OUTPUT OF DESIGN PARAMETER frame spacing length and location of collision bulkhead length and location of stern bulkhead length and location of engine room bulkhead length and location of cargohold bulkhead height of double bottom height of stern and collision Floor Weight of Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) Volume HFO Tank allowance Volume HFO weight of Diesel Oil (DO) Volume DO tank weight of Lubricating Oil (LO) Volume LO tank weight of Provision and Crew Weight of the Requirement of Fresh water for eat and drink Weight of the Requirement of Fresh water for Bath and Wash Weight of the Requirement of Fresh water for Cooking Weight of the Requirement of Fresh water for Main Engine Weight of the Requirement of Fresh water for Auxiliary Engine Calculate Total Weight of Fresh Water Supplies Volume Ballast Tank DETAIL CALCULATION Calculate frame spacing On Bureau Veritas Part b, Volume 1, Chapters 4, Section 1.2.1 there is a rule that in ships greater than 120 m in length, the bottom is, to be longitudinally framed. So, in this calculation, due to the length of this ship less than 120 m (117 m), we use the Transversely framed double bottom system Basically Bureau Veritas (BV) have no regulation special or formula to calculate frame spacing. But if observed on BV Part b, Volume 1, Chapters 4, section 5.2 about Plate Floor, where on that part is worded implicitly that distance among plate floor may not exceed 3 m. And according to condition generalizing at field is gotten from BV Part b, Volume 1, Chapters 4, section 5 that formation plate floor is (PF OF OF PF) one that available 3 frame spacing between Plate Floor that. So of statement upon can be concluded that one of the ways determine frame spacing is by: FS = 3 / 3 = 1 m = 1000 mm And is known that frame spacing determination may not exceed the value above. In process designs this therefore taken by frame spacing as value: 700 mm Meanwhile for frame spacing on engine room was taken to assess: 700 mm

b.

Calculate collision bulkhead Based on BV Part b, Chapter 2, section 1 (2.1. 1 ) , declared for that position collision bulkhead is 5% from Lpp until 8% to Fore Perpendicular (behind FP) , so: Distance minimum = 5% x LBP = 5.65 m where, Distance maximum = 8% x LBP = 9.04 m LBP = 113.00 m in this design of ship collision bulkhead is placed on distance 6.1 m behind FP because parallel with frame spacing

c.

Determination Stern Bulkhead Class withholds special formula for it (BV Part b, Ch 2, Sect 1 (3.1. 1 ). Just only, named that deep its situating shall be adjusted by distance (long) of axis tube length that is plotted. In this case, partition stern nook to be placed on ninth frame of AP. Where does AP constitute position of number frame 0. * so, position of Afterpeak bulkhead = 11 x 600 = 6600 mm * position afterpeak bulkhead in frame is 11

d.

Determination engine room bulkhead Bulkhead on front of engine room depend on the length of engine room, where is engine room length is optimation function of volume the need of length room and engine room layout, transmission system, auxiliary engine, pumps and other equipments in it, to spatial volume loads. In this case engine room length is made as minimal as maybe appropriate aughts instrumental dimension. Base data already being gotten while common strategical count, therefore engine room length is taken 21 frame spacing. Where is front engine room bulkhead be determined on frame no.30. I. so length engine room is : 21 x 700 = 14700 mm = 14.7 m II. position bulkhead engine room in frame no 30.

e.

Calculate cargohold bulkhead

(B.V PartB, Chapter 2, Sec 1)

Based on table, cargo hold plan becomes four part where among engine room bulkhead with collision bulkhead available 3 across bulkhead, amongst those: - Position Cargo Hold Watertight Bulkhead I in number frame 65 Length of cargo hold (Cargo hold I) = 35 frame spacing x 700 mm = 24500 mm - Position Cargo Hold Watertight Bulkhead II in number frame. 99 Length of cargo hold (Cargo hold II) = 34 frame spacing x 700 mm = 23800 mm - Position Cargo Hold Watertight Bulkhead III in number frame 131 Length of cargo hold (Cargo hold III) = 32 frame spacing x 700 mm = 22400 mm
3 x 1 0 B 1 0 0 T

- Position Cargo Hold Watertight Bulkhead IV in number frame. 154 (collision bulkhead) Length of cargo hold (Cargo hold IV) = 23 frame spacing x 700 mm = 16100 mm f. Calculate height of Double bottom Rules class B.V Part B,Ch 4, Sec 4 (4.2.1) , the high of double bottom not to be less than numeral one be gotten from formula here under: Hdb = = =
