of Robert Barber, the winner of last years TTXGP. As you can see, the fastest with yellow ground and the slowest with green ground. 143 km/h top speed is not so bad, when you think, that 12 times more power (75 kW 6 kW) can not doubling top speed. The most astonish fact is the different between Sulby straight 217 km/ h and Bray Hill speed 230 km/h. +13 km/h for the MotoCzysz bike at Bray Hill section is realistic. But 38 km/h more for the little InnoScooter seems to be unbelievable. There are two reasons for the higher difference. Of cause the wind pressure over 230 km/h is proportional stronger than with 143 km/h. The second different depends on the low number of revolutions of the electric hub-engine. A hub-engine has only one turn for each wheel-spin. It reach 1000 turns a minute on Sulby straight and 1300 turns at Bray Hill. All other has separate engines with transmission, chain and cogwheels, rotate between 4000 and 16000 turns a minute. Side effect is a twice as silent road noise for the Hub engine. Over 70 miles (112 km/h), 142 km/h was been reached and this would be the moment, when my rider Gilbert has been disqualified from driving for a period, cause he done marginal speeding (e.g. up to 15mph above the limit) in United Kingdom. God save the Isle of Man. Many boarders limited our life. Some of them are necessary. To reach this speeding boarder in 3,2 seconds like a Yamaha R1 can do it, is this fundamental improvement, when you reach it in 3,1 seconds?
