Heard regularly in most areas of the reserve especially the Dock and Laguna Chica Pier. Seen on a number of occasions. Regularly heard and quite regularly seen. Quite a lot of unidentified small tinamou species would have been this species or Bartletts. The most frequently seen Tinamou species due to its preference of more open habitat around the Lodge Clearing and adjacent trails especially La Torre Trail. Regularly heard along the trails close to the Lodge especially along Ant Trail, Laguna Chica Trail and Laguna Chica Pier.

Commonly seen along the Tambopata River, Laguna Chica Pier and also at Cocococha Lake. 31/10/05 1 Laguna Chica Pier large falcon sp probably of this species.

Common around the Lodge Clearing. Very Common around the Lodge Clearing and adjacent trails. Occasionally seen around the Lodge Clearing and adjacent trails. One pair attempted to nest near the Resident Naturalist bungalow but was unsuccessful due to high winds.

Frequently seen around the Lodge Clearing and on adjacent trails. Seen regularly on the forest trails especially along Main and Tapir trails.

Seen in good numbers on my one visit to the Colpa. Seen occasionally around the Lodge Clearing, Cocococha Lake and a number of the Trails within the reserve. Up to to 60 were seen during the visit to the Colpa. The commonest Large Macaw throughout the reserve and and the only one that occasionally visits the Colpita. Up to 100 were seen at the Colpa. Regularly seen over the Lodge Clearing, Dock and Cocococha Lake. Common at the Colpita with up to 20 birds present, and about 50 birds at the Colpa. 10/8/05 24/1/06 2 La Torre Trail 4 Cocococha Lake

Seen occasionally over the Tambopata River and also at the Colpita. 30 seen on the visit to the Colpa. One of the commonest parrots at the colpita with up to 100 present. Also regularly seen over the Tambopata from the Dock and also at Laguna Chica Pier. 9/8/05 2 Laguna Chica Pier

Common at the Colpita with a maximum count of c80, over 200 present at the Colpa.

Regularly seen at Cocococha Lake and along the Rivers during the wet season months from 10/10/05 onwards. Common around Puerto Maldonado but occasionally seen at Cocococha Lake and along the Tambopata River.

Frequently heard around the Lodge Clearing and the trails on night walks. Bare-necked Fruitcrow Not uncommon at Explorers Inn and seen quite regularly, Gymnoderus foetidus especially flying over vantage points such as the Dock and Laguna Chica Pier.
