Since the fall season is approaching, we thought we would share this little devotional thought with you!

Month 1, Week 4 September 23rd, 2012

Snacks
We have filled every opening for SNACKS! We truly appreciate your willingness to donate! Thank you so much!!!!

Volunteers Needed
Most of the spots are filled on next month's sign-up sheet, but we still have a few parts open so please check it out! It's hanging on the bulletin board in the foyer. Thanks!

Interviews!
Starting next month, we will be doing interviews, so be on the look out!

When we pick a pumpkin, it shows the way God chooses us out of the world. He brings us into His family and washes off all the dirt. (2 Corinthians 6:17-18) When we cut off the top and clean out all the seeds, we get a demonstration of God reaching into our hearts. He cleans out all of the yucky stuff inside, all of the sin - all the The Schedule seeds of doubt, hate, greed, and fear. God 1st Sunday: replaces them with seeds of faith, hope and Drama & Science love. After Jesus is invited inside, you begin 2nd Sunday : to experience the changing power of Gods Ocho & Craft love in your life. 3rd Sunday: Carving the pumpkin reminds us of Video & Game when we become a follower of Christ, God *4th Sunday: carves a new smiling face in each of us. We Reflection & Music are forever changed by the power of His (and Souvenir Shop) presence in our life. (Proverbs 15:13) When we light the candle inside, it Snacks!! reflects the light from inside out. So too, when Jesus, who is called the Son of Light, 9/16 was Candy Sushi, lives inside of us, He shines through our life provided by Lisa N. for all to see. We can let His light reflect through us to reveal His presence to those 9/23 will be Fish on a log, around us. (Matthew 5:14-16) provided by Jennifer S. So you see, as a Christian, we are like pumpkins! We will never be the same once 9/30 None we invite Christ to shine within us.

The kids will be getting into the Souvenir Shop (our goodie room), so make sure your child takes home their prize(s). Thank you!!

Christmas Program
We will begin practicing for our Christmas program on November 4th during JAM, beginning at 5 pm.

We hope that you bring your children so they can be a part of this Christmas tradition! This week:
We will reflect over what we have learned this month. We will discuss what it meant for Noah to Depend on God and what it means to us. We will also see who memorized the memory verse.

JAM
We have JAM every Sunday night, from 5 to 6:30 pm, with a meal. This week, we will be learning about the books Philemon and Hebrews. We will be studying the story of Phillip and Ethiopian Eunich and how to SHARE JESUS with others! (We will wrap up learning the books of the New Testament on October 21st!)
