WHY ALLAH (SWT) CONTRADICT HIMSELF WHEN HE SAYS THAT THE PUNISHMENT OF FORNICATION IS DIFFERENT IN MANY PLACES? Answer SURAH NISA CHAPTER 4 VERSE 15: UNTIL A NEW ORDER COMES 15. If any of your women are guilty of lewdness, take the evidence of four (Reliable) witnesses from amongst you against them; and if They testify, confine them to houses until death do claim them, or Allah ordain for them some (other) way. SURAH NUR CHAPTER 24 VERSE 2: 100 STRIPES FOR FORNICATION 1. A Sura which we have sent down and which we have ordained In it have we sent down Clear Signs, In order that ye may receive admonition. 2. The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication,- flog Each of them with a hundred stripes: let not compassion move you In their case, In a matter prescribed by Allah, if ye believe In Allah and the Last Day: and let a party of the believers witness their punishment. It is not contradiction because Allah (swt) has already said in the earlier verse of Surah Nisa, Chapter 4 Verse 15 that unless Allah (swt) Ordain something else so if the verse have a full stop here then there is confusion but since Allah (swt) does not stop there and Says that unless He will give something else, so later on when we read Surah Nur, Chapter 24 verse 2 we come to know that the punishment of a fornicator is 100 lashes and the punishment for an adulterer in
capital punishment as prescribed in surah Nisa, Chapter 4 Verse 15 along with several other authentic Hadiths of the prophet (sws). HADITH GIVES CAPITAL PUNISHMENT FOR ADULTERY According to Hadith it gives the punishment for an adultery as stone to death and punishment of a fornicator 100 stripes and exile for 01 year.
Book (Laws.) and allow me to speak," He said, "My son was a laborer for this man and he committed illegal sexual intercourse with his wife. The people told me that my son should be stoned to death but I ransomed him with onehundred sheep and a slave girl. Then I asked the religious learned people and they told me that his wife should be stoned to death and my son should receive onehundred lashes and be sentenced to one year of exile.' The Prophet said, "By Him in Whose Hands my life is, I will judge between you according to Allah's Book (Laws): As for the slave girl and the sheep, they are to be returned; and as for your son, he shall receive onehundred lashes and will be exiled for one year. You, O Unais!" addressing a man from Bani Aslam, "Go tomorrow morning to the wife of this (man) and if she confesses, then stone her to death." The next morning Unais went to the wife and she confessed, and he stoned her to death. 2.413: death for adultery Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar : The Jew brought to the Prophet a man and a woman from amongst them who have committed (adultery) illegal sexual intercourse. He ordered both of them to be stoned (to death), near the place of offering the funeral prayers beside the mosque." i. FOR FORNICATION 3.817: Narrated Zaid bin Khalid: Allah's Apostle ordered that an unmarried man who committed illegal sexual intercourse be scourged one hundred lashes and sent into exile for one year. 6.4: for adultery Narrated `Abdullah: I asked the Prophet, "What is the greatest sin in the Sight of Allah?" He said, "That you set up a rival unto Allah though He Alone created you." I said, "That is indeed a great sin." Then asked, "What is next?" He said, "To kill your son lest he should share your food with you." I asked, "What is next?" He said, "To commit illegal sexual intercourse with the wife of your neighbor."
Adultery 4:15-16: 15. if any of your women are guilty of lewdness, take the evidence of four (Reliable) witnesses from amongst you against them; and if They testify, confine them to houses until death do claim them, or Allah ordain for them some (other) way. 16. if two men among you are guilty of lewdness, punish them both. if They repent and amend, leave them alone; for Allah is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful. 5:5
5. This Day are (all) things good and pure made lawful unto you. the food of the people of the Book is lawful unto you and yours is lawful unto them. (Lawful unto you In marriage) are (Not only) chaste women who are believers, but chaste women among the people of the Book, revealed before your time,- when ye give them their due dowers, and desire chastity, not lewdness, nor secret intrigues if any one rejects Faith, fruitless is His work, and In the Hereafter He will be In the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good).
17:32: 32. nor come nigh to adultery: for it is a shameful (deed) and an evil, opening the road (to other evils). 24:2-4:
2. the woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication, flog Each of them with a hundred stripes: let not compassion move you In their case, In a matter prescribed by Allah, if ye believe In Allah and the Last Day: and let a party of the believers witness their punishment. 3. let no man guilty of adultery or fornication marry and but a woman similarly guilty, or an Unbeliever: nor let any but such a man or an Unbeliever marry such a woman: to the believers such a thing is forbidden. 4. and those who launch a charge against chaste women, and produce not four witnesses (to support their allegations),- flog them with eighty stripes; and reject their evidence ever after: for such men are wicked transgressors;-
25:68: 68. those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life As Allah has made sacred except for just Cause, nor Commit fornication; - and any that does This (Not only) meets punishment. 60:12:
12. O Prophet! when believing women come to Thee to take the oath of fealty to thee, that They will not associate In worship any other thing whatever with Allah, that They will not steal, that They will not Commit adultery (or fornication), that They will not kill their children, that They will not utter slander, intentionally forging falsehood, and that They will not disobey Thee In any just matter,- then do Thou receive their fealty, and pray to Allah for the forgiveness (of their sins): for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. 24:4-9:
4. and those who launch a charge against chaste women, and produce not four witnesses (to support their allegations),- flog them with eighty stripes; and reject their evidence ever after: for such men are wicked transgressors;5. unless They repent thereafter and mend (Their conduct); for Allah is Oft- forgiving, Most Merciful. 6. and for those who launch a charge against their spouses, and have (in support) no evidence but their own,- their solitary evidence (can be received) if They bear witness four times (with an oath) by Allah that They are solemnly telling the truth; 7. and the fifth (oath) (Should be) that They solemnly invoke the curse of Allah on themselves if They Tell a lie. 8. but it would avert the punishment from the wife, if she bears witness four times (with an oath) by Allah, that (her husband) is telling a lie; 9. and the fifth (oath) should be that she solemnly invokes the wrath of Allah on herself if (her accuser) is telling the Truth. 24:11:19:
11. those who brought forward the lie are a body among yourselves: think it not to be an evil to you; on the contrary it is good for you: to every man among them (will come the punishment) of the sin that He earned, and to Him who took on Himself the lead among them, will be a penalty grievous. 12. why did not the believers - men and women - when ye heard of the affair,- put the best construction on it In their own minds and say, "This (charge) is an obvious lie" ?
13. why did They not bring four witnesses to prove it? when They have not brought the witnesses, such men, In the sight of Allah, (stand forth) themselves As liars! 14. were it not for the Grace and Mercy of Allah on you, In This world and the Hereafter, a grievous penalty would have seized you In that ye rushed glibly into This affair. 15. Behold, ye received it on your tongues, and said out of your mouths things of which ye had no knowledge; and ye thought it to be a light matter, while it was Most serious In the sight of Allah. 16. and why did ye not, when ye heard it, say? - "It is not right of us to speak of this: glory to Allah. This is a Most serious slander!" 17. Allah doth admonish you, that ye may never repeat such (conduct), if ye are (true) believers. 18. and Allah makes the Signs plain to you: for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom. 19. those who love (to see) scandal published broadcast among the believers, will have a grievous penalty In This life and In the Hereafter: Allah knows, and ye know not. 24:23: 23. those who slander chaste women, indiscreet but believing, are cursed In This life and In the Hereafter: for them is a grievous penalty,-

