Tools for repositories, sellers, and collectors interested in facilitating recovery efforts
Guidelines for identifying alienated historical records

Dozens of downloadable guides, templates, and presentations supporting static content
Who Steals? section outlining the problem of historical records theft, with new statistical
information and detailed case studies
Planned eight workshops across New York State, assisting with session delivery, scheduling, development
of materials, registration, and evaluation.
o Recruited and trained 130 participants broadly representative of the historical records
community.
o Received cumulative workshop rating of 91.25%.
Forged strong partnerships with the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) Holdings
Protection and Archival Recovery Teams, leading to the scheduling of additional training opportunities
facilitated by NARA staff.
Reported efforts to National Historical Publications and Records Commission, State Historical Records
Advisory Board, Archives staff, project partners and records community.
