Im here to deliver my speech about discipline. Why discipline? Because, it is one of important thing we must have to be success person. To be a good student. We know that SMKN 3 Jepara has made some new rules. With score or point for any violation. And well get sanction or punishment if we complete some score. So, dont try to make some problem. Obey the rule and respect the authority. Be discipline and diligent and well be great student. I believe that students of SMKN 3 Jepara are all good student. But, one of the serious problems in here is about come late. Many students still come late although the rule give hard sanction. I know, maybe some of them unlucky, or its just become a habitual. They can make many reasons. And its so easy to make some reason to late. So, as a good student we have to solve this problem. How to not come late. So, we can remove this late habitual. Because it isnt good. Our teacher would not teach some lesson again for late student. So, get up early morning, prepare your self and your stuff, go to school and get into the classroom as soon as possible. But if you late, just accept your destiny, take the permission letter, received the punishment and get into the class. Dont ever truancy. Better late than never. Beside discipline, a good student must be diligent and responsible. Not only in school, house, but everywhere and every time. Discipline in manner, clothing and everything because, young is the time to shape manners. Discipline and respect for authority maybe unfashionable concept. But, lets not be afraid to use that. Because in the end, what matter is the future of us. Finally, lets be discipline and be a good student. Do the best and God do the rest. Firstly, plant a tree. This could be easier than it sounds. Join or help out a local wildlife group and ask to plant a tree. Trees, when fully grown, will help keep the planet cooler. On the same point, you could protest against the demolition of the rainforests. This is the same principle, we need the trees to cool our planet and yet they are chopping them down to create roads or homes. Something as simple as walking instead of taking the car will help reduce pollution. As well as stopping pollution, you are giving yourself exercise, something important for our bodies. So the next time you get into your car, or your motorbike, think - do I have to make this journey by vehicle or can I walk? When you are at home, and your getting a little cold. Put a jumper on and do not adjust the heating. The extra heat produced by our homes also affects the planet. So try wearing an extra layer in winter. If possible, buy your fruit and vegetables from local suppliers. And try to avoid imported goods. The more foreign food that we import the more pollution from aeroplanes and boats it will create. Keeping to the speed limit can also help the environment. The more you speed the more petrol you are going to use, making the pollution higher. Also, SUVs make about six times their own weight in CO2 each year. A small efficient diesel car covering the same distance not only uses much less fuel; it makes two thirds less. If possible use solar energy, after all it is free; all you need to buy is the equipment. You can get much of your hot water and heating from the sun and even generate electricity. Reduce, reuse and recycle. Only buy what you need; dont stock the cupboards with things you may or may not use. Reuse whatever you can, like containers and paper, and recycle what you cannot reuse. It really is as simple as that. Finally turning off unused sources of power such as televisions and heaters will help the environment, as well as save you money. If everybody stuck to these rules, we would be doing a great thing by protecting the earth. So please take into consideration what I have said, and try to do your part. Global Warming Global warming is one of the most serious challenges facing us today. To protect the health and economic well-being of current and future generations, we must reduce our emissions of heat-trapping gases by using the technology, know-how, and practical solutions already at our disposal. Tropical deforestation is the largest source of emissions for many developing countries, but slowing deforestation can't solve the climate problem by itself. As forest-rich developing countries step up to take responsibility for reducing their emissions, all industrialized nations should not only support their efforts but, most importantly, reduce their own emissions and lead efforts to avert dangerous climate change. For years we have heard so much about the causes of climate change, that weve missed the fact that there are simple, practical solutions that can slow this growing problem. Technologies exist today that can cut emissions of heat-trapping gases and make a real difference in the health of our planet. And these solutions will be good for our economy, reduce our dependence on foreign oil, and enhance our energy security. Global warming doesnt just mean balmy February days in northern climes. It also means increasingly hot days in the summer, and a host of negative impacts that are already under way and are expected to intensify in the coming decades. -More heat waves will likely increase the risk of heat-related illnesses and deaths. -Cities and towns along the nation's major rivers will experience more severe and frequent flooding. -Some areas will likely experience more extensive and prolonged droughts. -Some of our favorite coastal and low-lying vacation areas, such as parts of the Florida Keys and Cape Cod, will be much less appealing as sea levels rise, dunes erode, and the areas become more vulnerable to coastal storms. -Many families and businesses, who have made their living from fishing, farming, and tourism could lose their livelihoods, and others who love hunting, boating, skiing, birdwatching, and just relaxing near lakes, streams, and wetlands will see some of their favorite places irretrievably changed. This rank is lower than in 2010. It opens a question that runs in my head, what happen with our education? Indonesia is a great country with many talented young generations. It was undoubted again that there are so many Indonesian students who win the international education Olympiads such as mathematics, chemical, physics and other. But why our international education rank is still low. So what happen with with our education? Our government had made some policies which relate to the improvement of our educational standard by improving the national examination (UN) standard which rise year by year. Our government also made an effort to improve our educational standard by improving the teachers' quality with a programme which well known as "Sertifikasi". But why our education rank never change. Pemerintah kita telah membuat beberapa kebijakan yang berhubungan dengan peningkatan standar pendidikan kita dengan meningkatkan patokan ujian nasional (UN) yang meningkat tahun demi tahunnya. Pemerintah kita juga membuat sebuah usaha untuk meningkatkan standar pendidikan kita dengan meningkatkan kualitas guru-guru dengan sebuah program yang dikenal dengan "Sertifikasi". Tetapi mengapa peringkat pendidikan kita tidak pernah berubah. Jadi ada apa dengan pendidikan kita? Hadirin yang terhormat, Jadi ada apa dengan pendidikan kita? Tetapi segera saya menyadari satu hal. Peringkat pendidikan kita sebenarnya bergantung pada satu hal, hanya satu hal. Peringkat pendidikan kita tergantung pada kita. Baik atau buruknya pendidikan suatu negara tergantung siswa-siswanya. Jika kita ingin merubah paradigma buruk pendidikan kita, mari kita mulai dengan merubah pandangan kita dengan istilah pendidikan itu sendiri dengan tetap mencoba, tetap belajar, tetap berinovasi, tetap menemukan untuk kebaikan pendidikan kita.
