Merciful Mu` meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah`s Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

"If anyone of you looked at a person who was made superior to him in property and (in good) appearance, then he should also look at the one who is inferior to him, and to whom he has been made superior. Shahi Bukhari. Book 76 Volume No. 008 Hadith No. 497 Narated By Abu Huraira Translation of few verses Mu` meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah`s Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: Dear Respected Sir, Assalamun Alaikum, I would like to ask that why Sunni Jamath sent salawat to only Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W.S.) and why Shi`as they sent salawat to Prophet and as well as His Aal (Progeny)? And plz give me tafseer of some verses from holy Qur`an, plz find below : (It is Allah`s wish to remove all blemish from you, O Ahlul-Bayt, and purify you with a perfect purification. (33:33) (O you believe, obey Allah and obey His Messenger and those amongst you who are give supreme authority (by Allah). (4:59) None touches (the depth of meaning of Quran) save the purified ones. (56:79) No one knows its interpretation except Allah and those who are firmly ground in knowledge. (3:7) Ask the people of Reminder if you do not know. (21:7, 16:43) Allah Hafeedh, (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. Answer: Olil amr, ahle bayt, taweel, ahe dhikr, shia In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone,

and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 22 Surah Hajj verse 77-78: O you who have believed, do rukooh (bow down) and do sajdah (prostration), and worship your Lord Allah Alone, and do righteous deeds: it may be that you attain true success! Exert your utmost for the cause of Allah, as one should. He has chosen you for His service, and has not laid on you any hardship in your religion. Therefore, be steadfast in the religion of your father Abraham. Allah had named you muslims before this, and has named you (muslims) in this Quran also, so that the Messenger may be a witness in regard to you, and you may be witnesses in regard to the rest of mankind.

Allah says in Chapter 30 Surah Rum aayat 31-32

This (Islam) is the right and true faith, but most people do not know. (Be steadfast on this) turning wholly and sincerely towards Allah Alone, and fear Him, and establish the Salat, and do not be like the mushriks, who have set up their separate creeds and divided themselves into sects, each sect rejoicing in what it has. Allahs says in Chapter 42 Surah Ash-Shura aayat 13 He (Allah) has appointed for you the same Way of Life, which He had ordained for Noah, and which (O Mohamed (saws)) We have now revealed to you, and which We had already enjoined on Abraham and Moses and Jesus, stressing this: "Establish this Way and be not divided in it". Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 171 Narrated by Abdullah ibn Amr That Allah`s Messenger (saws) said: There will befall my Ummah exactly all those evils which befell the people of Israel (Jews and Christians), so much so that if there was one amongst them who openly committed fornication with his mother, there will be amongst my Ummah one, who will do the same. And if the people of Israel were fragmented into seventy-two sects, my Ummah will be fragmented into seventy-three sects. All of them will be in Hell Fire except one sect. The noble Companions asked: O Allah`s Messenger (saws), which one is that? Whereupon he (saws) said: It is one to which I and my companions belong. Dear and beloved sister in Islam, Shias, Sunnis, Ismailis, Salafees, Ahle-Sunnah, AhleHadeeth, etc. are all sect names which man has named and chosen for himself; the name which Allah Subhanah has Himself chosen for the believers is muslims! It does not behove and befit a true believer who sincerely believes in Allah and the Last Day, to belong to any self-invented and man-made sect; but rather he should be proud to be recognized with the name his Lord Most Gracious has chosen for His believing slaves: ie. muslims.

