The CBAA Biznews, in line with its commitment to train advocates of development and innovations through knowledge by promoting nationalism, with the aim to be a human resource development center in order to create an abode of respected leaders and professionals, will be conducting a Journalism Competition: The iamPINOY Project. Acting on its global commitment to help all people achieve health and happiness in their lives by working as an integral member of society, CBAA Biznews proudly sponsors the MILLENNIUM DEVELOPMENT GOALS ONLINE PHOTO CONTEST. The contest challenged people around the world to capture inspirational work underway in developing and developed countries to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), which are intended to eradicate extreme poverty by 2015. The Official Organizations Participants shall consist of not more than 24 photographers. The breakdown is contained in Enclosure No. 2. We believe music videos are the most universal, accessible and entertaining art form in the world. In order to promote Ilocos Region, CBAA Biznews is launching its first MoreFunInIlocos Music Video Competition: Why YOUth choose ILOCOS? This is an opportunity for talented students to have their music videos screened in the university. As part of the Business Week Festival, our team is in partnership with the Organization of Business Administration Students. Requirements 2.1 All entries should be written in English or Filipino. 2.2 The theme will be given in the contest proper. 2.3 All submissions must be original. 2.4 An organization shall have a maximum of three (3) contestants per category. 3. The contestants must have to comply the above requirements. B. Entries will be published to the iamPINOY blogsite (pinoydefinitely.blogspot.com). C. All entries will be submitted to the Department of Tourism.

Note: Any accredited organization in the College of Business Administration and Accountancy that can not send contestants for each category shall pay a fine of Php. 100.00 on each category.

An organization shall have a maximum of three (3) contestant per category. Each contestant must submit one (1) entry for at least one (1) category. REQUIREMENTS 1. Participants shall register on September 14-18, 2012. 1.1.The name of the participant; 1.2 The category to be participated; 1.3 The organization; 1.4 Email address and mobile number 1.5 Submit the names to the CBAA Biznews office 1.6 To register online, log on to http://bit.ly/PPJBXX 3. For the submission of entries, please add some information, like: 2.1 The type of camera you used 2.2 Date and place of the picture taken 2.3 Title, caption (or you may want to provide the story behind the photo) 2. Any accredited organization in the College of Business Administration and Accountancy that can not submit an entry shall pay a fine of Php. 100.00 on each category. TERMS 1. Photos cannot be computer enhanced in any way using graphics software. 2. Do not place watermarks on the photos. HOW DOES THE JUDGING WORK? The photos are judged by the visitors of our page in Facebook. They can vote by liking first the page then the photo that they want to vote. Here are the voting phases: Phase 1: Qualification phase (September 19, 2012). One hundred photos for each category qualify for this phase. Our resident judges will choose 100 photos among the entries.

Phase 2: Shortlist (September 19, 2012). From 100 photos, people around the world will choose 10 official finalists for each category for the third phase. Phase 3: Finalist phase (September 20, 2012). People will choose three winners for each category from the FINAL 10. No entries shall be announced first, second, or third placers. Phase 4: BIG 3 Photojournalism Competition (Business Week Festival 2013). Those three winners from each category will compete for one title, 1THE ONE. GENERAL MECHANICS The contestants must have to comply the above requirements. It will be submitted to the United Nations Development ProgramPhilippines. IMPLEMENTING RULES AND REGULATIONS (IRR) IN CONDUCT OF THE MUSIC VDEO COMPETITION STUDENT CATEGORY An original music video (a visual accompaniment and/or representation of a piece of music, generally between 3-4 minutes in length) created by a student currently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program. Open to high school entries. AMATEUR CATEGORY An original music video (a visual accompaniment and/or representation of a piece of music, generally between 3-4 minutes in length) that follows a traditional narrative structure (tells a sequential story). PROFESSIONAL CATEGORY An original, animated music video (a visual accompaniment and/or representation of a piece of music, generally between 3-4 minutes in length) of either a narrative or non-narrative format, Stop-Motion, 2-D, 3-D, and Computer animated. GENERAL RULES Music videos must be available for screening at the Music Video Festival, on September 25, 2012. CBAA Biznews reserves the right to change submission categories and prizes at their discretion. * Filmmakers and musicians entering videos into the festival must possess the legal rights to submit AND screen their work. Any accredited organization in the College of Business Administration and Accountancy that can not submit an entry shall pay a fine of Php. 1,000.00. Videos will be uploaded by the organizers on YouTube. The videos are judged by the visitors of our page in Facebook. They can vote by liking first the page then the video they want to vote. Online votes will only cover 30% of the total score. 70% will come from our resident judges.
