Crime figures from 9th August to 12th September 2012; BURGLARY DWELLING 3 King Street 27/08/12, Barlow Road 10/09/12 (Attempt no entry gained) and Inverness Road 12/09/12. All offences were committed by forcing rear windows. One was via an insecurity. Items taken were an MP3 IPod player, a handbag, 2 x televisions, jewellery and a bank passbook. BURGLARY OTHER 6 Wharf Street 14/08/12, Wells Drive 28/08/12, Southfield Close x 2 30/08/12, Wharf Street 03/09/12, and Clarendon Street 08/09/12. 2 of these were business premises, 2 were sheds broken in to and 1 was a caravan. Nothing was stolen from the sheds. Other items taken were computer items and fishing equipment. THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE 0 . THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE 10 Concord Way 17/08/12, Hall Green Close 26/08/12, Park Road x 2 26/08/12, Park Road 01/09/12, Broadway 02/09/12, Concord Way 06/09/12, Astley Street 06/09/12, Park Road 08/09/12, and Foundry Street 09/09/12. Park Road and Concord Way were repeat locations. Items taken were a guitar and other musical equipment, mobile phones, sat navs, hand bag, MP3 player, personal documents, wheel trims, spare tyre, diesel, and a rucksack. PLEASE REMEMBER TO REMOVE ALL ITEMS OF VALUE FROM YOUR VEHICLE. ROBBERY 5 Brunswick Street 11/08/12, Mary Street 19/08/12, King Street x 2 07/09/12 and 09/09/12, and Church Street 11/09/12. All of these offences were personal robberies. A knife was seen on 3 occasions and used verbally as a threat on 1 occasion. The victims were all aged between 13 and 20. Items taken were mobile phones, cash, and an MP3 player. HATE 0 CRIMINAL DAMAGE 9 Old Road 11/08/12, King Street 12/08/12, Victoria Road 18/08/12, Wells Drive 20/08/12, Hall Green Road 25/08/12, Inverness Road 29/08/12, Durham Close 30/08/12, Old Road 08/09/12, Victoria Road 08/09/12.

3 of these incidents were damage to vehicles, 2 were to dwellings and 4 were to walls and fencing. ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR INCIDENTS 60 Repeat locations include King Street, Dukinfield Park, Hill Street, Birch Lane, Nicholson Square, Concord Way and Barlow Road. This increase may well be due to the summer holiday period and short spells of warm weather. OTHER NEWS: LEAD THEFTS There were 6 reports of lead flashing being stolen from properties on Combermere Street between 8th and 11th September. If anyone has any information regarding these offences, please contact the neighbourhood team.