Bangladesh Extra-marital affairs/adultery and divorce rates rising [1] Mullahs are Coming! Cry Wolf in Bangladesh Taj Hashmi 2
Bangladeshi community alarmed with rise in divorce
Many people are silently ashamed. They cannot even tell their relatives in Bangladesh that their wives committed adultery; they feel compelled to push away their long-time friends. Many suffer mental anxiety, making the colorful dream of the immigrants into a dangerous nightmare for some. According to reports, some husbands also commit adultery. They return home in the middle of the night after theyve been working and drinking [3]

affectionate," said Professor of Psychiatry Jhunu Shamsunnahar of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University. "In less serious cases, the patients are mostly handled by giving counselling to improve their confidence and self-reliance. We suggest counselling because it really helps get relief from frustrating situations," added the professor. "In serious cases, the patients are also provided with medication for relaxation of the condition," she said. Sonali Das (not her real name) came to the outdoor department of NIMH, saying that she was feeling insecure and helpless as her husband was involved with a girl and so, she wanted to consult a psychiatrist. She said, When my husband goes to office or any other work, I feel so insecure and feel that he wont come back just as he threatened to do when I asked him about the involvement. I can not bear the pain. I feel cheated, humiliated and deprived. Society and family are not helping me. Every body says that I have failed to keep my husband attracted to me. Sometimes they even say that I should tolerate it," said Sonali, who got married 17 years ago and has three children. Explaining a patients' condition at the NIMH, Prof Golam Rabbani said that the 29-year-old man from Jhenidah, is now under treatment as he had tried to commit suicide after finding out about his wife's illicit affair with one of his friends. He also pointed out relevant recent incidents that received media attention, like the case of Rita's suicide with her two kids and other cases of parents being suspected of killing their children for extra marital affairs. "All these incidents indicate the vulnerable social situation which gets created from such illicit relations," said the mental health expert. Considering that family is one critically important institution, the couples should work with commitment and trust. Every person should be committed towards their partners and other family members, said Mehtab Khanam, professor of psychology at the University of Dhaka.

Violence against wives, sexual risk and sexually transmitted infection among Bangladeshi men.
RESULTS:
More than 1 in 3 (36.84%) married Bangladeshi men reported physically and/or sexually abusing their wives in the past year. Men perpetrating such violence were more likely to report both premarital and extramarital sex partners (OR(adj)s 1.80-3.45; 95% CI 1.20 to 8.23); those reporting physical violence were more likely to report STI symptoms or diagnosis in the past year (OR(adj)s 1.68-2.52; 95% CI 1.24 to 3.73). Men perpetrating physical violence and contracting an STI were somewhat more likely to fail to disclose infection status to wives (OR(adj) 1.58; 95% CI 0.93 to 2.70) than infected men not reporting such abuse.
CONCLUSIONS:
Violence against wives is common among Bangladeshi men. Men who perpetrate such abuse represent increased risk regarding their wives' sexual health because they are more likely to both participate in extramarital sexual behaviour and contract an STI compared with non-abusive husbands. Given the growing epidemic of HIV infection among monogamous South Asian women based on intercourse with infected nonmonogamous husbands, research and intervention regarding men's violence in marriage and implications of such behaviour for women's sexual health should be prioritised.
