Introduction
Statistics is the study of the collection, organization, analysis, and interpretation of data.[1][2] It deals with all aspects of this, including the planning of data collection in terms of the design of surveys and experiments. A statistician is someone who is particularly well versed in the ways of thinking necessary for the successful application of statistical analysis. Such people have often gained this experience through working in any of a wide number of fields. There is also a discipline called mathematical statistics that studies statistics mathematically. Statisticians contribute to scientific enquiry by applying their knowledge to the design of surveys and experiments; the collection, processing, and analysis of data; and the interpretation of the results. .Statisticians may apply their knowledge of statistical methods to a variety of subject areas, such as
biology, economics, engineering, medicine, public health, psychology, marketing, education, and sports. Many economic, social, political, and military decisions cannot be made without statistical techniques, such as the design of experiments to gain federal approval of a newly manufactured drug

ii) For
students , the standard for a normal pulse is 60 to 100 beats per minute. As the students are in resting mode , their pulse rate is slower which is the standard pulse for a teenager and an adult. So, its confirmed when its compared to the standard pulse rate the pulse rate before step up board activity is same and equal.
