G L Bajaj is located in Knowledge Park-III, in one of the most well planned and green townships in India i.e. Greater Noida. As the name implies Knowledge Park-III is purpose built and has been designed and envisaged to be a premier learning center in North India. This Park has more than twenty operational colleges for higher education. All students and parents are encouraged to visit our premises and feel free to view & to experience the facilities, first hand before or after enrollment. This Park has got all the facilities of a metro lifestyle. A 6-lane expressway connects this Park to Delhi.

Air-conditioned classrooms and tutorial rooms provide a healthy environment for effective interaction between teachers and students. Modern teaching aids are used for conducting the lectures. The latest audio video technology enables faculty members to have interactive sessions of teaching, which makes the students confident and enthusiastic.

Library and Information Service


The Library has a collection of about 6100 carefully selected volumes, including text and reference books in various functional areas of management. The Institute subscribes to about 54 Indian and foreign journals, magazines and newspapers. There is a large collection of annual reports of national and international organizations. The library is supported by e-journal facilities. In addition, the Institute has a number of video CDs on business games, case studies, management decisions, etc. Book Bank facility is also available for the students on trimester basis.

Hostel
Well-designed hostel form an integral part of the academic and social life at GLBIMR. The hostel enables students to optimally utilize campus resources such as library and computing facilities. The Institute has separate boys and girls hostels. The boys hostel is within the campus. The girls hostel is at a distance of 3 kms. Transport facility is available for hostellers. Airy and well-ventilated rooms in the hostels are double-bedded with TV, Gym, News Papers, Mess, Stationery Store & facility to wash and iron cloths. 24/7 power backup and 24-hour water facilities are provided in the hostels. Dedicated wardens and round-the-clock security in each of the hostels are available to look after the well being of the hostellers. Book shop, Internet stations, STD/ISD booths, multi-activity playing grounds and buses connecting the city are also available.

Cafeteria
The Institute has a clean and spacious canteen that caters to the students and faculty members. The canteen is properly equipped. Breakfast and Lunch are served at the canteen at a reasonable rate. Regular checks by faculty and medical officer are made at the canteen to ensure proper hygiene.

Auditorium, Seminar Hall & Conference Hall


The Institute has a state-of-art, fully air-conditioned Auditorium with a seating capacity of 250 people, Seminar Hall with seating capacity of 150 people and Conference Hall with a seating capacity of 75 people. All of these are wellequipped with latest acoustics technology and sound system. The auditorium reflects an excellent work of modern architecture.

Language Lab
The lab attempts to inculcate the practical skills of communication which include discussion session, presentation, mock meetings, mock interview with an objective of developing the all round personality, particularly the qualities of leadership, dynamism, team building, positive value based attitude and confidence among the scholars.

Bus facility at nominal fee is provided to the students which covers almost entire DelhiNCR region.

Stationery and Reprography Centre


A multi-utility store provides for all student needs including printing and photocopying facility. STD/PCO is available within campus. Most student needs can be fulfilled at this store.

Medical
GLBIMR provides free first aid to the students in college campus during working hours. Medical officer is available during college hours. Qualified physicians are on college rolls and are available in the close proximity for consultancy. Hospital facilities are available within reach and transportation is ensured round the clock.

Water and Electricity


GLBIMR has in-house arrangements to deliver uninterrupted water and electricity supply for the students, round the clock. Sufficient water coolers with filtered RO water are available throughout the campus. High power generators are installed to provide 100% power backup in case of power failures. Cleanliness is given utmost importance. All rest rooms are of a very high standard.

Health Checkup Camp


Health is wealth. An annual health checkup camp is organized in the campus to examine the health of all students. At this camp students are made aware of health related issues, which enable students to pursue a healthy life.

Sports Activities
Spending quality time is never a problem in the Institute. Sports facilities are provided for Lawn tennis, Table tennis, Cricket, Football, Badminton, Basketball, and Volleyball. Evenings find students enjoying the excitement of these sports as players and audience.

