Operating principles of Chilled beam systems Active chilled beam systems use primary air that has been pre-cooled using chilled water and dimensioned to fulfil the requirements of good air quality for the occupied area. Induced room air is then cooled or heated by the beam to meet the room requirements.

The 36CB range is a complete range of chilled beams and accessories suitable for ventilation, cooling and heating in all applications including high cooling demands and/or where there is a requirement for individual temperature control.

The 36CB IQID is an integrated system for ventilation, cooling and heating, fulfilling most indoor air requirements: Comfort Control High air flow function (2 rows of holes) Flow pattern control Heating Controls Lighting and provision for a sprinkler system.

The 36CB is truly unique with the FPC (Flow Pattern Control) function that provides high flexibility in new buildings or refurbishments. The combination of FPC and Comfort Control gives the 36CB beam its unique characteristics.
