Basic Properties of Insulation Cores

1. PUR: Rigid Poly urethane foam is the most popular, widely used, ideal insulator. It is thermosetting material when exposed to fire, does not drip or melt; forms a strong carbonaceous char that protects the core and prevents spread of flame. Additions of FR agents further augment fire retardant properties. It is CFC free & self extinguishing. Conforms to IS-12436-88. 2. PIR: Polyisocyanurate foam offers higher fire rating and is non-ignitable. Better closed cell structure offered by trimerisation process offers better thermal performance. It is CFC Free, longer lasting, hygienic and food safe. Ideal for Cold Rooms. 3. Mineral Wool: Also known as rock wool & Stone wool is a naturally occurring fibre with very high temperature resistantce properties. It is fire proof, emits no smoke or gases, is water repellant & Non-capillary. The process re-orientation of vertical fibre structure imparts high Shear, Compressive and Tensile strength, thus making the Panels strong and stable. Rock wool with excellent acoustic properties is chemically neutral, vermin proof, re-cyclable and bio degradable .Ideal for Partitions, Internal walls, Acoustic Insulation, and FR & HT applications for Power Plants etc. Conforms to IS-8183. The cores are incorporated into metal faced sandwich system, wherein the protection provided by facings, joints, fixings, & the support system greatly modify the fire performance of the core than in isolation as a material Detailed technical data sheets are available on request

Thermo-Shield-Strupan
Strupan is a structural Panel having a Trapezoidal profile on top side and a ribbed liner tray on underside with insulation Core sandwiched. The alternative i.e. Construction of in-situ single skin or double skin Insulated panels is a messy, cumbersome, inefficient, time consuming and inelegant system that is ineffective. There is no match for factory made panels which alone can ensure precise dimensions strict quality control and bulk supplies. Strupan Panels provide effective insulation, which is efficient and long lasting. Strong bonding of insulation core gives added structural stability to facilitate higher loadings and wider spannability Top & Bottom skins being isolated from each other, there is no thermal bridge. Strupan is highly suitable for energy efficient, comfortable, faster construction with cost effectiveness. Strupan has a few special features which are unique, such as; a) The bottom liner is configured with return leg-n-groove to provide for a snug overlap and a tight seal b) The Panel is supplied with a peelable layer of foam under the overlap to prevent distortion of the panel. c) Panels are supplied in customized lengths subject to transport limitations. d) Panels are packed in bundles on skids & wrapped with polyfilm to prevent damage during handlings and storage. Strupan assures high quality finish, accelerated construction, reliable thermal performance, no gaps and no risk of interstietial condensation .Even in relatively flat roofs with 3 slope, there is no risk of any leakage. In addition to the Panels, a complete range of accessories such as Skylights, Flashings & Trims, Joineries & Fasteners, Foam fillers, Sealants & Mastics, Kerbs are also offered.

Thermo Shield - Coldwell

Coldwell Panels are unique tongue-n-groove joinery for air tight, effective panel-to-panel interlocking that is easy to install and provides effective seal. Two types of Panels, single groove and double groove systems are offered. While single groove panel is suited for general purpose wall applicatbns in buildings & shelters, Double groove Panel is recommended for Cold Room and Cold Chamber applications that need sub-zero internal temperatures. Double groove alignment ensures precise interlocking, dimensional accuracy, and also eliminates risk of air gaps and thermal bridges. Panels are immune from attack from mould, fungi, mildew& vermin, thus hygienic & food safe. Coldwell Panels in higher thicknesses are self supporting free standing up to 6 meters. Floor to wall& Roof to wall joints are with C-Channel flashings. Structural framing is not always necessary. Panels in customized lengths are supplied packed in bundles on skids and wrapped in polyfilm to prevent damage enroute and at site.

Thermo Shield - Isoclad

Isoclad range of Panels with unique concealed fixing joinery systems are an Architect's dream come true for facade cladding and wall applications for all types of buildings including high rise commercial complexes, Office buildings, Malls, Business centers etc. Structurally stable, strong yet light, weather proof, maintenance free, air-tight, Insulated Panels in variety of finishes are suited as Walls and Facade cladding. There is no need for a brick wall. Relatively thinner Panels acting as walls provide more internal space vis-a-vis alternate materials such as RCC/Brick walls, thus increase the rate of economic returns. In these days of skyrocketing real estate prices& rentals, it is a significant factor. Isoclad Panels can act as partition walls as well as facade cladding with permanent finish and can be integrated well with structural glazing, curtain walls, windows and other type of fenestrations and openings. Panels are supported with complete accessories, flashings, trims, joineries, fastening systems etc. Variety of Insulation Cores and fully integrated sealed construction ensures excellent fire safety and thermal performance.
