ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT: Information Technology is the coveted branch of study that has attracted much attention and publicity in the recent years due to the wide ranges of lucrative job opportunities open in the evergrowing field of IT enabled services and allied corporate sectors. Our department was established in the year of 2001 and accredited by NBA. Department has faculties having good experience and expertise in various fields of Information Technology. We have well furnished lab with state of art technologies having connected with highspeed internet connectivity. ABOUT THE WORKSHOP: LATEX pronounced Lah-tech is a document preparation system for high-quality typesetting. It is most often used for medium-to-large technical and scientific documents but it can be used for almost any form of publishing. LATEX is not a word processor! Instead, LATEX separates content from formatting and facilitates portability of documents.

WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES:
This workshop will provide hands on practical experience on Latex. LaTeX is a document preparation system for high-quality typesetting. It is most often used for technical or scientific papers writing for journals by researchers, engineers and mathematicians at large. The typesetting system offers programmable writing features and extensive facilities for automating most aspects of typesetting. The various features of Latex are: Typesetting journal articles, technical reports, books, and slide presentations. Control over large documents containing Sectioning, cross-references, tables and figures. Typesetting of complex mathematical formulas. Advanced typesetting of mathematics with AMS-LaTeX. Automatic generation of bibliographies and indexes. Multi-lingual typesetting. Inclusion of artwork, and process or spot color. Using PostScript or Meta font fonts.
