Vagina / clitoris / private part

Vagina Abu Dawud

Book 11, Number 2126: Narrated Basrah: A man from the Ansar called Basrah said: I married a virgin woman in her veil. When I entered upon her, I found her pregnant. (I mentioned this to the Prophet). The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: She will get the dower, for you made her vagina lawful for you. The child will be your slave. When she has begotten (a child), flog her (according to the version of alHasan). The version of Ibn AbusSari has: You people, flog her, or said: inflict hard punishment on him. Book 11, Number 2159: Narrated Abdullah Ibn Abbas: Ibn Umar misunderstood (the Qur'anic verse, "So come to your tilth however you will")may Allah forgive him. The fact is that this clan of the Ansar, who were idolaters, lived in the company of the Jews who were the people of the Book. They (the Ansar) accepted their superiority over themselves in respect of knowledge, and they followed most of their actions. The people of the Book (i.e. the Jews) used to have intercourse with their women on one side alone (i.e. lying on their backs). This was the most concealing position for (the vagina of) the women. This

clan of the Ansar adopted this practice from them. But this tribe of the Quraysh used to uncover their women completely, and seek pleasure with them from in front and behind and laying them on their backs. When the muhajirun (the immigrants) came to Medina, a man married a woman of the Ansar. He began to do the same kind of action with her, but she disliked it, and said to him: We were approached on one side (i.e. lying on the back); do it so, otherwise keep away from me. This matter of theirs spread widely, and it reached the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him). So Allah, the Exalted, sent down the Qur'anic verse: "Your wives are a tilth to you, so come to your tilth however you will," i.e. from in front, from behind or lying on the back. But this verse meant the place of the delivery of the child, i.e. the vagina.
Sahih muslim Book 3, Number 0610: Umm Salama reported: Umm Sulaim went to the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) and said: Apostle of Allah, Allah is not ashamed of the truth. Is bathing necessary for a woman when she has a sexual dream? Upon this the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Yes, when she sees the liquid (vaginal secretion). Umm Salama said : Messenger of Allah, does a woman have sexual dream ? He (the Holy Prophet) said: Let your hand be covered with dust, in what way does her child resemble her ?

Chapter 19 : PERMISSIBILITY OF HAVING SEXUAL INTERCOURSE WITH ONE'S WIFE FROM THE FRONT OR FROM BEHIND AVOIDING THE ANUS
Book 8, Number 3363:

Jabir (Allah be pleased with him) declared that the Jews used to say: When a man has intercourse with his wife through the vagina but being on her back. the child will have squint, so the verse came down: "Your wives are your tilth; go then unto your tilth as you may desire"(ii. 223) Book 8, Number 3364: Jabir (b.Abdullah) (Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Jews used to say that when one comes to one's wife through the vagina, but being on her back, and
723

she becomes pregnant, the child has a squint. So the verse came down: "Your wives are your ti'Ith; go then unto your tilth, as you may desire." Book 8, Number 3365: This hadith has been reported on the authority of Jabir through another chain of transmitters, but in the hadith transmitted on the authority of Zuhri there is an addition (of these words): "If he likes he may (have intercourse) being on the back or in front of her, but it should be through one opening (vagina)."

Private part Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 347 Narrated byAbuHurayrah Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: I am to you as a father is to his son. So I teach you that whenever you go to the desert (for relieving yourselves) don't face Qiblah and don't turn your back towards it. (The Prophet) commanded the use of three sods for (cleansing) the private parts, he forbade the use of dung or the bones and he forbade that a person should clean himself with his right hand.
Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 358 Narrated byAli ibn AbuTalib Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: The screen between the eyes of Jinn and the private parts of the sons of Adam as one of them enters the privy is that he should say: In the name of Allah. This hadith has been transmitted by Tirmidhi and he said: It is a gharib hadith and its isnad is not sound. Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 366 Narrated byZayd ibn Harith Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: When Gabriel came to him at the time of the first revelation, he taught him (the Prophet) to perform ablution and observe prayer. When he finished the ablution he took hold of a vessel containing water and sprinkled it over his private parts. Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 480 Narrated byUthman ibn Affan The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: A son of Adam (man) has a right to have only three things: A house to live in, a dress to cover his body and private parts, and a piece of bread and water. Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 3123 Narrated byAisha "I never looked at (or, I never saw) the private parts of Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) ." Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 4253 Narrated byAbuAsib Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) went out during the night and when he passed by me and called to me, I went out to him. He then passed by AbuBakr, and when he called him he came out to him. He then passed by Umar and when he called him he went out to him. He then set off and when

