INTRODUCTION

Given an opportunity to increase Victoria Companys performance, our marketing team is very pleased to take over this opportunity. We have designed product to be presented in front of all members of the Board Director. Our products name is Bio Care Sanitary Pad. Bio Care Sanitary Pad is a bio sanitary napkins / pads & pantyliners made from natural ingredients. We believe Bio Care Sanitary Pad can increase Victoria Companys performance by increasing its revenue and profit from the sales of Bio Care Sanitary Pad. In order to get approval from the authorized Board Directors of Victoria Company, herewith we submit our proposal for their kind consideration. The purpose of this proposal is to introduce Bio Care Sanitary Pad by providing full information about Bio Care Sanitary Pad in the following chapter.

CONTENT

1. Background ( Marketing Analysis)

Breast cancer and cervical cancer are the number one fear for every woman. Not only the breast and cervical cancer, but other women might also experience health problems such uterus cancer, ovarian cancer, fibroids, endometriosis, genital warts, bacterial infection, menstrual pains, yellowish/ white discharge, bloated stomach, irregular period, back pains during period, and etc. The main reason that cause women to have all of these health problems are the use of sanitary napkins (pads) & pantyliners that contain Dioxin (Toxin). Women have been using pads & pantyliners with over 35 years of their life. Women also never thought the pad & pantyliners could be dangerous. Generally, these industries (pad-making, diapers-making industry) are not governed or monitored (like food or electrical items), meaning they do not have a health standard or other criteria that they have to fulfill. Thus, it can be made out of whatever. Before the pads & pantyliners are introduced to market nowadays, twenty to thirty years ago women used cloth made out of cotton and not recycled waste. However, the pads & pantyliners that women are using nowadays are actually made from recycled waste such as old boxes and papers. The recycled waste goes through a highly chemical bleaching process to make it white and softer. In addition, the chemicals-used produce a highly toxic poison called dioxin to the pads & pantyliners. International expert research on Cancer, World Health Organization (WHO) states that the dioxin can cause cancer by attacking and weakening human immunity system. There are also many reports and articles published on how dangerous pads & pantyliners are. Women have not found out the solution for this issue, but now we provide the solution for every women by introducing Bio Care Sanitary Pad.

2. Product
Bio Care Sanitary Pad is uniquely formulated bio sanitary pad with 100% cotton and sensitivity free. It is made from safe and quality materials. Most important, it does not contain fluorescence, bleaching agent (chlorine), dioxin or any other dangerous material. It contains special formula of natural herbs that helps women to get rid of many perplexing problems. The product quality is guaranteed and all the raw materials, manufacturing processes and the final products are guaranteed to achieve the level of hygiene standards. Bio Care Sanitary Pad are also packaged in resealable food-grade, hygienic aluminum foil and each pad in a fully sealed wrapping inside. Unlike our traditional pads, being completely sealed keeps sanitary napkin safe from mildew, fungus and bacteria from storing under bathroom sink, in purse, and etc. No recycled, chemical treated materials are used in Bio Care sanitary napkins so there are no toxins present to be absorbed by our body. 2.1 Product Introduction ( Name & Logo / symbol) Our products name is Bio Care Sanitary Pad. Bio means our product is a bio sanitary pad made from natural ingredients and Care means we care about our consumers health because our product does not contain any recycled wastes that are harmful to humans body. In addition, our tagline Natural Way to Healthy Life means in order to help our customers for having a healthy life, we provide products with natural ingredients. Our logo / symbol is a leaf with the phrase Bio Care Sanitary Pad and Natural Way to Healthy Life inside it. The symbol of leaf means our products concept is about natural product which is also our products characteristic. 2.2 Product Ingredients Bio Care Sanitary Pad is made of five main ingredients as per listed below. 1. Mai Fang Stone (Talcum) It will help to absorb and kill microorganism and bacteria in our large intestine, mercury and other impurities. Able to deodorize and prevent infection.

2. Pappermint (Menthae Herb) Relieves bloated stomach, heat and itchiness, act as pain killer and reduces uncomfortable feeling during menstruation. Provides comfortable and cooling effects. Pappermint also can release tension. 3. Ming Fang (Alumen) Acts as detoxification agent, kill worms, anti-bacteria, acts as antiseptic, relieves itchiness, relieves bloated stomach and remove blood clot from uterus. 4. Bing Pian (Borneol) Relieves menstrual pain, tension, helps in blood circulation. anti-inflammatory and prevents infection 5. The surface layer is made of 100% cotton, second layer works to relieve menstrual discomforts, third layer embance softness and freshness, the forth layer contains Super Absorbent Polymer (S.A.P) Particles, which provide high absorbent function and keep it dry, fifth layer also embance softness and freshness, sixth layer is ventilated layer for better ventilation and the bottom layer conforms with human ergonomics. 3. Market Segmentation and Targeting

Our product is targeted for middle and upper social classes in Indonesia especially Medan. In the future, we are aiming to enter the international market nearby our country such as Malaysia & Singapore. Our target markets are divided into three categories. 1. Women from 15 years old to 50 years old are our first target market as they experience the menstruation period every month. 2. Women above 50 years old as they experience the menopause or menopausal women. 3. Men from 20 years old and above as they are having a family. We use undifferentiated marketing strategy by offering one product to the whole target market. We choose this marketing strategy because we focus on the BIO-sanitary pad in which there are less competitors in the field for they offer general sanitary pad instead of BIO-sanitary pad.

CONCLUSION

Our marketing team presents Bio Care Sanitary Pad. Bio Care Sanitary Pad is sanitary pads & pantyliners which provide comfortable and healthy for all consumers. This sanitary pad contains natural ingredients which can help to prevent and cure several health problems as stated before. There are three types of our product which are pantyliners, normal flow (day use) and heavy flow (night use). Our product is targeted for three different categories from women to men especially in productive years. In addition, our product characteristic and specialization is Bio Care Sanitary Pad is not only for women but it also can be used for men. By giving all the complete information of our products in this proposal, we expect the Board Directors can give us the opportunity to increase Victoria Companys performance by allowing our marketing team to produce and market this product to society.
