The Trempealeau Police Department wants to inform everyone that we will be collecting medication to assure it is disposed of properly. This is a great opportunity for those who have subsequently accumulated unwanted, unused prescription drugs, to safely dispose of those medications. This also prevents theft, accidental poisoning of children and pets, and protects the environment. Individuals are asked to bring medication to the Trempealeau Police Department on September 29, 2012 between 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. The Trempealeau Police Department is located in the Village Municipal Building. If you are not able to drop of your medications on the above date, please contact Chief Rick Niedfeldt or Officer Nathan Casper at 608-534-6875 and we will still accept medications throughout the year.
