The Truth of Sea Wave

Bad weather and prolonged rainfall during 2010-2012 will affect the fate of the fishermen caught getting worse. If there are no serious solutions to save their economic conditions, at least five million fishermen arrested in Indonesia threatened to be poor, Said Vice Chairman of the DPC II HNSI Cilacap (nasional.kompas.com). In Tegal, more than 150 traditional fishing boats do not go to sea due to high waves about 2-3 meters in the Java Sea. On the other hand, according to Secretary-General in District KUD Mina Kramat, Tegal Regency, Warnadi, almost the entire price of basic commodities are now rises. "If not supported, how fishermen can pay for daily living. Our income is only from fish caught, "he said This Conditions causes fish prices is rise up. Price of small tuna usually Rp 3,000-Rp 5,000 per head and now Rp 9,000 per head. Price of tuna fish per kilogram from Rp 20,000 to Rp 27,000 a kilogram. Based on anthropocentrique view that human as a center of this case feel suffer because they cant get fish anymore because the high of sea waves. Human as a center of this problem feel that they lose out of financial causes the sea waves and threatened to be poor man because they dont have income anymore. But, if we use Eco Centrism that environment as a center for this problem. Sea wave always occurred in the sea because the sea must have period to increase their Dissolve Oxygen (DO) to support the sea organism. So, if the sea wave doesnt occurred the sea organism such as: fish and another organism in the sea will be dead. Deep ecology Deep ecology emphasizes the utilization of natural resources and more meaningful and depth (Naess, 1986, the Shambala 1995 in Suryadarma). Utilization of the increased sensitivity needs and not wants. Based on point deep ecology number 3 said that Humans do not have a mandate to reduce the richness and diversity, except for the guarantee of their basic needs. From this view we can learn that we must utilization more meaningful and appropriate with our need the resources from sea. In this case the fisherman just utilize without maintain and preserve the resources.

.So, there are so many perceptions for this topic; if we view from human concern it called Anthropocentric. If we view from environment (abiotic factor) concern it called Eco centric, and if we view from the organism concern it called Bio centric. All the profit and loss issues that occur in this world depend on the perceptions and views. So, we can learn the law of return of nature and platform of deep ecology (Arness, 1986 in Suryadarma)