I would like to ask that why Sunni Jamath sent salawat to only Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W.S.) and why Shi`as they sent salawat to Prophet and as well as His Aal (Progeny)? Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 33 Surah Ahzaab verse 56: 56 Allah and His Angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect. When Allah Subhanah commanded the believers to send the salawat or pray the salutation on Prophet Mohamed (saws), the companions of the Messenger of Allah (saws) came to him and asked him how should they obey the Command of Allah Subhanah. And the Messenger of Allah (saws) taught them the salawat, which is recited by the believers till today, and until the end of time; Insha Allah. Al-Muwatta Hadith 9.70 Yahya related from Malik from Nuaym ibn Abdullah al-Mujmirthat, Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Zayd told him that Abu Masud al Ansari said, "The Messenger of Allah (saws) came to us at the gathering of Sad ibn Ubada. Bashir ibn Sad said to him, `Allah has ordered us to ask for blessings on you, O Messenger of Allah (saws). How should we do it?` The Messenger of Allah (saws), remained silent until we wished we had not asked him. Then he (saws) told us to say, `O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim, and give baraka to Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You gave baraka to Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. In all the worlds You are worthy of Praise and Glorious,`" (Allahumma salli ala Muhammad wa ala aale Muhammad kama sallaita ala Ibrahim wa ala aale Ibrahim, wa barak ala Muhammad wa aale Muhammad kama barakta ala Ibrahim wa aale Ibrahim. Fi`l alamin, innaka Hamidu`m - Majid.) Your Questions: And plz give me tafseer of some verses from holy Qur`an, plz find below : My dear and respected brother in Islam, if Allah Subhanah Wills and Helps us, we will strive to the best of our humble ability to depict the tafseer of all the five phrases quoted by you from the Glorious Quran. Respected brother, if one truly wishes to understand and seek guidance from the Glorious Quran, it is absolutely imperative that one study and understand the phrases of the Glorious Quran in context with the full Aayah and the Aayahs preceding and proceeding it.then and only then would one be able to gain the correct tafseer and the true understanding of the Glorious Book of Guidance. If one merely chooses and picks a phrase from the middle of the Aayah and tries to interpret it out of context with the subject matter of the preceding and/or proceeding Aayahs..it is obvious that one would neither get the true picture nor the true understanding of the Glorious Quran. All of the five phrases or part-Aayahs quoted by you when read in isolation may give one picturebut if read in the context of the full Aayah, the true Message and the true

Picture of the Guidance of the Glorious Quran can easily and accurately be understood, Insha Allah. Ref-1: (It is Allah`s wish to remove all blemish from you, O Ahlul-Bayt, and purify you with a perfect purification. (33:33) Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 33 Surah Ahzaab verses 28-34: 28 O Prophet (saws)! Say to thy wives: "If it be that ye desire the life of this world and its glitter, then come! I will provide for your enjoyment and set you free in a handsome manner." 29 But if ye (O wives of the Prophet (saws)) seek Allah and His Messenger (saws) and the Home of the Hereafter, verily Allah has prepared for the well-doers amongst you a great reward. 30 O wives of the Prophet (saws)! if any of you were guilty of evident unseemly conduct, the punishment would be doubled to her and that is easy for Allah. 31 But any of you (amongst the wives of the Prophet (saws)) that is devout in the service of Allah and His Messenger, and works righteousness, to her shall We grant her reward twice: and We have prepared for her a generous sustenance. 32 O wives of the Prophet (saws)! You are not like any of the (other) women: if ye do fear (Allah), be not too complaisant of speech lest one in whose heart is a disease should be moved with desire: but speak ye a speech (that is) just. 33 And (o ye wives of the Prophet (saws)) stay quietly in your houses and make not a dazzling display like that of the former times of ignorance; and establish regular prayer and give regular charity; and obey Allah and His Messenger. And Allah only wishes to remove all abomination from you O Ahlil Bayt (members of the (Prophets (saws)) household) and to make you pure and spotless. 34 And recite what is rehearsed to you in your homes of the Signs of Allah and His Wisdom: for Allah understands the finest mysteries and is well-acquainted (with them). In the above quoted verses of Surah Ahzaab, the Lord Most Majestic Most Supreme has specifically directed this Discourse towards the ladies and specifically the noble and chaste wives of the Prophet (saws), given them collective guidance on the importance of their special rank and position as the wives of the Last and Final Messenger (saws) and what behavior is acceptable from them and what is unacceptable. The statement of the Lord in the latter part of the Verse 33: .And Allah only wishes to remove all abomination from you O Ahlil Bayt (members of the (Prophets (saws)) household) and to make you pure and spotless is the declared mission and conclusion of the Lord in giving this noble discourse and guidance to the ladies and specially the wives of the Prophet (saws)..to remove all abomination from the members of the Prophets (saws) household and make them absolutely pure and worthy of the station of being the wives of the Last and Final Messenger of Allah (saws). Some misguided people and sects, who have their own political and religious agenda, have tried to quote this part-Aayah and phrase of Verse 33 from the Surah Al-Ahzaab in their futile efforts to prove their erroneous beliefs regarding the superiority of their listed and nominated members of the Ahlal-Bayt, which obviously do not include the noble and chaste wives of the Prophet (saws)!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 17 Surah Bani Israel verse 81: And declare, The Truth has come and falsehood has vanished. And falsehood is a thing, that must by its very nature, vanish! Ref-2: (O you believe, obey Allah and obey His Messenger and those amongst you who are give supreme authority (by Allah). (4:59) Again brother, this is only part of the whole Aayah! The whole Aayah is as follows: Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa verse 59: O you who believe, obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those entrusted with authority amongst you. Then if there arises any dispute about anything, refer the dispute to Allah and the Messenger, if you truly believe in Allah and the Last Day. That would be the best way and most suitable for final determination. The Arabic word ati means obey.. In the above aayah, Allah commands the believers to obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those entrusted with authority (olil-amr) amongst you. The above verse is extremely clear whereby Allah says: Ati-Allah meaning obey Allah wa ati-ar Rasool meaning obey the Messenger wa olil-amr minkum meaning and those entrusted with authority amongst you. Allah does not say .wa ati olil amr minkum. The command ati (obey) is not placed independently before the olil-amr. And anyone who knows even basic Arabic grammar will confirm that because the word ati (obey) is not placed before olil-amr (those entrusted with authority), then it becomes a mashroot (condition), that the believers have to obey those entrusted with authority amongst them, ONLY IF THEY OBEY ALLAH AND His MESSENGER (saws)!

