Dear Sir/Madam, KINDLY KEEP MY IDENTITY SECRET AND DO NOT REVEAL IT I would like to bring to your kind notice through this mail about the :(I) huge illegal coal mining being carried out in and around our area since past 5 years or so. (II) The effects of the illegal coal mining on our local nature. (III) The effects of the illegal mining on the local people and their livelihood. (IV) The rampant loots by all the government officers in power posted in the district administration and the local police stations. (V) The impact on the growth of the local market due to inflow of the black money generated through these illegal coal mines. (VI) The increase of unlawful activities such as robbery, dadagiri, road-side collection form truck owners, abusive drunkenness, etc, and (VII) Failure of the Police in maintaining law and order as they are the primary beneficiary in this huge black business, etc, There are several persons involved in this black business, though, I would name a few persons who have made a joke of the government system (the anti-corruption team of the State and of the Centre) towards curving corruption. Actually they are not afraid at all, as they know that these agencies can do nothing to them, even if they are caught on the wrong foot, because they have huge money power. West Bengal 723 121 (The areas where these mines can be found are in and around : Madhukunda, Balitora village, Mokara, Paradiya, Bakoliya, Neturia, Sunuri, Murulia) COMPANY NAME: (This is the company/syndicate formed by below-mentioned three person, under the guise of which the huge mining is taking place, and the whole black money being generated is being converted to white in the book of this company) MANIKAN DEVKAN PVT. LTD. HEAD OFFICE : VILLAGE BALITORA/MADHUKUNDA DIST PURULIA POST - MURULIA WEST BENGAL 723 121 OWNERS OF THE COMPANY ARE: GURUPADA MAJI, (Age 40 yrs) KANAI MAJI, (Age 35 yrs) AKSHAY MAJI, (Age 35 yrs) ALL OF THEM ARE RESIDENT OF : VILLAGE BALITORA, POST MURULIA, DISTRICT PURULIA, WEST BENGAL 723 121. In my estimation they have made an asset of not less than Rs. 10,000 Cores in a span of 8 years out of this Black Money. All government senior officers namely the then/and the present District Magistrate, Superintendent of Police, Dy. Superintendent of Police, SDPO Raghunathpur, Officer-inCharge of Santuri Police Station and Neturia Police Station were/are beneficiary of this Black Money as they get their share at the end of each month for keeping quite on the matter or for avoiding attention on the complaints on the matter.

Even now the mining is taking place, and these aforesaid officers are keeping silence on the issue and not taking any action. They are basically acting as chamchas to this coal-mafias and 100% they will reach these mafias house at the end of each month to collect their share in government vehicles (Taxi Ambassador) these shameless creatures. These three coal mafias have formed syndicates and are operating in such a way, so that the coal they mined could be transported to various locations without any checks or government balance. This was done by a system they call as PAD. They issue PAD to the vehicle transporting the coal and this document acts like a government challan/pass towards transporting the coal from place A to place B without any problem. The Police Stations in different parts of the state recognize the particular PAD and they let go the vehicle the same is produced to them. They charge a minimum of Rs. 900.00 (Nine Hundred Only) towards issuing these PADS for each ton of coal, to the sub-party, who then transports the coal to other places without any fear. Like this they have made a minimum of Rs. 10,000 Corers asset (if put together). About 160 FIRs and cases are registered against each ones name in the local police station and the Police has not conducted even a single investigation in the matter yet. On the other hand our area has suffered a lot due to this illegal mining. They have changed the society as a whole. People have become addicted to easy money/black money. They have forgot the basic difference between good and bad. The underground water layer has depleted so much so that we find it difficult to get good water in our area. The bore well and the traditional well are now devoid of water in the early summer and this happened never before. Irrigation has suffered tremendously, as the paddy fields do not hold water now, so we cannot plough our fields for paddy any more. There is always a potential threat due to land slides out of earth quake, since the entire area is now hollow. You cannot even think of it how badly the area has been mined. More that about 5000 to 8000 ( estimated ) small/medium/large illegal coal mines in and around the area. If you go inside them you will notice how ruthlessly the mining has taken place in this area. The assets they have made is quite apparent from the number property they own now, the number of trucks ( 06 wheeler, 10 wheeler, 12, 18, 20, 22 wheeler ) they own

now. No to speak about their number of JCBs , Road Roller, Oil Tankers, Water Browsers, Concrete mixing machines, High Capacity alternators/generators, cars ( luxury, etc..), number of flats at Kolkata, Asansol, Neamethpur, Kulti, Barakar, Asansol Kolkata Highway, Biharinath Pahar, in their place of residence, etc the list is endless. The private company under the leadership of GURUPADA MAJI is now constructing a tourism site at BIHARINATH PAHAR, about 5 km from Madhukunda Railway Station, Dist- Bankura, to convert their black money into white. The tourism site encircles an area of about 15 ACERS of land at the base of the BIHARINATH MOUNTAIN , reinforced with concrete 20 inch boundary walls. They are now planting trees which are 10 to 15 years old to beautify the place and promote tourism. These trees are being dug along with their roots and transported by trucks to the site, where they are being planted. GURUPADA MAJI himself has admitted that the project cost is not less than Rs. 200 corers, excluding the price of the land. If you would to verify the facts yourself, you may visit our place and ask the locals, or even ASK THEM TO PRODUCE THEIR 8 YEAR TAX FILE RECORDS, and everything would be like BLACK & WHITE in front of you. In view of the above, it is humbly requested that an investigation be initiated against these three persons for corruption and black money, and suitable steps be taken against them as per the law, if the facts are found to be true in your humble observations.