Debate Competitions
Debating competitions are organized regularly in the GLBIMR campus. Students are encouraged to participate in these events and to defend their views on the subject.

The Debate club creates opportunities for students to develop their debating skills. Intra and Inter collegiate debating competitions are organized. Students are encouraged to participate in competitions conducted by other colleges.

Dramatic Club
The primary aim of the dramatic club is to give the students a platform to showcase their talent. This club organizes and hosts the Inter-college competitions and fests.

Quiz Club
Quiz competitions are conducted in the campus. These competitions are well attended. The aim being to identify students who could represent GLBIMR in quiz competitions conducted by other institutions.

Corporate Resources Centre


The CRC at GLBIMR looks after corporate interface possibilities of students in business, trade and service organizations. It is round the year activity and not just confined to summer training projects and job placement. The Centre maintains strong database of potential recruiters, maintains continuous liasioning with them, and assess trends in their requirement, which helps CRC to prepare the prospective managers on these lines. The CRC organizes workshops, guest lectures and seminars to enhance both technical and soft skills among the students. It encourages students to work on live projects, which help them to relate classroom teachings with the industrial practices. In order to have better understanding of organization culture/industrial process, the CRC also organizes industrial visits for its students at regular intervals.

Conducting soft skills workshops for the overall development & grooming of the students. Conducting brief sessions of Industry Institute interaction for bridging the gap between Industry and Academia. Intensive Personality Development Programs for students . Providing summer training for the students. Conducting industrial visits. Conducting lecture sessions by eminent professionals from industry and corporate business leaders. Conduct session on communication skill, grooming, corporate etiquettes.

The Corporate Resource Center, therefore, grooms students holistically right through soft skills, presentation skills, and interview skills to successful attainment of all round personality. As a result of above, more than 90 per cent of last batch PGDM students have been placed in reputed companies in the salary package between 3 to 7 lacs per annum. The reputation which GLBIMR has gained owes to the strong industry networking and excellent placement records. GLBIMR has been at the fore front in its placement over the last few years. Latest industry moguls to visits the campus for Mega Recruitment Drive are TCS and Infosys. In a week- long TCS drive, which is one of the biggest in last two years in India, around 6000 students of 250 colleges from all over India participated and many of them cracked all the stages successfully. GL Bajaj stood ahead of others and placed maximum number of its students during the drive. The second recent recruiter was Infosys. Around 27 colleges were participants and here too, G.L. Bajaj topped the list with 18 selected students. With our ever-increasing attempt of giving maximum exposure of the industry, latest market trends and guidance to our students from time to time that GLBITM has found its niche in the academic world. Referring to the growing trend of industry-institute interaction we have always strived towards building up relationship with the industry. Specialized programs are being organized periodically on various topics and the faculty gets trained on advanced topics by experts. Such programs bridge the technical gap that students normally would encounter between Academia and the Industry. As part of our industryinstitute interaction our college was invited by Infosys (Chandigarh) in their Campus Connect-Spark program. Selected students from all the branches were accompanied by their faculty on this tour to Infosys. Some of our senior faculties are members of industry associations like CII, CSI, IEEMA, and ISME.

Summer Training
On completion of first year of PGDM programme, students gain hands-on experience in the application of core concepts and functional skills. This practice of Learning by Doing helps the students to relate the rigorous of theory in the world of business. Students work on projects as per the specification of the company. At the end of 8-10 weeks of closely guided project under the supervision of the company executive, each student submits a report to the company and to the institute. The concerned company executive normally provides feedback to the Programme Director on the students performance. Summer Training is an essential requirement for the award of PGDM.

