Associated Student Government Application for Executive Cabinet 2012-2013


The application period for the ASG Executive Cabinet is from August 20th until September 11th. The Executive Cabinet is open to all University of Arkansas students. Cabinet appointments will be for one academic year. Any questions should be referred to Tori Pohlner, ASG President at asgpres@uark.edu. All information must be accurate and complete or your application will not be processed. Applications must be returned to ARKU A665 by September 11th by noon. Interviews will be conducted for some of the applicants. 7. The elected Executives ran on the slogan, "Experience to Lead, Passion to Achieve". Please explain how you can mirror this mentality as a member of Cabinet. By signing this document I acknowledge and agree to the following (please note the dates & commitments to attend the following): 1. I hereby give my consent to the Office of Student Activities (OSA) and the Office of Academic Integrity and Student Conduct (OAISC) to examine my academic and disciplinary records for the purpose of verifying that I meet the requirements for participation in co-curricular activities(GPA of 2.25 and enrolled in at least 12 hours as an undergraduate or 6 hours as a graduate student). 2. I understand that I must attend a mandatory All ASG Retreat during the Fall semester. 3. I understand that if selected as a Cabinet Member I will be responsible for all duties assigned to my position. 4. I understand that as a Cabinet Member I will be responsible for attending Cabinet/Commission meetings from 5:00-6:00pm on Tuesdays. 5. I understand that as an appointed member of ASG, I am held to a higher standard and I will abide by the ASG Standard of Ethics (Outlined in the ASG Constitution, Article VII).
