Dear Mr. Screvane:
The date of our next Directors meeting, i. e.
September 26th, was set up early this year. I have just
been advised that there will be a meeting of the Board of
Estimate on September 26th commencing at 10:30 A. M.
which left some doubt as to whether you would be able to
attend our Directors meeting on that date and/or the
Executive Committee meeting at 9 A. M. preceding the
Directors meeting. A reply postal card just received
from you indicates that you will be at our Directors meet-
ing on September 26th. This is good news.
I wonder if you would be good enough to confirm to
me that you will definitely be present at the Directors meet-
ing for the reason that Mr. Moses is proposing putting you
on the Directors Agenda to report on the Hall of Science.
If there was any doubt of your being here he would have to
make other arrangements for this report.
At the same time would you also let me know whether
you will be present at om Executive Committee meeting on
that date which will start at .9 A, M. to insure the completion
of all the business corning before the Committee by 10:30 A.M.
Thank you.