GLBIMR has evolved a philosophy of education, which emphasizes holistic development of its students, and an education system that looks beyond employment and concentrates on individual development by imparting the students the skills of life-time relevance and developing them as well adjusted human beings. Centre for Research and Publication (CRP)

GLBIMR Centres of Excellence . . . stepping towards excellence

The CRP aims at creating, disseminating and utilizing knowledge to address the needs of the industry and academia in the field of management and technology. Broad activities of CRP includes research, publications, capacity building through education and training programmes, case development and sharing views and experiences in innovation and technology management. The Institute also publishes a bi-annual research journal 'OPTIMIZATION' to promote research in management. The Institute publishes quarterly newsletter 'Prayas' to highlight various creative activities of the students and faculty. It also covers short 'Management Cases' and articles contributed by the students and faculty.

Centre for Consultancy


The centre is created to support and provide innovative solutions to both business and service organizations in integrating technology into their business strategy as well as helping enterprises enhance their efficiency, competency and competitiveness.

Centre for Training and Development (CTD)


The CTD is created to conduct workshops, seminars and executive development programmes in various functional areas of management, developing appropriate management skills among administrators and corporate executives. The Institute offers a full range of customized executive development programmes in general management and other functional areas. The faculty members of GLBIMR have already conducted MDP programmes for companies like Hero Honda, Samsung, Yamaha, Orient fans etc.

The groups organise several activities such as symposia, conferences, cultural events, quizzes, lectures, etc. that serve the professional and intellectual interests of the students. Student's interest groups include: Marketing Club The basic idea behind forming this club is to help its members go beyond the horizons of test books and gain valuable insights. The club undertakes several activities including quizzes, simulations, advertising games, brainstorming sessions and guest lectures. Such activities encourage students to be innovative and to develop their own perspective. Finance Club The club members are involved in constant endeavours to supplement the pedagogical inputs with spirited activities such as stock market simulations, quizzes, discussions and guest lectures. Such activities sharpen the student's analytical and conceptual skills. HRD Club This club provides students an opportunity to understand people management across all functional disciplines, developing behavioural, interpersonal skills and gaining insight into HRM practices. System Club This club is committed towards fostering a high degree of awareness of IT as a key business enabler in managers of tomorrow. The activities of the club include seminars on emerging IT trends, FDA and workshops on application packages.

Students Achievement
Durgesh Nandini and Sweta Rohini represented GLBIMR in 'National Competition for Management Students' organized by AIMA at New Delhi Institute of Management. The topic was 'Innovate, Restructure, Reorganize: Challenges for India Inc.' Our students participated in the north zone round and stood first runners up from the region and subsequently qualified for the national level where two teams from each regions competed at IILM New Delhi. These students of PGDM carried the banner of the Institute and stood fourth at the national level.

How to Apply
GLBIMR brochure and application form can be obtained: On cash payment of Rs. 1000/- from GLBIMR campus, On sending a demand draft for Rs. 1100/- drawn in favour of GLBIMR payable at Greater Noida/Delhi, or By downloading from website and sending back to the Institution with bank draft of Rs. 1000/-.

CAT %ile 90 & above 80 to 90 MAT score 700 & above 650 & above Scholarship Amount Rs. 50,000/Rs. 25,000/-

Admission Procedure
Candidates are required to appear for the CAT and/or MAT. GLBIMR uses CAT/MAT scores only for short-listing candidates. Corporate Sponsored/NRI candidates are required to furnish Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score for admission. The Group Discussion and Personal Interview are conducted at GLBIMR campus and other places. Admission merit list will be based on applicant's academic record, work experience (if any), CAT/MAT Score, performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Successful candidates will be informed of their final selection within 07 days from the date of their GD and PI. The selected candidates are expected to pay first installment of fee within two weeks of receiving the admission offer.Few seats are reserved for company sponsored candidates.

Summer Training Project


At the end of the Third trimester, all students will be required to undergo Summer Training of 8-10 weeks with an industrial, business or service organization approved by Corporate Relations and Placement Cell. The student will undertake a project study in the chosen organization under non-remunerative joint supervision of a senior executive of the organization and a faculty member. Upon completion of the Summer Training, the student is required to submit a project report to the Institute within two weeks of the commencement of the fourth trimester for the purpose of evaluation in the third trimester. A duly constituted board will evaluate the written Project Report and conduct the viva-voce of the Project.
