CALIBRATION SERVICE TERMS

(i) All the calibration services (calibration carried out at Ballabgarh laboratories), except indicated otherwise, are NABL accredited. Services out of NABL scope have direct traceability to National/ International Standards. Site calibration services are accredited by NABL for: RPM of Vibrating Machines, CTM /UTM in compression mode, Balances 200g to 150kg and indicators of temperature and humidity fitted with chambers/ ovens. It is the responsibility of the customer to submit the equipment for calibration at our laboratory at Ballabgarh and collect the same, with proper authorization/identification. Equipment marked (*) can be calibrated at site by paying additional boarding/lodging, to and fro transportation/ conveyance (2T-AC Train/Taxi). Equipment like Oven, RH Chamber, Muffle Furnace, Flow Table, Balance, CTM, UTM etc. installed in the laboratories should not be transported to our laboratories for calibration. Such equipment will be calibrated at site only at agreed upon time/schedule. Charges for site calibration will be 35% additional, over the listed charge. In National Capital Region (NCR) of Faridabd, Delhi, Gurgaon, NOIDA and Ghaziabad, site calibration charge will be 20% additional, over the listed charge. Due to long lead-time in some areas and to avoid repeat visit for collecting the calibrated instrument, customers are advised to book a time slot - at least 10 days in advance. Calibration in such cases will be done on the agreed upon time, and the calibration certificate dispatched later at the earliest. Equipment and devices in such cases should be brought for calibration by 11 A.M. Client can requests for faster delivery of service upon payment of express charge (double the normal charges). Calibration on express basis will be completed in three working days. Equipment and devices in such cases should be brought for calibration by 11 A.M.

CERTIFIED REFERENCE MATERIALS (CRMs)

(viii) Calibrated equipment can be collected by clients after 4 P.M. on working days. (ix) Certificate of calibration will be handed over/dispatched upon receipt of payment. No advance/provisional copy of certificate will be issued. Duplicate certificate, if desired, will be issued on payment of Rs. 500.00 plus Service Tax @ 10.3% Depending on the facilities available, equipment other than those in the rate list are also takenup for calibration. Charges for such work shall be quoted separately. ( 9 ) ( 10 )

CRM DELIVERY TERMS

(i) The CRM for chemical parameters is packed in four sealed vials, with each vial containing approximately five grams of powdered material. The CRM for physical parameters is packed in four sealed vials with each vial containing approximately ten grams of powdered material. The CRM of hydrated lime is packed in three packets, with each packet containing approximately 170 grams of material. Plant specific CRMs: raw materials, raw meal. kiln feed, clinker, cement etc. for calibration of X-ray analyzer (XRF/ XRD), to eliminate matrix variation, are developed on sponsored basis. These are provided in desired quantity to the sponsor for long term application. CRMs for specifically desired parameters and applications are also developed and provided in desired quantity on sponsored basis. Charges for these CRMs are as per the mutually agreed scope of work and payment terms. The certified value and expanded uncertainty of CRM is estimated with high degree of confidence and known sources of bias investigated by NCB and reported in the certificate provided with CRM. The above rates are inclusive of dispatch charges for companies in India.
