Solution: 9/8/08 - Filters for Revenue Branch Office and Provider Branch Office need to be included in the More options screen for detail reports only. These 2 filters should not be in the Summary reports.

The subject line for Export ODE should be the same as in the report name, i.e.: "Hardware Warranty Exit".

The exported filename must correspond with the report name, i.e.: "Hardware Functionality current MA". The exported filename must correspond with the report name, i.e.: "Hardware Functionality expired MA" Report filters produced 10,628 rows of data. The export ODE file contained only 12 rows of data. User received three emails when an export ODE of less than 65K rows was performed. Note: File split feature occurs at every 25k rows. The formatted export is not formatted properly. Issue with formatting of column names. Solution - Hide formatted export on all reports. Move the [View contract summary] report up to the top to be consistent with all the other Summary reports. By having this report right above the Functionality [Opportunity by Customer report], it gives the impression that this is a drill down to that report, and it is not. When clicking on the [View contract summary] report, prior to setting the filters, the tool is bringing back data. (why??). This report needs to be blank until I set the filters. When I run the detailed report for ServicePac for the same SP1, the detail report does not show the SP1 just below the filter like in the Scorecard report. The Estimated value (K$) used below does not indicate for what period of time the value represents. We use Estimated Annual (K$) in Total View.

MCLM shows 2000 of 9123 rows, however when the report is sent it include all active and closed opportunities. This is not intuitive to the MCLM user by what they are seeing in MCLM from a results perspective, so therefore this needs to be reported as a problem. It will cause confusion to the user when they're exporting data and comparing against what MCLM displays on screen Functionality versus the exported report file. Solution - Add text in message box informaing user of active & inactive oppty. Also, ODE email for detail reports will contain new message for active & inactive oppty. I reran the same report with the same parameters and received what appears to be a complete file. In running this previously, the report I received Functionality was incomplete - either no rows of data, blank file or 13 rows of data. I've requested SWMA expirations per the below, however when I chose to export per below the window that pops up to save the file is my Local Disk and normally the user would not be saving the file to this location. I then go up to My Documents folder, but I do not have the option to create a new folder to save the report. Is this is user specific problem or a known bug? We need to log this as a potential issue as I said most if not all BP users would be storing the report in a specific named file in their My Documents folder or another place other than the Local Disk option. Status - Research the issue. Some specific items that need to be changed 1) There are incomplete line borders around the table cells 2) It is difficult to read the top of the file where the filters are specified. a) Filter headings are not aligned with the value b) Dates are not together, ex. Jul 2009 displays as Jul 2009 c)Nothing under platform Functionality d) Text in blue often doesn't need to be displayed at all ([edit], more options, export, provide feedback, help, etc) 3) The title row should be highlighted in a color Solution - Redesign export reports- future reqt.

Under a closed PR Number PR -H8KZB --> I found the following comments: JDR 08/13/08: The Signed customer fields on the report map to the Install Customer fields in the Db. The screenshot is for the State of Ohio Enterprise, so I believe the way the report should look is that we should see a row for each location (Install Customer) where there is equipment covered by the contract. For Other example, the first contract in the screen shot is AG6609. The following query results from the underlying MCLM tables indicate there is equipment covered by the contract in 4 locations (distinct Cust Nums). Thus the MCLM report should show 4 rows for contract AG6609. The MCLM report is showing more than that, which I believe can be fixed by adding the Cust Num to the Group By clause.

After I run the ServicePac Available MA Scorecard report below and select the Detail tab, MCLM takes me to Warranty Exit (see below). If I select the More Options link on the detail report, I get the bottom picture. The bottom shows that I'm on the Hardware Warranty Exit Report Filters which has ServicePacs as part of the filter. Being on a warranty exit report and having Functionality a servicepac filter is inconsistent. Resolution - For screen flow, Summary to Detail and vice versa. Pam will obtain feedback from usability study and BP testers. Issue from Ref #43 2nd part.

