faith. Mark 11:22-25 says:

22

And Jesus *answered saying to them, Have faith in God. 23 Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, Be taken up and cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. 24 Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you. 25 Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions. Faith is not faith until it is tested. God is the source and faith is His hand, I am anticipating and expecting the promises of God to manifest in your lives this year. The Lord told me that the people are going to have to take their faith to another level. No longer falling for the tricks of the devil but walking in the power of God. It is extremely imperative to demonstrate behaviors of faith in order to obtain all that God has for you.

My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings.21 Do not let them depart from your sight; Keep them in the midst of your heart. 22 For they are life to those who find them And health to all their body. 23 Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life. We must give our children the opportunity to see Gods grace and power working in our lives. After weve done all we can do, its up to them to receive. Momma and Daddy will continue to pray for their children, but sooner or later -- YOU HAVE TO KNOW HIM FOR YOURSELF.
I really love my family, so about 10 years ago I decided to stop referring to the things that I did or gave up for my children (and my husband) as a sacrifice. Instead, I started referring to those things as investments and seeds. And how many of you know that I EXPECT A RETURN on every investment Ive made! My children are good ground and I EXPECT A HARVEST! Hallelujah!! There have been times of disappointment and loss, but God has always proven Himself faithful. As my children pursue their degrees, careers, relationships, etc, I pray that they will do it in ways that please God and bring Him glory. Nothing could make me happier than getting reports that my children continue diligently in the way of Truth! (The Message) ~Lady Paula

Proverbs 4
New American Standard Bible (NASB)

A Fathers Instruction
Hear, O sons, the instruction of a father, And give attention that you may gain understanding, 2 For I give you sound teaching; Do not abandon my instruction. 3 When I was a son to my father, Tender and the only son in the sight of my mother, 4 Then he taught me and said to me, Let your heart hold fast my words; Keep my commandments and live; 5 Acquire wisdom! Acquire understanding! Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth. 6 Do not forsake her, and she will guard you; Love her, and she will watch over you. 7 The beginning of wisdom is: Acquire wisdom; And with all your acquiring, get understanding. 8 Prize her, and she will exalt you; She will honor you if you embrace her. 9 She will place on your head a garland of grace; She will present you with a crown of beauty. 10 Hear, my son, and accept my sayings And the years of your life will be many. 11 I have directed you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in upright paths. 12 When you walk, your steps will not be impeded; And if you run, you will not stumble. 13 Take hold of instruction; do not let go. Guard her, for she is your life.

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth. 3John 1:4 (NIV) This has been an exciting spring and summer for the Woodfolk Home. Both of my babies have graduated and are moving forward. Brittany graduated from the University of Virginia in May and is working while pursuing a Masters in Professional Counseling. Justin graduated from Monticello High School in June and is playing soccer at Shenandoah University while pursuing a Bachelors in Kinesiology. Wow! GOD IS GOOD As happy as I am about those accomplishments, they dont compare to the joy I have in knowing that my children have their own personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Titus 2 tells us that it is the responsibility of godly parents and other spiritually mature Christians to teach the younger generation the ways of godliness and holiness through sound doctrine.
