ANIMALS
Animals are one of the basic groups of life on Earth. All animals share a set of fundamental characteristicsthey move, they feed on other organisms and they reproduce. The blue whale is the largest animal alive today. Animals have basic needs for air, water, food, shelter, and space. Animals live in habitats all over that are suited for them. Animals have a variety of similarites and differences; some are alike in what they look like, what they do, what they eat, and where they live; while others are very different from one another.

Mammals People are mammals. If an animal drinks milk when it is a baby and has hair on its body, it belongs to the mammal class. EX: Dogs, Cats, Horses, dolphins and whales Insects Insects have certain characteristics. They have six legs. They have three body parts, a head, a thorax and an abdomen. They have wings. EX: Butterfly, Bees, Ants Animals can also be divided into the following groups: Carnivores A carnivore meaning 'meat eater' is an animal with a diet consisting mainly of meat, whether it comes from animals living or dead Herbivores A herbivore is any organism that normally consumes only plants Omnivores Omnivores are the animals who eat both animals and plants. Humans are omnivorous as they take vegetables and meat.
Many animals share the same habitat because they are from the same group. The picture below shows different habitats with different animals in each one!
TYPES OF HABITATS
If each person adopted just one of these plans starting today, we will be able to save mor animals for our future generation. Saying you care and wanting to help changes nothing. You must do something.