When I selected the detail tab, I expected the same filters to apply. What I got was a default setting that changed my previously selected ServicePac filter to Warranty Exit. In addition, you no longer use a drop selection for the Service Filter -- the Service options are now spread across the top of the Functionality page. Filter settings should not change as I move throughout MCLM. And it would help a lot if the look and feel of the Filter options were consistent. Note: Filter settings and Search by should not change as I move throughout MCLM. Severity lowered to a 3. Still need to implement when more complete solution is outlined with dev team.

I requested Email export for the SW Expired MA report and received in email screen shot below. Should the sequence of the reports not have 1 of 2 Other before the 2 of 2 report is received? In the screen shot below, I received 2 of 2 before 1 of 2 report. I pulled the New HW not on MA report and exported as Excel (formatted) less than 2K rows. Notice the name of the report it saved below and then when I open the file embedded in the file itself it states New software not on MA. This is not good. Please log as a problem.

Does UNKNOWN mean that: there is a SP2 involved but we don't now who it is, OR there isn't an SP2 involved? Other and what is 9999999 telling me? If 9999999 represents no BP engagement, then I want to see it the column blank. Resolution - As per Bih's explanation Cus # 99999... means there was no Cus# from the source. Therefore ETL defaults it to 99999... A zero means it was passed from the source. Also, UKNOWN means data not provided from the source. Future reqt. needed for defaults displayed to user.

Between 6-to 8:15pm, ( because I finally gave up )..the tool has been frozen........very frustrated. 49 8/21/2008 Josie L Pesqueira All Reports System frozen I was able to get into the tool, however all of the reports are now frozen...not able to do any testing. This is good news / bad news. In reviewing the attached file, the Estimated Annual $ matches the Estimated Annual $ from the Total View Summary for ServicePac for Sirius for the month of Aug 2008. Now, the bad news is when I pull the MA Scorecord for the Jan 2008 to Aug 2008, Avnet/Sirius, Servicepac the cumulative totals do not match. Let me know if you need any Functionality other info that I may have not included. I believe this is the same as what Jimmy had reported. Duplicate of Ref #23,24. Peter, can you add this to our list of issues. I have come to the conclusion that rather than I continue to "guess" what these reports are suppose to show and what they are not suppose to show, I would like a walk thru of each report from someone on this team. As you might or might not know..internally, we do not use the Total View reports so it becomes more and more complex to try to understand how I am suppose to train sales folks on these reports when I have not prior knowledge. For example...when I compare the reports between Total View and MCLM, I cannot map where the "Available MA by Service" Summary reports comes in. While Total View maps all the other reports, there is nothing to tell me what I am suppose to be looking for in this report. Status - Pat to followup with Josie. Other

2:50pm - This has to be a bug. I closed ALL my IE browsers. I opened a new IE browser and attempted to log back onto MCLM and I receive the error below. I tried this twice already, closed this brower and opening new one only to receive the same error. It is unacceptable that a user would have to reboot their machine in order to refresh their system to not recognize that they were previously signed onto MCLM. 52 8/22/2008 Joellen Fabiani All Reports Login 3:37pm - Update...I tried for a 4th time closing IE browser, opening new one with same result. I moved onto something else for about 10 mins and tried again and now I was able to logon again. This is still not acceptable from a timing issue with not being able to logon again within minutes of closing all open IE browsers regardless if I was signed onto MCLM in any of them. Estimated annual $ matched Total View for both Active and Inactive opportunities on this report. Also, there are several rows of data missing Functionality such as DMS agreement name and number - not sure why there are blanks. for Exported ODE file. Ok..I've tried to log onto 2 sessions in IE for MCLM. I received the Sign In response below and I included the screen capture from my current open MCLM session. I don't understand why some users can have multiple sessions running and others cannot. We need to investigate why this is happening in order for us to determine if this is a PW limitation or MCLM limitation. Status - Flightdeck prevents user from multiple logins. Partnerworld - issue being researched. I pulled this report for Avnet for Jan2008 to Dec2008, MCLM displayed 2000 of 10,224 rows of data on screen. I exported the report Excel (unformatted) <65K rows as shown below and it shows the name of the report a SW_Current_MA_Raw.xls, however when I go to the folder I saved the file in, it shows it as MCLM _Tutorial from PW.ppt.xls. I open the file and embedded within the file it states the correct name of the report I just pulled/saved. Also, there are only 2000 rows of data within the file - so clearly selecting the less than 65K rows unformatted did not send the correct number of records to populate the Excel file. Issue from Ref #60 2nd part. Not sure what this error indicates. I was refreshing the browser I had previously been signed onto MCLM and received this pop up. I clicked OK and it brought up the logon, I logged on and it brought up the report screen. I had never seen this error before and wanted to bring this to your attention. Other Status - Need more information to reproduce this. Logged in PR database as Feedback item as to save user screenshot.

