SPECIAL RE-SITTING WINDOW FOR NOV 2012 EXAMINATIONS CIRCULAR AR/SA/ DATED 26.08.

2012 Last date for the submission of online re-sitting form by the students/ LCs 7 Days from the date of uploading of result in online Re-sitting Portal - BATCH 3
The Special Resitting window is open for students whose complete results were declared on 24th Aug 2012. The list of eligible students is provided under LC login section of www.smude.edu.in (Result/ Marks > List of Results Declared students) with the last date of submission of Re-sitting Application (For Batch 3 up to 01 Sep 2012). Kindly note that no extension of date will be provided and the names of the students will not appear in subsequent batch for re-sitting.

Applicability
This provision is applicable only for those students who appeared and failed in Aug 12 Examinations and willing to appear in Nov 12 Examinations. 1. This re-sitting option BATCH 3 is available only to the students who appeared and failed in Project or IA or University Examination component of a paper held in Aug 12 Examination.
2. Please check the validity of your Registration before applying for re-sitting. In case the validity period (maximum duration of the program) is over, please contact Help Desk at smuhelpdesk@smudde.edu.in for further assistance.

3. The eligible students should apply online as per the instructions provided in Students Manual/ LC Manual in online portal, http://myzone.smude.edu.in 4. The offline re-sitting forms will not be accepted.
5. Please submit only one re-sitting form, even if the student is appearing for more than one paper of different semesters as online system does not accept more than one re-sitting form of a student.

6. The students are required to submit the Re-sitting form from the same LC in which they are re-registered in this Session.

7. In case of CLASHING PAPERS, the student has to apply and appear for only one paper. Refer to the time-table
and examination guidelines for more details.

8. Separate payment instrument should be used towards re-sitting form of each student. 9. Please note that there is no provision for improvement by reappearance in the Term End University Examinations or Internal Assignment once the student is declared as passed. 10. The students are required to refer to the revised SLM, if the same is revised after his/her last appearance for the examinations in that paper.

PROVISIONAL ADMISSION CASES


Students whose admission is provisional are not eligible to apply for re-sitting.

MALPRACTICE CASES
Students who are booked for acts of indiscipline of malpractice during the Examinations will not be considered for re-sitting papers for such period specified by the Disciplinary Committee.

RE-SITTING FEE
a) The re-sitting fee has to be paid in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Sikkim Manipal University DE, payable at MANIPAL or UDUPI. b) The re-sitting fee can also be paid through swiping the Credit/ Debit Card at select Learning Centres. c) Payments in any other form will not be accepted. The fees once paid will not be refunded. 1. Re-sitting fee for the students of DHCM, ADHCM, BScHCM, DHIA (Revised Spring 2007), DMLT (Revised Spring 2007), DMIT (Revised Spring 2007), BScHIA (Revised Spring 2007), BScMIT (Revised Spring 2007), BScMLT (Revised Spring 2007), PGDCRRA, MScCRRA program is: Fee per paper without late fee : Rs.350/-

2. Re-sitting fee for the students of other programs is : Fee per paper without late fee : Rs.300/-

3. Re-sitting fee for Practical papers of BScBT ( Revised Spring 2007 ) and MScBT : Rs 500/-

DISPATCH INSTRUCTIONS TO LEARNING CENTRES


1. Please generate batch covering letter of the students who have submitted the online re-sitting form for appearance in failed papers through online admission portal. 2. Arrange to keep the payment instruments (DD/ Charge slip) in the order of the above list and forward them to the University for processing, further. The copy of e re-sitting form / manual re-sitting form should not be dispatched to the university. Please write the Roll no on the reverse side of the DD / Charge slip without fail. 3. Do not mix any other documents with the above. Other documents or forms, if any, could be sent in separate envelopes. 4. Do not accumulate the forms till the last date. Arrange to dispatch them to the University at regular intervals. 5. Dispatch the forms only through Speed Post or Courier having branch in Manipal and check the status in the website www.smude.edu.in 6. The payment instruments along with Batch covering letter must be dispatched by the Learning Centre to the University within the approved transit time. Forms received after the approved transit time of 7 days will be considered for JANUARY 2013 Examinations, subject to the fulfillment of the terms and conditions. 7.
