A civic center or civic centre (see "American and British English spelling differences") is a prominent land area within a community that is constructed to be its focal point or center. It usually contains one or more dominant buildings, Recently, the term "civic center" has been used in reference to an entire central business district of a community or a major shopping center in the middle of a community. In this type of civic center, special attention is paid to the way public structures are grouped and landscaped. In some American cities, a multi-purpose arena is named "Civic Center", for example Columbus Civic Center. Such "Civic Centers" combine venues for sporting events, theatres, concerts and similar events.

1. A municipal building or building complex, often publicly financed, with space for conventions, sports events, and theatrical entertainment(civic center design for full fill community need)

Civic center consists of any activity which provides a diversion of daily routine or permits people to amuse themselves in their leisure time. Civic center design is the art of creating experiences which excite the mind: watching opera or a movie, theme parks and rides, special events, shows, exhibits, galleries, and themed restaurants. Aim:The main aim of design behind the scheme is to create a multi-purpose centre that blurs the boundaries between retail and cultural zones and indoor and outdoor spaces with flowing spatial transitions. Today life become very hectic people havent much more time for daily activates and in future it will become more hectic and busy. So we will

try to develop a single building which has multi gathering space expend in vertical direction rather than horizontal space. Combination of space like indoor and outdoor gathering facilities. It will help to save time and easy to make the building in small space rather than individual gathering space. Another main aim is to provide the outdoor activates space with optimum facility in this building design with outdoor feeling. so when people enter in the building they cannot seen they are confined in any permissive and they enjoy all outdoor and indoor activates.

OBJECTIVE:THE OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT IS: Will provide a premier entertainment, lifestyle and retail experience for wider Indore community. Efficient inter relation indoor and outdoor function zones.

 Sustainable design principles have been adhered to while designing the scheme. Minimizing air conditioned spaces formed one of the main objectives of the design. Combination of space like indoor and outdoor gathering facilities. It will help to save time and easy to make the building in small space rather than individual gathering space. To provide good ambience view by landscaping and deck. To provides a canopy under which the public can experience outdoor views and alfresco dining. Provide auditorium, which is expected to be the largest venue of its kind in Indore capable of staging amplified musicals, concerts and other large scale visual events. For good ambiance Most of the spaces such as the retail, civic square, outdoor theatre as well as foyer and the pre-function facilities are all arranged as open air facilities This venue that will pamper artistes, technical crews and audiences alike. The high quality back-of-house support includes a green room, dance studio, rehearsal areas, ample dressing rooms and storage, and a wardrobe and laundry section. The civic center will provide private gatherings such as weddings, birthday parties, corporate receptions, product launches, media conferences and artistes meet and greet sessions.

To design a complete community need for all age and culture.

Scope of the work: There is rapid growth in population of India .and because of this tremendous growth; urbanization and civilization rapidly take place in our country. And the result of all these, definitely there will be scarcity of land in future in India. Keep these entire things and growing economy in mind, develop a building according to future