Model and serial number formatting is still incorrect. Also, why in the reports that are exported unformatted have embedded in the Excel report the name and specific filters that were used to extract the data, however the reports that are exported to your email do not. I know within the email it lists the specific filter criteria, however it does not in the Excel file so it could be very confusing if someone is pulling multiple reports and has to flip flop back and forth to their email and Excel to ensure they're taking appropriate action on Functionality the correct reports. Status - The 1st issue (model/serial # formatting) is being addressed by Ref #53. Issue with filters not specified in the exported ODE file but only in the email is Works as designed for the time being.

I forgot to mention that not all columns of data were exported to the Excel unformatted file. I had clicked on the opportunity status view, and noticed in the Status column it states "not specified", however when I chose the email export, I received all columns of the report. Also, the report has a Column names "Oportunity_Status_Code" - the word opportunity is spelled wrong and Export unformatted / ODE the shows either 1-Active or 2-Inactive/Closed which is completely different Functionality than what is displayed on the screen in MCLM with "non specified" for Status along with it stating that in the exported report unformatted >65k rows. Issue addressed here: The Export ODE includes all columns while the Unformatted export includes only what is on the screen. Ref #60 2nd issue - The exported ODE file has the column name "Oportunity_Status_Code" misspelled.

On a different note, I just spot checked 2 of the contract numbers listed in the Excel spreadsheet exported to my email but it does not list the actual type/serials tied to the SWMA on this report. So, I then went to Total View Functionality and found the contract numbers and the type/serials tied to the SWMA. I don't know how else to voice my concern on the data integrity.
I attempted to export a detail report (Initial SWMA) using unformatted version of excel. I saved it to my document folder, but when I try to open it, there was NO data . Related issue Functionality I have queried 2 reports under the Initial SWMA Expiration report. Dates = Aug.08 thru Aug.08 First report I selected IBM as the Sales Channel Sold by....I was able to get a unformatted report showing me the data. When I run the second report using "ALL" as my Sales Channel Sold by filter, I get a report (unformatted xls) with no data....what is going on? Joellen's email - John, this is what we talked about earlier on the phone. I pulled the HW Current MA report for Avnet only, Jan2009 to Dec2009. I checked these machines and they are currently on WSU only contract with no follow on HWMA contract in place. I have 2 concerns with the data, one with the AutoRenew saying NO in MCLM and ISAT is showing that it is scheduled to Autorenew. Second, the Service Start Date in MCLM is showing 01-01-1900 and in ISAT it's showing 7-3-2006 - so not sure why there is a bogus date being fed to MCLM. Followup email/issue: John and Jimmy, I pulled the report below from the CHISCONDET table in AMIW - I'm assuming this is the same table that is fed down to NDRS - and it shows the service start date of 7/3/06. I don't believe Total View would have this data since the contract term end date is July 2009 Functionality and the Avnet Total View I have from Jimmy is through Dec 2008. I was not able to find this contract on this Total View report. So, it has to go back to whatever the source data is that is feeding NDRS the service start date, but there is a distinct service start date in this CHISCONDET table. Josie's email - Can someone tell me again what these dates represent:? This is a warranty exit report. "Service Start Dates are have value of jan 01, 1900". Possible Resolution: Remove Service Start Date ??? and from what screens ??? Josie to followup.

