Definitions

To be ALARMED is to be possessed with a sudden fear which is usually caused by the realization of danger. A storm is anything that attempts to or seeks to: 1. Steal our JOY 2. Cause HOPELESSNESS

3. And ultimately attacks our FAITH in GOD

What causes fear and panic (ALARM) among believers or God's people? cause of Fear and Unbelief among God's people when storms arise.

Jesus makes it very clear from Matt 14:27-33 and Matt. 8:23-27 that, little or inadequate FAITH is always the

Mat 14:31 . O you of little faith, why did you doubt? "

Mat 8:26 But He said to them, Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?" ."
So it is very crucial for us as Christians to take cognizance of the fact that we are FAITH people; and we must do all that we can to keep our FAITH in God Alive and on the increase.

Paul said;

2 Cor 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

Jesus said;

Mark 11:22 So Jesus answered and said to them, Have faith in God ". of God?

John 11:40 Jesus said to her, Did I not say to you that if you would believe (have FAITH), you would see the glory

If little Faith will cause fear in time of storm, then, the cure is to have Sufficient or Adequate or Strong or unmovable FAITH in God to become FEARLESS and COURAGEOUS in time of Storm. How can we have FAITH? What is the Source of the believer's FAITH?

Rom. 10:17 So then FAITH comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

A man of great/strong Faith is a man of deep knowledge in the Word of God. A man of great/strong Faith is

FEARLESS in time of storm.

We must become lovers of God's word to grow our Faith in God.

Psalm 119:97 Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day.

Regular and effective hearing, studying and obedience to the word of God will do two things to the believer; which will eventually make him fearless and conqueror in time of storm.

1. When you study and obey the word of God you become Knowledgeable about who God is, what He has made us in Christ and how to make use of the weapons available to us Christians to conquer in time of storm (warfare).

Knowledge in Gods Word will make you Stronger than the Storm .
Strength is very necessary in times of Storm/adversity

Prov. 24:10 If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.

Prov. 24:5 A wise man is strong, Yes, a man of knowledge increases strength

Dan. 11:32b ".. But the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits." 2. When you hear/study and obey the word of God, you secure God's PRESENCE. If God is with you, Storms rather becomes AFRAID of you because God calms every storm.

John 14:21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be

loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him. John 14:23 Jesus answered and said to him, If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

If God is with you, No Storm can overwhelm you

You are Stronger than the Storm because your God calms all Storms
