2. a) What are the objectives of Method Study?
b) Define “Ergonomics” and discuss the ergonomics aspects of a two wheeler/four-
wheeler dash board design.
3. a) What do you mean by “Work Content”?
b) The elemental time recorded on a time study sheet by snap-back method for a
single manual work element indicates the following times in decimal minutes:

premium system for the whole day (i.e., for 8 hours of work)

b) The normal cycle time for an operation is 1.14 minutes. It is estimated that 405
minutes of 480 minutes day are available to the operator for production purposes.
Determine the standard time and the number of pieces for a standard hour.

8. a) What are the different steps taken by safety organization to control accidents?