Peter, I reran this same report and chose the exported (unformatted) option, and it brought up the Local Disk box below, I then went up to the My Documents folder, then double clicked on the MCLM folder and the box that was presented to me was in the 2nd screen shot I included below. I cancelled out of that, then attempted another export and it brought up the Local Disk box, then I clicked on the dropdown option and clicked on the My Documents folder, double clicked on the MCLM folder and I was able to save the file to the appropriate place. I'm not sure this is normal behavior and again when I click on the My Documents folder, I should have the option to Other create a new folder to save the various reports. If someone is technical enough to help me figure out why I'm unable to create a new folder in the My Documents folder to enable me and potentially a BP that would be saving these reports in distinct folders for each SP2 or customer they're working on for any and all sales opportunities. Josie, do you have this same problem when exporting to either formatted or unformatted? Issue: User unable to create folder in My Documents via Save dialog Already logged. Duplicate of Ref#35, pr raised Sev 3 priority A.. Summary Report: By Customer (State of California - 1371000) did not produce any data when querying same info as in detail reports. Functionality I pulled a report for this customer using the following filters, and I received NO DATA. Then I pulled 2 detail reports for the same customer enterprise number and I got data... Why do I get Business Partner data? If I am running a query using the "Sales Channel Sold by" = IBM, why do I get Functionality SP2 information (DMS Agreement name and #) ? Scorecard for Wal-Mart 9476700 When pulling the score card for Walmart using the enterprise number I am getting NO data... Date range = Jan 2008 thru Dec 2008, Sold by: IBM only.

User to try again - possibly search with Cust ent name using a cust #. Is it already logged that from the IBM side when you select more options from a particular report that the SP1/Dist dropdown will be collapsed at the letter versus expanded BP name by BP name? It would be much more efficient to collapse since I won't be able to log on as a BP via PW and will be forced to use the internal flightdeck and then drill it down by BP and SP2. The only options are to have ALL collapsed or ALL expanded for both the SP1/Dist and SP2 dropdown. Can this be fixed so that only the Revenue Branch office codes are under the Revenue Branch office drop down, and only the Provider Branch office codes under ther Provider Branch office drop Functionality down. This is not by any means a show stopper, but I thought I would point User Interface it out in case someone brings it up in UAT. The formatted report does not appear to have the same alignment problem... When I try to select Logicalis as the SP2, I can not determine which Logicalis to pick. Since the enterprise number is not included in the dropdown window. Also - some BP's are both SP1's and SP2's. Which BP selection option do I select to see all rows for the BP?

MA Scorecard When printing this report to excel, I do not get the graph portion of the report in neither the formatted or unformatted report. and as I reported on email prior to this one, the snapshot does not work either. How do I get the graph portion of this report to print? Functionality Notes: Arcplan limitations for formatted export(hidden for now). Also, considerable amount of customization needed for unformatted xls. Feature is available via Export - Image snapshot. Josie: We need to keep better records of who is using the MCLM tool by week. I need to provide a Usage statistics monthly report to my executive and my preference is to be able to tell them which reports were run by whom and how often by week. I would like to see the exact date/time it was run so I can tell if we have users really using the tool or are they just kicking tires...!! Currently I know we have a usage report that shows who ran what report, but it does not tell me when it was run outside of the year..so I can have one user show up 10 times in 2008, but I don't know which month in 2008 that Other user ran a report..(make sense?). So its really not anything I even show to my exec's today, because I cannot explain it..so, with that said, John Lee and I had this discussion already when I asked for a Usage Statistic report to see how many Internal users were pulling report. So he can provide more detail if you need it. Joellen: I'd like to echo Josie's note below and not sure if this would have to come from the PW team or MCLM team since the BP's will be accessing MCLM via PW.