he had entered a garden belonging to one of the Ansar he asked the owner of the garden to give us some ripening dates to eat. He brought a bunch and laid it down. When he and his companions had eaten he called for some cold water, after drinking which he said, "You will be questioned about this bounty on the day of resurrection." Thereupon Umar seized the bunch, and when he had thrown it on the ground so that the ripening dates were scattered towards Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him). He said, "Messenger of Allah, shall we be questioned about this on the Day of Resurrection?" He replied, "Yes, but not for three things: a rag with which a man covers his private parts, or a crumb with which he allays his hunger, or a shelter into which he worms himself to escape heat and cold." Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 4832 Narrated byAbuHurayrah

Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "Do you know the thing which most commonly brings people into Paradise? It is fear of Allah and good character. Do you know what most commonly brings people into Hell? It is the two hollow things: the mouth and the private parts." Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 5186 Narrated byUthman ibn Affan The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "The son of Adam has a right only to the following: a house in which he lives, a garment with which he conceals his private parts, dry bread and water."

Book 2, Number 2.1.2: Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'zZinad from alAraj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "When you do wudu, snuff water into your nose and blow it out, and if you use stones to clean your private parts use an odd number."

Book 2, Number 2.30.107: Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Sulayman ibn Yasarfrom Umm Salama, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that a certain woman in the time of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to bleed profusely, so Umm Salama consulted the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, for her, and he said, "She should calculate the number of nights and days a month that she used to menstruate before it started happening, and she should leave off from prayerfor that much of the month. When she has completed that she should do ghusl, bind her private parts with a cloth, and then pray." Book 2, Number 2.30.109: Yahya related to me from Malik from Sumayy, the mawla of Abu Bakr ibn Abd arRahman that alQaqa ibn Hakim and Zayd ibn Aslam sent him to Said ibn alMusayyab to ask how a woman who was bleeding as if menstruating should do ghusl. Said said, "She does a ghusl to cover from the end of one period to the end of the next, and does wudu for every prayer, and if bleeding overtakes her she should bind her private parts." SECTION 32: Urinating Standing and Otherwise

Book 2, Number 2.32.113: Yahya related to me from Malik that Yahya ibn Said said, "A Bedouin came into the mosque and uncovered his private parts to urinate. The people called out to him and began to raise their voices but the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said , 'let him be. 'So they let him be and he urinated. Then the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, ordered a bucketful of water to be brought and it was poured on the place." Book 2, Number 2.32.114: Yahya related to mefrom Malikthat Abdullah ibn Dinar said, "I saw Abdullah ibn Umar urinating while standing." Yahya said that Malik was asked if any hadith had come down about washing the private parts of urine and faeces and he said, "I have heard that some of those who have passed away used to wash themselves of faeces. I like to wash my private parts of urine." Book 20, Number 20.38.125: Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z Zubayr alMakki that Abu Maiz alAslami Abdullah ibn Sufyan told him that once, when he was sitting with Abdullah ibn Umar, a woman came to ask him for an opinion. She said, "I set out intending to do tawaf of the House, but then, when I

got to the gate of the Mosque, I started bleeding, so I went back until it had left me. Then I set out again, and then, when I got to the gate of the mosque, I started bleeding, so I went back until it had left me. Then I set off again, and then, when I got to the gate of the mosque, I started bleeding." Abdullah ibn Umar said, "That is only an impulse from Shaytan. Do ghusl, then bind your private parts with a cloth and do tawaf."

Book 1, Number 0015: Narrated AbuSa'id alKhudri: I heard the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) say: When two persons go together for relieving themselves uncovering their private parts and talking together, Allah, the Great and Majestic, becomes wrathful at this (action). (He said): I am ashamed of consulting him because of the position of his daughter. AlMiqdad said: I asked the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) about it. He said: When any of you finds, he should wash his private part, and perform ablution as he does for prayer. Book 1, Number 0272: Narrated One of the Wives of the Prophet: Ikrimah reported on the authority of one of the wives of the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) saying: When the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) wanted to do something (i.e. kissing, embracing) with (his) menstruating wife, he would put a garment on her private part. Book 1, Number 0274: Narrated Umm Salamah, Ummul Mu'minin: In the time of the

Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) there was a woman who had an issue of blood. So Umm Salamah asked the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) to give a decision about her. He said: She should consider the number of nights and days during which she used to menstruate each month before she was afflicted with this trouble and abandon prayer during that period each month. When those days and nights are over, she should take a bath, tie a cloth over her private parts and pray. Book 1, Number 0284: Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: Bahiyyah said: I heard a woman asking Aisha about the woman whose menses became abnormal and she had an issue of blood. The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) asked me to advise her that she should consider the period during which she used to menstruate every month, when her menstruation was normal. Then she should count the days equal to the length of time (of her normal menses); then she should abandon prayer during those days or equal to that period. She should then take a bath, tie a cloth on her private parts a pray. people are assembled together? He replied: If it is within your power that no one looks at it, then no one should look at it. I then asked: Apostle of Allah if one of us is alone, (what should he do)? He replied: Allah is more entitled than people that bashfulness should be shown to him. Book 31, Number 4007: Narrated AbuSa'id alKhudri: The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: A man should not look at the private parts of another man, and a woman should not look at the private parts of another woman. Book 31, Number 4008: Narrated AbuHurayrah: The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: A man should not lie with another man and a woman should not lie with another woman without covering their private parts except a child or a father. He also mentioned a third thing which I forgot. Book 32, Number 4069: Narrated AbuHurayrah: The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) forbade wearing clothes in two styles: that a man sits in a

He was praying a very short prayer as if it were the prayer of a traveller or near it. When he gave a greeting, my father said: May Allah have mercy on you! Tell me about this prayer: Is it obligatory or supererogatory? He said: It is obligatory; it is the prayer performed by the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him). I did not make a mistake

except in one thing that I forgot. He said: The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) used to say: Do not impose austerities on yourselves so that austerities will be imposed on you, for people have imposed austerities on themselves and Allah imposed austerities on them. Their survivors are to be found in cells and monasteries. (Then he quoted:) "Monasticism, they invented it; we did not prescribe it for them." Next day he went out in the morning and said: will you not go out for a ride, so that you may see something and take a lesson from it? He said: Yes. Then all of them rode away and reached a land whose inhabitants had perished, passed away and died. The roofs of the town had fallen in. He asked: Do you know this land? I said: Who acquainted me with it and its inhabitants? (Anas said:) This is the land of the people whom oppression and envy destroyed. Envy extinguishes the light of good deeds, and oppression confirms or falsifies it. The eye commits fornication, and the palm of the hand, the foot, body, tongue and private part of the body confirm it or deny it.
Sahih Muslim Book 2, Number 0502: 'A'isha reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be npon him) said: Ten are the acts according to fitra : clipping the moustache, letting the beard grow, using the tooth-stick, snuffing water in the nose, cutting the nails, washing the finger joints, plucking the hair under the armpits, shaving the pubes and cleaning one's private

He then performed ablution as is done for prayer'. He then took some water and put his fingers and moved them through the roots of his hair. And when he found that these had been properly moistened, then poured three handfuls on his head and then poured water over his body and subsequently washed his feet. Book 3, Number 0620: Ibn 'Abbas reported it on the authority of Maimuna, his mother's sister, that she said: I placed water near the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) to take a bath because of sexual intercourse. He then struck his hand against the earth and rubbed it with force and then performed ablution for the prayer and then poured three handfuls of water on his head and then washed his whole body after which he moved aside from that place and washed his feet, and then I brought a towel (so that he may wipe his body). but he returned it. Book 3, Number 0667:

Book 3, Number 0668: This hadith has been narrated by Ibn Abu Fudaik and Dabbik b. 'Uthman with the same chain of transmitters and they observed: Private parts of man are the nakedness (which is concealed).

Book 3, Number 0669: Amongst the traditions narrated from Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) on the authority of Abu Huraira, the one is that Banu Isra'il used to take a bath naked, and they looked at the private parts of one another. Moses (peace be upon him), however, took a bath alone (in privacy); and they said (tauntingly): By Allah, nothing prohibits Moses to take a bath along with us, but sacrotal hernia. He (Moses) once went for a bath and placed his clothes on a stone and the stone moved on with his clothes. Moses ran after it saying: 0 stone, my clothes, 0 stone, my clothes, and Banu Isra'il had the chance to see the private parts of Moses, and said : By Allah, Moses does not suffer from any ailment. The stone then stopped, till Moses had been seen by them, and he then took hold of his clothes and struck the stone. Abu Huraira said: By Allah, there are the marks of six or seven strokes made by Moses on the stone. ---------