Thus in essence, total, categorical, unreserved and unconditional obedience is due only to Allah and His Messenger (saws); everyone other than Allah and His Messenger (saws) will only be obeyed if, and only if, what they command is endorsed by Allah and His Messenger (saws)!

Then Allah continues in the same Aayah: if there arises a dispute about anything, refer the dispute back to Allah (the Quran) and the Messenger (His Sunnah). If you truly believe in Allah and the Last Day.

The commandment is extremely clear Obey Allah, obey His Messenger (saws), and those entrustedm with authority amongst you, (only if they obey Allah and His Messenger (saws).) But if there arises any disputes, then refer the dispute back to Allah(The Quran) and the Messenger(His Sunnah). In the above Aayah, Allah Subhanah has Commanded the believers to obey the people who have authority amongst them, as long as they obey Allah and His Messenger (saws). But if for any reason, these people who have authority amongst them go against anything from the Quran and Sunnah, the believers are not to obey them in that command of theirs. Unconditional obedience in Islam is due to Allah and His Messenger (saws) alone; the obedience of everyone and anyone else will be under the condition that their command is in accordance with the Guidance of Allah and His Messenger (saws). Some misguided people and sects, who have their own political and religious agenda, have tried to quote this part-Aayah and phrase of Verse 59 from Surah An-Nisa in their futile efforts to prove their erroneous belief that just as unconditional obedience is due to Allah and His Messenger (saws), unconditional obedience is similarly due to their listed and nominated members of the progeny and descendants of the Prophet (saws)..Allah is our witness brother, the term olil-amr (those entrusted with authority) used in the verse is general and not specific to any particular family or person/s, nor does the Command of the Lord in any way imply or suggest that unconditional obedience is due to anyone other than Allah and His Messenger (saws)! Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 17 Surah Bani Israel verse 81: And declare, The Truth has come and falsehood has vanished. And falsehood is a thing, that must by its very nature, vanish! Kindly click the below link to read the complete answer http://www.islamhelpline.com/view_answers.asp?QAID=24594 If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of never ever being misled; but if one believes, obeys and follows any other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of being led astray. Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