Josie: I need to understand why we have so many years listed under the Date Ranges...If we are only going back 3yrs why are the dates listed back so far? And also for future years..why are we showing dates way out in the future. Shouldn't the date range be consistent to the date limitations available in MCLM today? I would like these dates fixed to be consistent with current release of MCLM. Warranty exits go back 3yrs....Service Pacs go out 5yrs... CHIS data only goes out 1yr, but would like to keep 8yrs in the tool to Functionality accomodate additonal years of data if and when that happens. Date Ranges should be: 2005 - 2016 (3yrs back to accomodate warranty exits - 5yrs out to accomodate Service Pacs.and 8yrs out to accomodate additional years of CHIS data. Joellen: I agree. Also, I would assume as the calendar changes, MCLM has code to handle the current date minus 3 years, plus 8 years, etc.

Ok, what is going on, did something happen to the data between 8pm and 10pm tonight?? I tried running a report for Walmart by Enterprise name and then by Enterprise number for a range of 6month and all I am getting is Functionality 2 records.. Note: Confirmed by Peter that 2 records display in UAT(PROD) when search by Cust ent # or by Cust ent name. Determine whether or not Revenue Branch Office and Provider Branch Office need to be displayed on the More Options screen and for which reports, Functionality Detail and/or Summary reports. This is very strange. I'm in Flightdeck, HW Current MA report, Sep2008Feb2009, IBM sales channel. I then clicked on the Search type dropdown, selected Customer enterprise name, and the search box did not appear immediately. It only appeared AFTER the results were presented to me even though I DID Functionality NOT click on the SUBMIT button. This is clearly a fluke and I just logged off and on again trying to replicate it but could not. Note: Alan was unable to reproduce issue; logged as issue for time being.

Also, when I switch between HW Curr MA report where I had selected Customer enterprise name as an additional search filter and switch to the HW Warr Exit report, the Search Type filter does not carry over to the HW Warr Exit. It only carries over the dates and sales channel filters. Note: Duplicate of Ref #45, 46. Alignment issue When I edit the "Platform" option, I go to the platform page. When I click Deselect all, and I go back and Select all again, I get the following. It seems like the options and the 'x''s are mis aligned. I just logged onto the test20 site and clicked on the SP1/Distributor dropdown and as you can see below I have many more options available and Functionality I already pinged John Lee and he had the same thing happen to him and he's investigating. I wanted to make sure that this was logged. Peter please log. I tried pulling a report based on the following filter criteria and have received "NO Data found". - Initial SWMA Expirations. - 1yr - Sept 08 thru Aug 09 - All sales Channel - i/p/x Series - 20K rows. When choosing these specific platforms (Bank, iSeries, pSeries, xSeries, zSeries, Network, Other) data is not being retrieved back in the report Flightdeck issue. I'm Initial SWMA Expirations, Sales Channel Sold by I selected Business Partner, but in the screen shot below it is blank. Can you log this as an issue? Need more info on specific sequence of steps, we could not reproduce. User Response in next Ref # below.

Flightdeck issue: I closed my IE browser and opened a new one and now the Business Partner selection is showing. I clicked on more options and selected Avnet, Inc 8417924 and clicked on submit. Nothing happened after that - it did not appear as though it was going out & obtaining any data, the Functionality little hand was not present on the screen in order for me to click on submit again. I did click on submit several times but nothing has happened since. Is there something going on with FD that we're not aware of?

TEST20 - response is EXTREMELY slow in returning results: HW warranty exit - Sept2008-Sept2008 - Avnet only It took 11 minutes to return results - No data was found, etc whereas in Flightdeck it took 10 seconds to return results - No data was found, etc. HW expired ma - March 2008-March2008 - Avnet only Test20 took 14 minutes to return results - which was 558 rows of 558 rows FD took 13 minutes to return results which was 558 rows of 558 rows Performance As you can imagine these response times are unacceptable and we need to get underneath why it's taking so long to return results. I could somehow make sense if it was returning over 20,000 rows of data but as you can see from the above results it is significantly less than that. I am connected via DSL through AT&T Net Client and have no other connectivity issues going on that would impact response time. Fail because of outstanding issue as per Jimmy Taylor - I'm still unable to select Logicalis as both an SP1 and an SP2. The first print screen below shows how I can select Logicalis as an SP2. The second print screen below shows that when I select Logicalis as an SP1, my previous SP2 selection is reset leaving only Unknown SP2 selection options -- this does not work.
