ATTACHMENT A: Legend of Sleepy Howell Booth Regulations and Requirements


The requirements listed below must be met by all businesses and organizations taking part in the 10th Annual Legend of Sleepy Howell. By submitting your application, you agree to abide by these and all other requirements as stated in this application. Completed application and all required fees must be received no later than October 19, 2012. If your company requires an invoice for payment, please email this request to: info@downtownhowell.org. Participants are reminded that the Legend of Sleepy Howell is a family friendly FREE event and items given out, displays, and entertainment/activities should support a family friendly environment. No political booths will be allowed into this event. Booth area is 10 x 10. Participants are responsible for providing their own tables, chairs, tents, etc. All your equipment and supplies must fit into this 10 x 10 area only. If larger than a 10' x 10' booth space is required - must purchase appropriate number of booth spaces to accommodate your needed space. Booth set up starts at 3 p.m. -- all booths must be ready for the open of the event at 5 p.m. and remain open until 9 p.m. when take down will occur. Applicant agrees to keep its booth area or activity open and staffed during the official hours of the event! Applicants must weigh down their tents. In case of inclement weather applicants assume all liability assumed with a tent that is moved by strong winds. Applicant, and their volunteers/employees, agree to conduct themselves in a professional, respectful, cooperative manner. Any behavior deemed inappropriate by the Howell Main Street DDA may result in expulsion from the event. The Howell Main Street DDA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applicants. The Howell Main Street DDA and the City of Howell will not be held responsible for any equipment, merchandise, goods or personal property which is lost, stolen or damaged during the event. There will be no refunds issued for this event.
