Haazinu 2012
How grateful we are to gather today because it means that we have made it through Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement and now look forward joyfully to the celebration of Sukkot! Its in the midst of these fall feasts, some of the most significant times of the year on the calendar of Yahweh, that we are given quite a unique Torah portion as well. Haazinu/Give Ear, covering Deuteronomy 32:1 52 differs from other portions in that it composed of a prophetical song, the song of Moses, given to the children of Israel! In the midst of the season of teshuva, repenting and returning, we are given this song as well to remind us when we stray of the covenant that we are meant to be keeping! Before we delve into the song, first we must back up and understand its purpose! Deuteronomy 31:28 Speak: Strongs #1697 dabar speech, word, speaking, thing; = door & = root that can translate either as son or cleanness, pureness, something which has a cleansing property. These words would teach us how to come to the door of the Son, the door that would cleanse us making us pure! *Its no accident that this portion Haazinu is written in a unique manner it forms a doorway a lintel and 2 columns/doorposts! What all would happen at this door? When we break this verse down within the Hebrew it reads slightly different than what we glean in the English. Haqehilu elay et kal ziqnei shivteikem veshotreikem vaadabrah beazneihem et hadebarim haelleh veaidah bam et hashamayim veet haeretz. Whats translated as against them in Hebrew is bam in them Call: Strongs #5749 uwd 1 )to return, repeat, do again, go about 2) to bear witness When they come to the door, something would bear witness, be returned, repeated, done again in them! It would be the same thing that is written in the heavens and earth both hashamayim and eretz have attached to it the Et (Messiah/Word/Torah)! It was the Word that was written in the heavens (constellational signs) and in the earth, and now as we come to the door/Son, it would be written in us! Notice the phrase heavens and earth, sends us back to Genesis 2:1-4 *Theres an interesting connection between this passage and this song! In

Genesis 2:4 the phrase when they were created/behibaream is written with a diminished letter where in this song in Deuteronomy 32:6 the verse starts with an enlarged letter that stands alone in other words it balances each other out! Could it be that this song, as we come to this door, that its all about the being restored to us, the breath, the revelation, knowledge, the wind, His Spirit? Could it be that this song is part of the fulfillment of the prophecy of Ezekiel 37 where the dry bones have breath enter into them again?! Ezekiel 37:8-9 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but [there was] no breath in them. Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith Yahweh Elohim; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. Four: Strongs #702 arba four; 4 = door; from #7251 raba to square, be squared (Ezekiel 41:21 The [door] posts of the temple were squared/raba) *The dry bones must come to the door to have breath enter into them!! The exact same pattern is seen in John 20:22 And when he had said this, he breathed on [them], and saith unto them, Receive ye the Ruach Haqodesh: The Door (Yahshua) breathes on the dry bones and the spirit/breath/wind enters them! Song: Strongs #7892 shiyr song; spelled with the same letters as yarash (#3423) to seize, dispossess, take possession of, occupy, be an heir & its the same letters that form yashar (#3474) to be right, be straight, be level, or be lawful This song would cause you to possess and inherit the and it is by arriving at/coming to the door that you would be marked as a yashar one, an upright one! The root of Israel those who would come to the door would be those fit to wear this title (hence the reason the Door/Messiah made the statement that He came for the lost sheep of the house of Israel offering them the door to receive the spirit again!). We find that this is an established pattern throughout the Scriptures! Remember that this is not only dealing with the but also the ET being written within us. 401 ,401 = st verse is Genesis 17:3 And Abram fell on his face: and Elohim talked with him saying. *One of the most well known examples of the being restored is in the life of Abram, whose name is changed to Abraham, the is added/restored! And

this verse, the 401st/ET verse directly precedes his name change in 17:4! The same letters that spell the term for song/shiyr also form the name Sarai before her name as well is changed to Sarah with the addition of the letter Did Abraham as well come to the door? Genesis 15:5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. Tell: Strongs #5608 caphar to count, recount, relate, to rehearse; can also mean to inscribe; 2 letter root #5592) )a threshold, sill, doorway, a doorkeeper, one who is at the doorposts & = head *One who has placed their head to the doorpost! If Abram would do this, if he would place his head at the doorpost then the ET written in the heavens would be inscribed on him as well, the breath/spirit/wind would enter the dry bones! Deuteronomy 32:1 Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. Give Ear: Strongs #238 azan to hear, listen; same term is used in reference to the bondservant *In fact the whole them of coming to the door is found in the ritual of one who becomes a bondservant, one who is able to go free having spent their time in servitude yet chooses to remain with their master!

