Thank you for attending the associate survey results presentation at todays Leadership Meeting. (If you werent able to make it, there are additional opportunities for you to learn about the results. Read on.) We want our associates to know that we hear and understand them. In addition to the Action Planning resource guide provided by Right Management that you should have picked up with your results packet, we are also attaching the following tools to this e-mail: Talking points that provide information and tips you can use to discuss the survey with your staff. I highly encourage you to use these key points; presenting a uniform message across the Village will assist us and our efforts to improve associate satisfaction. A tip sheet for how to respond positively to comments and suggestions. A list of survey follow-up requirements and timeline for completion.

Managers are required to attend their service unit training, which will be held the week of Sept. 17. The training will help you better understand specific service unit/department data so that you can be more effective while conducting your department meeting. In the meantime, we need to make sure that all our associates have the opportunity to learn about the results of the survey, how the Village plans to respond and how they can be involved in making changes that will make John Knox Village a great place to work. Encourage your associates to attend one of the All Associate Meetings. 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13 at the Village Care Center\Ice Cream Parlor 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14 at the Places\Manhattan Room Everyone who attends a meeting will receive one hour of training credit.

Please support as many associates as possible to attend one of these meetings. It is essential to the Villages ongoing success that everyone sees themselves as part of the solution. The results of the associate survey are so important to our organization where would be without our dedicated and talented associates? We need to come together to form and execute a plan that will help make the Village a better place to work. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Dan
