Why I feel this job is right for me: I am offered to be the Chairman of Student Exchange Program on Research, which is newly established in a joint venture of 4 persons including me, who are the students of Masters' Degree of Tribhuwan University (TU), under the guidance and assistance of some of the professors of TU like; Dr. Anand Sharma and S.K. The organization also assists the students for doing research on the problems emerging from poverty, socio-political factors, castism, etc in Nepal. My work in the organization is to manage overall things, esp. making contact with HR NGOs and INGOs in Nepal for contributing research conducts. After evaluating the exposures, expected to be performed by the applicant for the vacancy of Admin. Assistant, I found my ToR as an Admin. and Media Assistant in NHRC is quite comparable and I thought of applying for the post. My abroad knowledge on student exchange program and my enthusiasm for further information in this field will certainly be broadened, if I get entry to foreign affairs, like British Embassy. So far concerning on my responsibilities, here in NHRC, are mostly to be handled the press issues in no time. When news is reported to the Media Unit of the NHRC, I need to be ready to issue, even it is late hour too. Another tough work that I carry out is to download news and reports in NHRC website. Working as one of the editorial members for the NHRC E-bulletin, is full of high responsibility as it is circulated thousands of persons and organizations. As I belong to Media Unit, which is within Promotion Division of NHRC, I have to manage and conduct the trainings time and again. As I am Admin Assistant too, managerial work of logistics, making schedule for workshops, reviewing budget for the programs fall within my responsibility. Besides these all, I am currently handling the job of translator/interpreter in various NHRC programs as well as I am translating Nepali documents into English and vice versa. To me working in your organization is the matter of glory and a big opportunity of learning where I suppose that there are waiting a boundless opportunities for the students, like me. Although working in the NHRC is a matter of high prestige, I select British Embassy as I think it is a platform of yielding foreign knowledge in abundant.
