Romania Core responsibilities - Performing vendor and buyer financial due diligence projects for private companies by analyzing companys financial statements (i.e. EBITDA, net debt, working capital, cash flow, specific sales and costs analyses); - In charge with the communication with the Target company representatives and also with the prospective buyer (KPMG client); - Writing the financial due diligence reports by focusing on the potential risks that should be addressed in the SPA; - Participating to negotiation meetings between the buyer and the seller. Main projects undertaken Due diligence projects: real estate, wind farms, automotive, security systems and services, FMCG, rail and transportation services, communications internet. Non-core assignments One forensic project for one of the largest natural gas distributor in Romania consisting in data analytics services and interviews. I was involved in helping the client to discover potential frauds made by the employees. Commercial due diligence project for one do-it-yourself retailer. The report was part of a financial restructuring and analysed the do-it-yourself market in Romania and also commented upon the prospects in short to medium term. Involvement in one internal reporting optimization process of a large Romanian insurance company. I was seconded for several months to the client and worked together with their internal control department in order to improve the reporting process.