The Bondservant
Exodus 21:5-6 Free: Strongs #2670 chophshiy free; from #2666 chaphash to be free, be freed; Breaking this apart #2643) )pure, clean, innocent & #7862)) gift, present, gift offered as homage; from #7737 shavah to agree with, be or become like, level, resemble *Used in Isaiah 18:7 In that time shall the present/ be brought unto Yahweh of hosts of a people scattered and peeled, and from a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden under foot, whose land the rivers have spoiled, to the place of the name of Yahweh of hosts, the mount Zion. Peeled: Strongs #4178 mowrat scoured, polished, smooth The bondservant is one who understands that its only by coming to the door that hell be able to present himself as that polished, pure, clean gift unto Yahweh, one who has become like Him, one who resembles Yahweh, one who has been brought to a higher level, and one who is able to become echad/or enter into agreement with Him and because of this he chooses not to go out free but instead to lend/give 3

his ear to the door! Bring: Strongs #5066 nagash to draw near, approach; spelled with the same letters that form #5381 nasag to overtake, reach, take hold upon, to obtain or possess something. *In other words, as the bondservant is brought to the door, its in order to obtain or possess something that otherwise he would not have access too! Bore: Strongs #7527 ratsa to bore, pierce; gematria = 360; the Zodiac or the great circle of the heavens is 360 degrees pointing us right back to Abraham who is told to stand at the door of the heavens (to tell the stars)! 2 letter root #7518) )bar of silver; silver is the medal associated with redemption! And this is taking place at the doorpost: Strongs #4201 mezuwzah doorpost, gatepost; the root shekel, because there are two doorposts in a doorframe the total would be a shekel! A silver half shekel, which is the price for one who is numbered in the camp of Israel (Exodus 38:36 A bekah for every man that is, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary, for every one that went to be numbered) Numbered: Strongs #6485 paqad to attend, to muster, number, visit, look after *Was part of the key phrase that would signify the end of the children of Israels bondage in Egypt (those 400 years)! Genesis 50:24 Elohim will surely (paqad) visit (paqad) you & seen repeated in Exodus 3:16 and Exodus 13:19. In other words, the end of their bondage would be when they were numbered and received their shekel, and part of the end of our bondage today as well is marked by our being counted and receiving the shekel redemption again! Now we can understand that the way we receive our shekel is by coming to the mezuwzah/doorposts! Shekel: Strongs #8255 sheqel shekel; gematria = 430, same as #5398 nashaph to blow once again the connection between the doorposts and receiving the breath! *The gematria of shekel is 430, or 43 x 10, where this song haazinu is composed of 43 verses! Serve: Strongs #5647 abad to work, or serve, to labor; 2 letter root of #5646) )threshold of a doorway & #905) )alone, separate, divided; same word used to describe the staves slid into the rings in order to carry the Ark of the Covenant! Once the servant chose to give his ear to the door, he crossed the threshold (entered into covenant) and now he becomes the tools that 4

carry the Ark/Presence of Yahweh/ET! *The Temple is fashioned after the form of a man laid out on the earth. And its the Ark that represents the nose; the poles/staves becoming the nostrils that breathe in the smoke from the Altar of Incense! And so when we choose to become bondservants, it marks us as those same staves/poles that carry His Presence/Ark and we become the nostrils that have the incense/the breath/the inserted into us! Yet the only way to do this, once again, is by lending your ear to the door! Forever: Strongs #5769 owlam long duration, antiquity, for ever, everlasting, evermore, perpetual root (#5923) yoke, servitude, bondage; yet inserted in the midst of the yoke is the letter the connecter, representing the Messiah in serving Yahweh as the bondservant, in lending our ear to the door in order the ET/ to inserted within us, its the Vav man/the Messiah that carries the yoke! Matthew 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Its no accident that upon the doorposts/mezuzot the Shema is written. In Deuteronomy 6:4, its written with an enlarged letter upon the end of the word shema and an enlarged letter upon the end of echad these 2 letters form #5707 ed witness; yet these 2 letters also form #5708 ed (shortened form of iddah )used in Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesses [are] as filthy/iddah rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. *To be a true bondservant, to be one who presents our ears to the doorpost willing to serve forever, we must understand that our lives should be a witness/a testimony of His Spirit within us! Yet at the same time it requires us to always acknowledge as well that on our own (without access to this door) our righteousness is as filthy rags and its only by touching the door that were able to remain in the house of our master!
