Spanish I Proyecto de Captulo 2 This project covers the vocabulary and grammar for Lesson 2. It is due Wed, Sept.

26 and is a test grade. There are 2 parts to the project: Part 1: Mi Familia Choose one of the following: Choice 1 Make a family tree for your immediate family (parents and siblings). You may include pets. For each person, include a photo or you may draw them. Write a paragraph in Spanish for each person. Tell their name, how they are related to you, and their age. Tell what they are like. Include a paragraph for yourself. Use the appropriate forms of ser and tener and check all endings to make sure they match your subject. Choice 2 - Make a family tree for your future family (your spouse and children). You may include pets. For each person, include a magazine or internet photo or you may draw them. Write a paragraph in Spanish for each person. Tell their name, how they are related to you, and their age. Tell what they are like. Include a paragraph for yourself. Es alta, simptica, y muy inteligente. Part 2: Mi Casa Choose one of the following: Choice 1 Make a floor plan for your home. Label each room in Spanish. Beside your floor plan, write a paragraph in Spanish describing your home. Tell how many rooms there are. Describe the rooms (color, size, something in the room). Choice 2 Make a floor plan for your future home. Label each room in Spanish. Beside your floor plan, write a paragraph in Spanish describing your home. Tell how many rooms there are. Describe the rooms (color, size, things in the room). Sample paragraph: Hay ocho cuartos en mi casa. La cocina es blanca y muy grande. Hay una mesa en la cocina. Presentation 1. Posterboard. Label each part clearly. You may draw and write or glue/tape pictures and paragraphs to your posterboard. 2. Book. You may create a book, putting pages in a report folder or making a cover with construction paper and stapling it together. Pictures may be drawn or glued/taped in or you may create your pages on the computer, printing and assembling them. 3. Powerpoint Presentation. You may create your project on Powerpoint. Include pictures. Presentation must be turned in on a flashdrive which will be returned after the project is graded. Grading Projects will be graded on neatness and effort, having all of the required elements, and having correct Spanish grammar and spelling.
